"Arrived on site to test unit for not making ice. Upon arrival customer stated unit is making very little and very thin ice. Ran diagnostic cycle, found valve, recirculating pump and drain pump engaging properly. When calling for cool compressor did not engage. Bin thermistor is also not reading properly. Removed unit from cavity and noticed a lot of heat coming from the compressor compartment, condenser fan engaged properly. Powered unit down, removed rear cover and let most heat escape. After a few minutes, powered the unit back up and started a cycle. Compressor kicked on and was pulling 3.2 amps. Unit formed a thick ice slab and released it from the plate onto the grid cutter and cut the cubes properly. Reinstalled unit and ran another cycle, ice slab produced is noticeably thinner by half. Compartment is producing too much heat causing compressor to kick out on thermal. Inspected in front of the condenser coil and noticed foam divider is not in its correct area which may be causing that compartment to overheat. Slid foam divider into manufacture recommended location. Replaced bin thermistor (WPW10511923). All components are now properly engaging. Advised customer if issue returns then to call the office. Sealed system repair may be required. Unit is running as designed, no leaks detected, job complete."

Tested unit, drain pump is now operating properly. When running diagnostic cycle, noticed basket did not disengage during agitation. Unit is not shifting properly. "Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed part. Inspected unit and work area. I replaced the housing assembly and tested the unit with the filter. I still found at the filter was not allowing water to blow through the dispenser freely. I called whirlpool tech line and spoke to Joe SR# 7740003380. He had me ask the customer if they were on a water filtration system or a water softener. They advised they were not. He advised that at that point, we have replaced everything on the machine side that can be causing this issue, and that her issue it would have to be with the filter itself. He advised me to tell the customer to make sure that she is using the every drop filters and not any offbrand filters. The unit is working and operating as designed. Call complete. W11266112."

Arrived onsite for oven with no function. Upon arrival I noticed the oven didn't have power at all. I found the breaker tripped. I flipped the breaker on and tested the machine. The unit tripped about 15 seconds in the bake cycle. I went to turn the breaker on again and it tripped immediately. I found wiring to be good on the oven. I found a loose ground wire but was still tripping after securing. I suspect the breaker has gone bad. I advised the customer to have the builder change it out and if it's still tripping to have us come back out. Call complete. No parts installed.

"Arrived on site to diagnose gas dryer not heating. Ran unit and confirmed that unit tumbles but doesn't heat. Examined igniter element since I saw no glowing when powered on and running. Found that the element for the igniter had broken off, due to being installed sideways, the element directly contacted the bracket for the igniter and ruptured / shorted / broke off. This also in turn ruptured the metal strip in the flame sensor as well. Replaced both parts and tested. Verified unit heating as designed with no other issues. Repair completed. "Arrived on site to follow up on dryer throwing error F3E3 since customer has had unit. Before doing any other testing I installed a new console. If issue has not been corrected with control and thermistor, then either the harness has a potentially intermittent break, or there's an issue with the software / run logic / communication. After I replaced the console / UI I ran the unit. Customer said it was almost always dead between 5-20 mins into the cycle. I ran for 20 mins and checked and got valid readings from the thermistor. I ran another 10 mins and rechecked and was still getting valid readings from the thermistor. This was on an empty load and timed dry cycle. Unit has exceeded the time that it takes to normally throw that error and should be working as designed. If this error returns the only component left is the wiring harness, which may be stretched or have an intermittent contacting broken wire. I tested the thermistor several times at the control while wiggling the harness and never got an OL reading, so I could not prove or duplicate a broken wire. Parts used - W11413567. Call completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect cooktop not igniting. Upon further inspection, I tested the unit and found none of the ignitors are arcing. Verified unit is plugged in and is getting voltage at the outlet. Raised the unit and gained access to the interior of the unit. Tested voltage at the spark module and its not getting voltage. Tested continuity to the power cord and its good. Tested voltage at the power cord connections to the switch harness and its providing voltage. I found the unit is losing voltage at the switch harness connections and power cord. As a temporary repair and with the customer and management permission, I completed a hardwire between the switch harness and power cord and retested and unit is operating as designed. When powering up unit can hear the switching valve then like 2 clicks from control board. Replaced Orion box W11336586 and control kit W11533213. Having same issue. Inspected harness at door and appears good. Contacted techline for assistance. Spoke with Adrian. After series of test found unit is on showroom settings. Cleared settings back to SR#7739996733. I removed the bottom crisper drawer and found ice built up on the left side of the evaporator surrounding the damper area near the suction/cap tube lines. I advised the customer the unit would need to be defrosted before any repairs can be made and recommended they unplug the unit 24 hours before I return to allow it to defrost. "Arrived on site for a washing machine that is going off balance. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advised they have several issues with the machine but that the unit will go off balance on every load and their lid is broken. I did confirm the customers complain and found the lid cracked and broken on the left side near the hinge. I tested the suspension and found the suspension was also shot. I ran the unit through diagnostics and found an F5 E3 (lid wont unlock), F5 E2 (lid wont lock), F0 E5 (off balance load), and F0 E3 (overload) error codes. The unit is it outside as the customer has bought a new washing machine. There were no water hook up, so I was unable to test anything else. I am ordering the lid, left hand hinge, latch assembly, and suspension for repair. The customer open the door and showed me that the upper right hand adjuster had broken causing the upper rack to lean to the right side. I went ahead and replaced both adjusters and tested the unit. "Arrived on site for a wash machine that is leaking. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit was just installed about a month ago and started leaking after two weeks. I gained access underneath and found water residue on the back wall on the left-hand side. I gained access to the back of the machine and found water dripping from the cold water valve hose. I turned off the water supply and checked the hose. I found that the installers, who installed it, had overtightened the hose in. It caused the rubber gasket to tear. I did advise the customer that he will need a new water hose for the machine. I went ahead and tested the unit using the hot water valve and filled up the basket a quarter full of water. I drained the unit and could not get the unit to leak otherwise. I did advise the customer that everything appeared to be working and operating as designed and once they get the water hose installed, they should be fine. Call complete. No parts were installed."

Arrived on site for a freezer that has a torn gasket. Inspected unit and work area. I did confirm the customer complaint and found the gasket torn on the hinge side. I went to replace the gasket and found the gasket was torn in the box. After unit drained all the water, powered off unit but now unit is continuously draining and will not start again. Attempted to cleared pressure line and still no changes. I took off the top and found the belt to be snapped in half and on the bottom of the dryer. I replaced the belt, roller, and idler pulley using the repair kit provided. "Arrived onsite for oven with no function. Upon arrival I found the display to keep flickering wait. I asked the customer if he had setup wifi. He hadn't set up wifi, I went to do a power reset for 5 minutes to see if he could access the wifi settings to get the updates required for the unit to function correctly. The unit keeps flashing the wait and the console will need to be replaced. The console provided to me was not installed as it is white and not black. The black console will need to be ordered and replaced for unit to operate as designed. I stated to the customer when the console gets replaced he will need to setup wifi. Arrived onsite for washer continuously draining. I found that when the pressure line was disconnected the drain would still continue. The control can't sense there is no water in the system and will not stop draining. I replaced the control and powered it back on. The unit no longer continously drains and is operating as designed. Arrived onsite for wet clothes qt the end of a cycle. Upon arrival customer stated it's working correctly now. I tested the unit in diagnostic mode and found no errors present. Unit completed the cycle with no issue. Customer stated her jeans was the load when they were still damp.
