Arrived on site to test unit for oven staying on when turned off. Customer explained heat coming out of the back of the unit from the vent. "MDB8959SKZ0 Arrived to inspect noise. Service test mode had F8E2 and FAE2 as the on,y stored errors and I cleared for testing. I found the automated service test mode could not be activated and when selected, the DRO showed 2h (delay) and then counted down to 1h, shutting down into standby mode at approximately the same cadence of one second per display. The machine could be immediately started in consumer mode or test mode, but would do this issue at every attempted service test mode step two. Running the machine in customer mode, I did not hear any abnormal noises and suspect a piece of debris had lodged in the pump screen assembly and had finally passed. I suspected the UI causing the incorrect service mode operation and did not have the UI on hand. In an attempt to correct the issue, I replaced the main control and found no change when reassembled and tested. I did note the vent gasket had been leaking and was severely mispositioned, allowing the entire bottom of the inner vent assembly to not contact the gasket. I placed the gasket correctly and found the issue fully resolved. Office to order the UI. No leaks observed during service. ; ordrng 1 W11414079 (UI)"

"MVWC565FW1 Arrived to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. I found the tub partially full of water, and no use had occurred since our last service. This confirmed the valves seeping and the valve assembly will be required. On the last service, I had applied penetration fluid to the wash plate/agitator bolt to ensure it could be removed for this service. I found the penetrating fluid did not work and the agitator was still completely stuck to the driveshaft. Even if the agitator was broken off, this type of machine cannot have the gear case with the agitator hub seized to the driveshaft, pass through the tub assembly. The valve assembly, basket, tub, hub assembly, hub screws, wash plate and wash plate nut will also be needed. Office to attempt authorization and contact the customer for return service. "Arrived on site to diagnose dishwasher randomly starting on its own. Tested unit and confirmed that unit had an F2E1 error for stuck key, which is likely starting the unit. Arrived on site to diagnose washer not filling and giving LoFl error. Checked codes and found F8E1. Put unit in diagnostic mode and ran cold valves and hot. Found the cold valve buzzing and barely letting any water through. Replaced cold valve to resolve. Retested and verified proper operation from all valves. Parts used - W11688995. "Arrived on site to diagnose dishwasher with burning smell coming from it. On arrival customer clarified that they had a burning smell, and that his wife had also heard noises coming from the unit. I plugged in the unit and tested. Found unit came on and ran normally, with no burning smell. I did notice that there was increased wash motor noise when it was running, but spray arms were moving and pumping fine. Due to the abnormal sound of the motor, I recommended replacement of sump and motor assembly. Customer declined and will replace the unit. Called findings into safety. Call completed."

Advised customer on findings and advised following door shut and gently pressing to ensure good contact. Explained counter tension of hinge springs that can cause a bounce out of closed switch position when the door is casually shut without following through. Pointed out slight install tension causing the propensity on the left switch only. Demonstrated findings and provided explanation of design on convection function to address concerns with meeting and maintaining temp. All checks good. No parts needed.

Removed back panel, found bake element pulling 5 amps and broil element pulling 7 amps. Checked voltage, L1-N reading 240V, L2-N reading 120V, L1-L2 reading 120V. Issue is electrical. Maintenance removed outlet and found it not wired correctly. Maintenance wired the outlet correctly. Tested unit, unit is now receiving proper voltage and is heating properly. "Arrived on site to inspect dryer not starting. Upon further inspection, I found the unit plugged in and the interior light turning on when the door is opened. I removed the terminal block cover and found the neutral wired to the ground (photo). I corrected the wiring (photo) and tested voltage and got 243V. I removed the back panel to gain access to the heater, cutoffs, fuse and thermostat. I tested all components and found the thermal fuse was open. "Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher randomly making a beeping noise. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the unit will randomly begin to make a beeping sound when not in use and the Sanitize indicator and Hi-temp Wash indicator will be lit up. They advised that they noticed that the Wash, drying, and clean indicators will be lit up but faint. Customer stated that when the unit begins to beep, they unplug it. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and tested. Unit operated as designed. I found suds in the tub after the first testing. I gained access to the interior of the door by removing the outer door panel and retested and found the dispenser is dispensing rinse aid during diagnostics. Also, I found where moisture has been building up at the top left corner near the vent/fan and the fan and vent appear to be operating as designed. I advised the customer of my findings and results of testings. I am ordering the dispenser and scheduled return service for 12/12/24. No water leaks observed during service. "Arrived on site to inspect washer not spinning out clothing. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and tested. Unit operated as designed. I checked the settings the customer has been using and what the unit has been doing and the customer described how the unit will show 1 minute on the timer and the drum is rocking back and forth. I advised the customer that the unit was attempting to go into spin cycle, but due to the load being off balance, it was unable to get the load balanced and spin. I made recommendations for use and care, as well as, detergent use. Unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed. No parts installed."

