"MVW7230HC0 Arrived to inspect noise and non-completion of cycle. The customer presented a video and a loud chatter could be heard. Service test mode showed F6E3 as the only stored error code. I found the gear case had failed and there was evidence of oil fling in the motor area. The rotor bolt was also missing. I removed and replaced the gear case and slider and replaced. I calibrated the unit and tested. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service."

Arrived on site to test unit for unit tripping breaker. Found that unit is only tripping breaker when oven and burner are on at the same time. Test unit and unit test good no shorts on it at all. Found gfci breaker connected to range and dryer. Customer said when she put a heavy load in the dryer it tripped the breaker as well. Spoke with Ruben the builder about the manufacture not recommending the appliance on a GFCI breaker. Job complete.

Arrived on site for washer making noise. Talking with the maintenance man he said that it was walking during the spin cycle. I ran the unit on spin empty and it was shaking. "Arrived on site to diagnose washer that doesn't seem to be fully spinning out clothes. Checked for errors and found none present. When I ran a diag cycle NO FUNCTIONS were working. Lights would act like it's moving, but nothing was happening. I power cycled and tried again. This time unit performed a full service cycle, but wouldn't do anything again after that. I had to keep cycling power to get the unit to work. I was able to get the unit to do a couple test cycles and I found no failures mechanically, just the control. Ordered control. Office to schedule return visit due to location of part.

While attempting to get the gasket to set in the adhesive, the gasket slipped and spread the adhesive on the door and could not be removed. I advised the customer of the issue and am ordering another inner door panel, gasket and adhesive and scheduled return service for 03/22/23. Customer requested after 10AM. "Arrived on site to inspect washer overflowing with water and flooding home. Upon further inspection, I found the tub completely full of water. I set the timer to spin and the unit began to drain the water from the tub. Once I had the water drained, I tested the unit on Regular wash with a Large load setting. The unit filled and began to wash as designed. I inspected the valve, sensors, sensor tubing and drain/hoses and found no signs of a water leak. I blew through the sensor tubing and monitored the air dome and found no signs of a leak and no debris. I removed the tub ring and inspected the outer portion of the tub and found a large amount of debris which looked like the customer had washed a shaggy rug. Customer confirmed that they had. I pointed out the debris I found and recommended they clean the unit with a washer cleaner. While I head the tub ring off, I cleaned the debris from it for the customer

While testing, I tested amp draw to the components and found the heating element showing 7-9amps during wash & drying cycles of diagnostics. I contacted techline and spoke to Andy and advised of the complaint and my findings. Arrived onsite for refrigerator leaking water. Customer said that they just plugged it back and was talking about a noise in the lower RC. Told customer it could have been a ice buildup on the evap unit but since it was unplugged for awhile it probably defrosted. The doors could not be leveled because the right back area is not level. I pulled the unit out I was able to level it. Informed the customer that a wedge needs to be put on the right back wheel. Customer said it was leaking water form the right corner of the ice dispenser but no water was found in the drip tray. Told the customer to make a video of the water leak. No water leaks detected during service.

Ran it through diagnostics on both ovens and only found one error code on the left side oven indicating an F6 E4 (ACU/UI mismatch) error code. Per the text sheet, was advised to Lear the ode and power cycle the unit. It advised to check to see if the error persisted within 10 to 15 minutes. Over the course of 45 minutes, was unable to replicate the issue again. It advised that if the air did not appear again the issue had been resolved. The customer also complained about the right oven door not being a soft-close door. I did not see anything on the text sheet advising about the right hand door being a soft close door. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Brandon SR# 7735947132. He advised that the right hand door is just a normal oven door and that the left-hand door is the only soft close door on this unit. Advice to make no further repairs. Call complete."

"WFG975H0HZ1 Arrived to inspect clicking and gas odor. Upon initial discussion with the customer, they told me the odor they thought was potentially gas, was actually another chemical used within the home on an unrelated item and had figured that out prior to our arrival. There was also concern of a clicking noise. I tested the unit through a 350?F bake to ensure operation and it heated and cycled as designed with the following temperatures: initial preheat claimed at 374 and climbed to 385 before cycling off, which is expected. Cycling temperatures were 349, 387, 346, 384, 343, 382. The average being nearly 15? too warm, I discussed with the customer and set it at -10 and provided instruction on how to change if needed. The prior low temperature-use clicking did not come back and all operations were normal and as expected. The sound heard was the ticking from the normal expansion and contraction heard through the baking cycle and I advised the customer it is normal. The unit ignited every time on the first audible spark. No gas leaks detected during service. Per service notes, I contacted the MFG Safety line hand reported my findings. MfrRef # 7735908817"

Upon further inspection, I found the RC lights not turning on when the doo is open and the open door indicator staying on after the doors have been closed. I cycled power to the unit and found that the controls had not been reset at the previous repair. Also, I found digits missing or fading on the UI. I removed and replaced the UI and retested the unit and it is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived onsite for a dishwasher that leaks water at the front left corner. I pulled the machine out and checked the rails and looked for water trails finding none. I ran the diagnostics cycle and found a couple of drops of water dripped from the left side under the door. I found the door seal leaking at the top left corner and water running down the door jamb and dripping. I replaced the door gasket and retested. The dishwasher no longer leaked. The unit is working as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived onsite for a oven that is having Internet issues where the royal function would turn itself off, and the unit would be on its own with no one pushing buttons. Upon arrival I I put unit into broil and monitored it for about 15 minutes and found no issues through speaking with customer. He said he usually starts beeping after dinner and after they cleaned the unit I performed a few more tests and cannot get the feeling to happen due to the units intermittent behavior I replace to the control and advise the customer to be careful when cleaning the unit if they are using soap and water to keep moisture/water away from the keypad as best as they possible we can. Job complete."
