"WTW8127LC0 Arrived to inspect washer non-operation. I found F6E3, F7EA, F7E9, F7E3 and F2E1. I tested all three of the motor circuits from the control connector and found all we at 8.8 ohms, which is very good. I found all loads tested within specifications and were not the cause of the control failure, which was only the motor driver section. Inspection of the motor assembly revealed a light amount of oil within the rotor, showing gear case failure in the beginning stages. The unit will require the control, gear case and slider. They have since power cycled and issue never returned. The console tends to lock up and results in customer having to power cycle. Advised on service pointer w11525554, which states a software update should resolve issues with console UI. Customer advised steam will cause the console to act erratically, and they need to cover anything with a high steam content to allow power operation. Assisted customer with setting up wifi and WP app, and pushed software update. Call complete."

Arrived onsite for error F21. Installed a pressure switch tested unit in diagnostics mode and did not get the F21 error. Put the unit in rinse and spin mode to see if it would error out again. It ran the whole cycle with out error F21. Told customer to use the unit and see if the error came back. No water leaks detected during service.

Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not making ice. Inspected unit and work area. Did confirm the customers complaint and found the freezer section at 13?F initially but cool down to 8?F. Ran the unit through icemaker error codes and found an E5 indicating the icemaker did not harvest within the specified time to make ice. Unplugged the unit and checked pressures. Found pressures inside the unit were only at 12 psi. I vacuumed out the unit and charged the unit with nitrogen. Found a leak at the dryer at the top where it meets the steel line. Re-braised the dryer and charged it up with nitrogen again. Did not find any leaks present. Vacuum down the unit and found the vacuum held for 15 minutes without dropping. Charge the unit back up with 56 g of R600. I plug the unit back in and found the return line heating up indicating the refrigerator cooling down. Advise the customer to keep an eye on the unit and to call back if any other issues persist. Call complete.

During initial testing, I found the system appeared to be restricted and I removed section by section of the high side and flushed with nitrogen. I was not able to determine the exact location of the restriction, but after clearing the lines, the issue was resolved. I vacuumed the system and then let it set for an additional 15 min. "Arrived on site for a cooktop that is not heating properly. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advises the issue was with her cooktop and that after the previous repair, it really has not made a difference on her unit. She advised that the issue was with all four burners not heating the way that they used to. I ran testing on all four burners using a medium heat to determine whether the elements would come on and cycle. Did confirm proper operation of all four burners. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Chris SR# 7735084889. He advised that if the unit is turning on and cycling on and off for the burners, the unit would be working as designed and that no replacement of parts would guarantee any change to the unit. He advised to make no further repairs and that the unit is working as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived on site for a washer that is not operating. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit seems to go off balance on most loads and he believes theres something wrong with the washer. Ran the unit through diagnostics and found an F0 E5 (off balance load) error code. Ran the unit through an auto test and the unit ran as designed. The customer advised that and only seems to happen when clothes are in it. He grabbed a laundry basket worth of clothes and we ran the unit in a quick wash until the clothes got soaked. We did find the unit go off balance initially but that was due to uneven loading. However, once all clothes were soaked, I then put the unit into a drain and spin and found the unit spinning and operating as designed. He advised that the issue normally happens with towels and grabbed some extra large towels. We did the same process as the previous wash cycle and found the towel spinning an operating as designed. I called whirlpool tech line and spoke to Robert SR# 7735084239. He advised that based on all my testing, the only issue would be with loading and to instruct the customer on proper procedure. He advised of the unit was the problem, it would replicate the issue with or without clothes. E said to make no repairs at this time. Call complete."

"Arrived on site for Maytag washing machine shaking. I inspected the unit and work area. I found no fault codes in diagnostics. I gained access to the gear case and tested the motor winding I found both winding at 6 ohms, I tested the capacitor and found it at 45 farads, I tested the drain pump and found it at 16 ohms, I tested the actuator motor and found it at 2.4 kohms, all is in range. I gained access to the control and retested all the components from the control, everything still showed in range. I tested the suspension and found it rising equally after being push straight down. I spun the inner basket by hand and found it rotating evenly in the center of the out tub. I tested the level of the unit and found it level. I ran a high speed spin and found the inner basket stabilizing. The unit is working as designed. Job complete."

Arrived on site for a dryer that is taking more than one cycle to dry clothes. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised the unit does heat and tumble but they are still having issues with their dryer drying the clothes. They advised they got a vent test kit from whirlpool but were unaware of how to operate it. Ran a vent test kit on the unit and found poor airflow circulation for all dryers. Removed the vent hose off the dryer and tested it again and found good airflow for all dryers. Checked the hose for any obstructions and did not find any buildup inside of the hose or at the back of the wall. Reattached the vent hose and the vent test kit read the airflow circulation was poor for all dryers again. Advise the customer that they will need to get a vent cleaning company out to clean out their ducks as they have an airflow restriction inside of the vent in their wall. The unit is working as designed. Call complete.

She advised that she would unplug the unit and when she would plug it back in that it would seemingly work but it happened twice within four cycles and she wasnt sure if there was something wrong. Ran the unit through diagnostics and did not find any stored air codes. Ran the unit through an auto test in the unit ran as designed. Went ahead and replaced the control and tested the unit. Looked on the bottom of the door and found it was never screwed on from factory. Added screws from customers extra hardware. Verified unit is working properly. Removed the ice chute plate and cleaned the ice from it. Also found frost/ice built up on the ice maker housing and cleaned it off. Tested the ice door and found it not sealing properly and had water around the seal. I removed and replaced the ice door assembly and tested and it is operating/sealing as designed. I recommended that the customer remove the ice bin at least 1 time per week and clean it with hot water and allow it to air dry before placing it back in its space in the door. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived on site to diagnose a dishwasher that is not drying properly. Tested all parts and components and found no failures to unit at this time. Advised customer on findings and best cycles and options for best performance. No leaks were found at time of service.

"Arrived on site to inspect microwave door not closing. Upon further inspection, the customer advised the unit door closes fine, but when they use it, the unit makes a loud moaning noise. Using a cup of water and my microwave tester, I tested the unit for one minute and could not duplicate the noise. Customer advised when they hear the noise, they press on the door and the noise stops. I tested the unit several times with my tester and a cup of water and could not duplicate the noise. I tightened the mounting screws in the cabinet above thinking maybe the unit was vibrating due to the screws not being tightened/secured and retested and still could not duplicate the noise. I recommended the customer take a video of the noise should it happen again and call the unit in for service. No repairs needed at this time as unit is operating as designed. Job completed."