"Arrived on site to inspect range cooktop burner issues. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the front right burner was making a clicking noise and the middle burner flame is not complete. I tested the unit and found the oven is operating as designed. I tested the cooktop burners and found the burners operating as designed. I disassembled the middle burner to find some grease under the burner cap and in the gas routing ports on the burner head. I cleaned the cap and head and reassembled and tested and it continues to operate as designed. I advised the customer of the debris under the cap and demonstrated how to disassemble, clean and reassemble. I retested the front right burner and on the low flame setting, I could hear a clicking noise which was not the ignitor. I found the orifice holder dirty as well. Once I turned the burner off, I could still hear the clicking noise. I removed the burner head/cap and found the noise is coming from the cap. I found the cap is comprised of two parts compressed together and the noise is the movement of the two parts when heated. I advised the customer that the noise theyre hearing is normal due to the manufacturing of the cap and demonstrated what is happening. The unit is operating as designed. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed. No parts installed."

"Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered part. Upon arrival, I found the tenant had moved the refrigerator to the garage and it was unplugged and had been defrosted (photos) and there was water in the bottom of the FC section (photo). I cleared the water form the fc section and due to the defrost thermistor failing, I gained access to the thermistor and removed and replaced the thermistor and tested the unit in diagnostics. I found the thermistor is registering and showing good ohms values. Also tested the defrost heater and it is getting voltage and is heating up as shown in the photo in SDQuickpic. Unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed at the end of service, job completed. Unit left plugged in to allow to cool. No one available to sign for receipt/owner opened garage door from their phone. WPW10384183."

"Arrived on site for a freezer that is not cooling. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised the unit was working one day and then the lights went out and nothing has been working sense. I opened the freezer door and found no power inside of the freezer itself. I gained access to the plug and found proper voltage and polarity. I went ahead and checked in the back to make sure that all connections were connected. I went ahead and replaced the control and tested the unit. I still found the control not illuminate. I check voltage from the plug to the connector on the bottom side near the compressor and found no voltage, indicating an issue with the lower harness. Ordering a Harness in the office will need to contact the customer about a return date due to limited parts availability.; ordrng 1 W11648068 (Plug harness)"

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that has a broken agitator. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit does not have a broken agitator, but that the tub seems to be broken because it seems to be bouncing all over the place. I tested the suspension and found the suspension was good. I ran the unit through a diagnostic check and found all components working an operating as designed. I ask the customer what she meant and she advised that she is used to having a washer where the tub does not move. I did explain to the customer that this is a suspension based model and that the tub is hanging freely between the sides of the machine. I did advise if this is normal operation, and that if she is having off-balance loads, it would be uneven weight within the basket. I went over loading procedures, and the unit is working and operating as designed. Call complete. No parts were installed."

They disassembled the unit and found the rollers were fine, but the idler pulley was not. I found the idler pulley, making a squealing noise every time it rotated on the shaft. "MED5630HW2 Arrived on site for unit not drying properly. Upon arrival, proceeded to check temperature with thermocouple with exhaust vent plugged in and temperature averages at 250F. Removed vent and averaged 187F. Continued to check duct into house and found wet lint. Advised customer to call duct cleaner and clean ducts since hot air is not venting out properly and all the heat steaming air is being trapped in the dryer. Customer agreed. Unit is functioning as designed. No parts needed"
