Arrived on site for a cooktop that is not cooking evenly on all burners. Confirm the customers complaint and found two burners not heating correctly. I found the bigger burner was not letting enough gas through and was really really low and the smaller burner was releasing too much flames. Check the orfices and Found the orfices had been swapped accidentally. Fixed the orifice placements and test of the unit again. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site to follow up on washer that continues to trip breaker on GFCI outlet. On arrival checked unit for error codes. Found no codes present. Called tech line and spoke with Bruce. Bruce had me check again for voltage from neutral to ground. Found no voltage present. Measured Amp draw during a diagnostic cycle, drain and spin, and also rinse and spin cycle. Voltage did not drop, and Amp draw peaked at 7.2 amps during agitate direction reversal. Customer had run the unit to another outlet as well to see if it would complete cycles. They showed me a picture of an F8E1 error that popped up when it was on the extension cord and outlet. Customer also informed me the unit had shut off during 1 cycle, and had powered off after they had paused it, and had difficulty unlocking several times. I tried to recreate these failures but was not able to verify them. Tech Line said to check the drain for the F8E1 error, as a siphon can also cause that. I did find the drain stuck over a foot into the standpipe, with at least 4-6+ inches submerged. Adjusted the to proper levels. I also advised to have the customer download the whirlpool app to push any software updates. At this time i could not recreate any of the failures found, and breaker was tripped. Since unit is testing good, issue appears to be related to the breaker and electrical in terms of the breaker tripping. Corrected drain length and software updates should assist with any other concerns. At this time unit appears to be working as designed with no further action or repair recommended, and to have an electrician address the breaker. Tech Line case SR77344978705. Call completed."

I found the basket assy to the right and far back in the cabinet, nearly contacting both at rest and a likely contributing factor to the customers complaint. Further inspection revealed the gear case in the early stages of seal failure and oil was beginning to pool in the rotor area. I removed and replaced the gear case, rotor and slider and re-calibrated the unit. Post gear case testing showed the unit operating as designed. I coached the customer on detergent type and amount. The customer advised about a week ago, the unit was in the middle of a cycle and completely shut down. Advised about 15 minutes later it turned itself back on and continue to finish the cycle. I ran the unit through diagnostics and did not find any stored air codes. Ran the unit through an auto test in the unit ran as designed. Checked polarity at the wall and found that the hot and the neutral had been reversed. Explain to customer that the most likely cause of their issue is with their electrical supply due to improper voltage being sent to the wrong places. I installed the front rollers for the unit and then when able to remove it, found the compressor operable, but only drawing .6 amps after it ran for 5 minutes. High side discharge at the compressor was 123?F and had /// to 107? at the entry to the condenser. At the left side of the first row, the temperature was down to 91?. I recovered the system and replaced the compressor, service port and dryer. I charged with the MFG prescribed refrigerant charge and tested. During final leak testing, a very small amount of bubbles formed at the evaporator return section and will need to be replaced. "Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that seems to be running a lot more than usual. I found the customer had the temps set at 37 degrees in the RC and 2 degrees in the FC. I found the ice bin full. I found the FC temp dropping to -6 degrees and still cooling. I found the FC thermistor resistance at 24.65 Kohms registering -1. The UI has digits missing and I explained to the customer that this can be an issue also. I did find the center of the condenser coil partially packed in dust and hair and it will take compressed air to blow the coil out. I inspected the orifices and found the simmer orifice was incorrect. I changed the orifice and retested and the burner continued to malfunction. Per service pointer #W10540279-A, I am ordering the burner head and also ordering the correct dual burner valve and orifice holder. Office to schedule return service. Arrived on site to continue diagnosing the fridge. I found the Evaporator drain clear. I tried to run a wired through the return vent from the fridge to freezer. I found the vents blocked off from insulation collapsing from to much ice build up. I spoke to the customer about the fridge. Job complete.

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator with water in the freezer bottom. Upon further inspection, I found water in the bottom of the fresh foods section. Also found the fresh foods evaporator drip pan badly bowed, the deli control not operating and the customer advised they have seen ice built up on the fresh foods evaporator cover. I inspected the deli control and it was dry. I inspected the deli harness and found the brown wire broken. I explained to the customer that the unit is in the beginning stages of malfunctioning. I explained that the unit has the damaged wire harness which will eventually lead to cooling issue, which theyve already experienced with the fresh foods evaporator freezing up. I provided a disclaimer written by management and recommended they not proceed with repairs due to it not being cost effective. The unit is currently cooling properly, but the deli control is not working due to the harness being damaged.

I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F3E2-water temp fault. I cleared the error code and removed the console to access the inlet valve and found the valve leaking at the sensor. Continued with testing and when the water began to dispense, I found water leaking from the sensor seal. I removed and replaced the valve and calibrated the unit. "Arrived on site to inspect microwave open/close door error. Upon further inspection, I tested the unit and when I closed the door and pressed start, the unit failed to turn on and the display show the error code I removed and replaced the upper and lower interlock with switches and retested and unit is operating as designed. Arrived onsite ice maker not getting water. Upon arrival inspected unit. Found ice maker failed and was not calling for water. Replaced ice maker and tested unit is now harvesting and calling for water. Customer to allow 12-24 hrs for ice to produce. Job complete

"Arrived on site to inspect microwave with a fire inside. Upon further inspection, the customer opened the unit door and said fire came out of the side. I found a burn mark on the right side just above the wave guide cover (photo). the magnetron is damaged and has damaged the wave guide.I recommended that the customer not use the unit and have it replaced. Arrived onsite for a oven microwave combo that the microwave will not heat. The model and serial number tag has been partially removed. I tested the unit and found the magnetron humming loudly. The unit has a high voltage system issue. I got with the other members of the service team and there is no way to narrow this unit down to the exact model because there are multiple engineering codes. I had advised the customer if we could not narrow down the model then to call GE directly and see if the unit was ever registered under the address or see if they could send a GE tech out to verify what the model of the unit is. Call complete.

Arrived onsite for a dryer making a loud squealing noise at random times. I couldnt duplicate the noise but I disassembled the unit and found the idler puller almost locked up. I replaced the idler bracket and vacuumed out the chassis. The dryer is working as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived onsite for no cooling. Upon arrival Compressor is running but there is zero frost on evaporator. Found pantry drawer harness unplugged and hanging beneath drawer. Will need sealed system repair, compressor, access valve, UV drier, evaporator drain pan, Pantry harness, pantry UI. Freezer led is out. Need to order and replace #2 Power supply control, #27 led power supply , #5 control board , #40 side adapter harness, #19 evaporator drip drain pan. #2 door UI. Freezer led covered under S191AQ, and sealed system will be covered by whirlpool.

Arrived onsite for PUSH START BUTTON WILL NOT ALWAYS WORK AND START A CYCLE . Upon arrival inspected unit and found start button off of console. Saw sensing button stuck flashing. Held the start button down to reset control. Control reset and am able to get into diagnostics. On diagnostics ran manual cycle and all components operate correctly. Ran automatic cycle and unit operates correctly. Test unit by running a normal cycle and unit is operating as designed. No leaks present at this time. Job complete
