"WTW4855HW3 Arrived to inspect washer not working. Discussion with construction contact advised the machine was actually in 9313, as there is no 9315 within the property. I found the machine with the slow and steady blinking sensing LED and no other functions or operations could be activated. The long-press reset worked to clear the stuck state and I calibrated the control. Testing within automatic and manual test modes showed the machine fully operational at that point, and customer mode, abbreviated cycles worked as well. If the condition persists, the machine will require the control to be replaced. No leaks observed during service."

"WTW6157PW0 Arrived to inspect non-completion of cycle possible water delivery issues. The machine had F2E3 as the only stored error and I cleared for testing. I found the machine operated as expected within service test mode and no apparent issues were found. Inspection under the machine showed this was the updated model with the motor cover. Removal of the motor cover revealed the gear case had failed and there was a significant amount of oil within the cover. Removal of the wash plate showed the cause of the failure to be debris wrapping on the inner driveshaft, causing the seal to fail and water incursion into the gear case assembly. I find the error code was extremely likely to have been caused by the excessive current required to rotate the assembly, and is common,y found with this failure. The customer had contacted the consumer assistance line for the MFG and had been given some incorrect information about venting of this model. The customer was advised of external venting and I corrected the information and verified there is not any external venting of this model and the steam that occurs, is normal. I tested all functions from within service test mode and found all cooling fans for the oven and microwave operational and other items operating as designed, with no stored error codes present. Upon arrival, the customer had been running a test cycle at 375 so I took the temperature and it measured accurate however, I found that the bake is not igniting properly and takes about 5 pulses from the igniter to ignite. Since the oven was at operating temperature. I was not able to access the components in the cavity but I placed the unit into diagnostics and checked the status of the temperature sensor. I observed that the sensor was not reading the correct temperature. "WFG505M0BS3 Arrived to inspect odor when using the oven and debris within door glass. I found a prior servicer had apparently replaced the igniter and it was out of place severely, and not within the flame kernel as designed. I was able to correct the igniter position and tested. The air shutter was incorrectly set, allowing too much airflow and creating a lean-condition flame. I adjusted the air shutter and tested. The oven door handle was very loose and due to potential hazard of glass breakage, I disassembled the oven door and corrected, removing internal glass debris as well. The unit operated and cycled as designed. I noted the anti-tip device was found within the broiler area and advised the customer of its purpose and that an installer or other service equipped to bore into concrete would be required to install the device. I cleared the code and continued with testing and unit operated as designed. While testing, I checked the amp draw to the element with my multimeter and found the element getting 7-9amps during the wash and drying cycles of diagnostics which is within range of specifications. At the end of testing, I demonstrated to the customer that the element is working by pouring water into the element and it sizzled and steam was made. I was able to correct the routing, ensuring correct routing and verified no permanent damage had been done. The unit resumed normal functions and no gas leaks were detected during service."

"KRFC704FPS06 Arrived to inspect temperature issues. The interior temperatures were elevated, the RC was 44 and the FC was 10, with settings of 37 and 0, the recommended temperatures for this model. I found very elevated temperatures around the machine, within the confines of the tightly fitted cabinetry that was preventing cool airflow of the rear condenser cooling design. The condenser discharge temperature was highly elevated and measured at 102F and should have been only several degrees above ambient on this efficient design. Adjacent condenser areas were just under, at 98F and the wall behind the machine was 97F. The air divider was missing and appeared to have never been installed during manufacture. I advised the customer of my findings and we will return with the air dividers and correct as required. The machine must set forward of the back wall of its installation area, by three to four inches and the divider, as designed, cannot do its job of preventing hot air circulation within the cool air intake side and modification will be required. The right RC door gasket was torn as well, and will require replacement. The customer advise of the unit just completely stopped eating all together and they have tried multiple times to try to get it to work. I put a glass of water inside the microwave and found the unit meeting the first try. I poured out the glass and put more water in it to verify and found the unit not heating six times in a row. I gained access to the side compartment and replaced passenger and diode and tested the unit. I still could not get the unit to heat. I checked continuity through the Magnatron thermostat. I found it showing continuity. I spoke to SW, and was advised to order the transformer, interlock, and control. Arrived onsite for oven with no function. Upon arrival I noticed the oven didn't have power at all. I found the breaker tripped. I flipped the breaker on and tested the machine. The unit tripped about 15 seconds in the bake cycle. I went to turn the breaker on again and it tripped immediately. I found wiring to be good on the oven. I found a loose ground wire but was still tripping after securing. I suspect the breaker has gone bad. I advised the customer to have the builder change it out and if it's still tripping to have us come back out. Call complete. No parts installed.

Arrived onsite for dishwasher not completing cycles. Upon arrival I found a F4E3 Wash motor failure present. I ran a diagnostic cycle and heard the wash motor trying to start but just clicking. I replaced the pump and motor and tested the unit. The unit is now completing cycles as designed. No other error codes present at time of service. No water leaks present at time of service. Call complete. Installed W11613479 pump & motor.

Arrived onsite and found unit door switch faulty and opening closing with no stimulus while door was shut during preheat. Door is properly shut and door hinges are normative. "Arrived onsite for repeat frosting, found unit unplugged and at 45f in the cabinet. No visible ice. Checked compressor compartment for drip tray and drain tube seal and alignment and found everything properly sealed and installed around the drain tube. No blockage. Exposed evap and found evidence that the unit had not been thoroughly defrosted following the control replacement. Used steamer and blower to melt the ice on the evap and blow the moisture out of the fridge. Replaced freezer evap thermistor and cabinet thermistor. Advised customer on the repair. "Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed part. Inspected unit and work area. I replaced the housing assembly and tested the unit with the filter. I still found at the filter was not allowing water to blow through the dispenser freely. I called whirlpool tech line and spoke to Joe SR# 7740003380. He had me ask the customer if they were on a water filtration system or a water softener. They advised they were not. He advised that at that point, we have replaced everything on the machine side that can be causing this issue, and that her issue it would have to be with the filter itself. He advised me to tell the customer to make sure that she is using the every drop filters and not any offbrand filters. The unit is working and operating as designed. Call complete. W11266112."

"Arrived on site to test unit for not advancing in the cycle. Upon arrival customer stated unit will not drain and spin, always stops the cycle before that point. Ran diagnostic cycle, found when unit is supposed to spin the basket does not move. Tried to manually spin it and found it has a lot of resistance. Removed tub ring and inspected internals, found an article of clothing lodged between the basket and the tub preventing unit from spinning. Removed clothing and tested unit, all components are properly engaging and unit is now running as designed, no leaks detected, no parts installed, job complete."

"Arrived on site to test unit for not draining. Upon arrival customer stated they were doing a cycle and unit stopped operating, latched the lid and would not respond to inputs. Inspected under the unit, when moving the drain pump wire drain pump automatically engaged indicating a broken wire in the harness. Located the broken wire and repaired with a butt splice. Tested unit, drain pump is now operating properly. When running diagnostic cycle, noticed basket did not disengage during agitation. Unit is not shifting properly. Removed pulley cover and inspected cam, found cam has melted. Failed to bring cam with parts, replaced cam (W10721967) from truck stock, and replaced shift actuator (W11481722) as precautionary. Tested unit, unit is now running as designed, no leaks detected, job complete."

When activating valve found the water being redirected to high up causing water to hit the lid, then flow between the lid and the cabin down the front of the unit. Replaced valve (W11595805) and control (W11621180) as precautionary. Tested unit, all components are properly engaging and unit is now running as designed, no leaks detected, job complete."

"Arrived on site to test unit for not making ice. Upon arrival customer stated unit is making very little and very thin ice. Ran diagnostic cycle, found valve, recirculating pump and drain pump engaging properly. When calling for cool compressor did not engage. Bin thermistor is also not reading properly. Removed unit from cavity and noticed a lot of heat coming from the compressor compartment, condenser fan engaged properly. Powered unit down, removed rear cover and let most heat escape. After a few minutes, powered the unit back up and started a cycle. Compressor kicked on and was pulling 3.2 amps. Unit formed a thick ice slab and released it from the plate onto the grid cutter and cut the cubes properly. Reinstalled unit and ran another cycle, ice slab produced is noticeably thinner by half. Compartment is producing too much heat causing compressor to kick out on thermal. Inspected in front of the condenser coil and noticed foam divider is not in its correct area which may be causing that compartment to overheat. Slid foam divider into manufacture recommended location. Replaced bin thermistor (WPW10511923). All components are now properly engaging. Advised customer if issue returns then to call the office. Sealed system repair may be required. Unit is running as designed, no leaks detected, job complete."
