Arrived on site to diagnose dishwasher that is leaking. On arrival customer said unit is leaking out the front left corner. I reseated the manifold pipe to ensure a strong seal. Found a 3 inch segment of calcium / side buildup on the left side of the door seal as well. Replaced door seal. Ran unit with front panel off and didn't see any leaking. I did see Sud buildup to the top of the lip on the floor pan. Recommended customer run some affresh in the unit to remove Sud buildup. Unit does not appear to be leaking at this time. Repair completed.

"KRSC503ESS01 Arrived to inspect no cool. I found the refrigerator at room temperature and the compressor was running, with no signs of dye anywhere accessible. The system showed no pressures on either low or high sides. Interestingly, the compressor did not make any difference in pressures, at atmosphere, or with 20 psi of N added, denoting complete failure of the replacement compressor. I stopped the compressor and added an additional 80 psi of N, noting a substantial leak of 5 psi in about one minute and inspected. There was a fracture at the RC evaporator, low side joint and further inspection revealed the lightest misting of UV dye had occurred, but only visible in a fully darkened chamber. I brazed the fracture closed and removed and replaced the compressor, service port and drier. I noted the high side vacuum test pulled low side vacuum extremely slowly, and allowed the system to vacuum. The system would only pull down to the mid 500s micron range, and that being too high I inspected. The vacuum quickly rose into the 1K-2K micron range when the vacuum pump was shut off. I found a partial restriction within the yoder loop and brazed service ports to test for a leak. During testing and pressurization, I found an large amount of extremely fine rust powder had plugged the yoder and was impossible to flush out. The tech line was closed and I will report the following business day. No leaks observed during service."

KUIX535HPS00 Arrived to inspect no ice production and noise. I found the circulation pump had failed and rotor had broken free of the impeller. I removed and replaced the circulation pump and tested. Confirm the customers complaint and found the code flashing immediately upon arrival. I attempted to clear the code, but found it immediately popped back up when canceling the cycle. Checked underneath the unit and found the float switch properly engaged underneath with no water impeding the float switch. Turned off the unit and replaced the float switch.

Upon further inspection, I found a small amount of ice in the bin and the ice maker tray had water in it as it had just harvested a tray of ice. I tested the water dispenser and it dispensed water, but at a very slow rate. Tenant did not know when the filter was last replaced. I recommended replacing the filter and attempted to contact the landlord and left a message for them to return my call to our office.

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker not working. Upon further inspection, I tested temps in the FC section=9 degrees. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested the ice maker in test 56 and found no error codes. Tested in test 57 and the ice maker harvested as designed. I tested the fill tube in test 45 and it filled the tray. Tested the emitter/receiver boards in test 15 and it passed. I tested the ice maker thermistor and fan and both passed. While testing, I found the UI not signaling when I pressed on the keys. I advised the customer that the UI is possible in the beginning stages of failure. Customer advised that they have been in and out of the freezer section getting ice packs frequently. I advised that opening and closing the freezer door could impact the ice maker as the temperature in the freezer will get too high and the ice maker wont harvest. I recommended they keep the unit doors closed as long as possible and monitor the unit. I explained the disclaimer from management regarding the issues weve been experiencing with his unit and no repairs have solved the issues.

Error mode showed E5 and I tested the thermistor, which was within 1% of the actual ice maker mold temperature, verified via thermography. The voltage line was also well within expected value and test 57 passes and operated as expected. Due to the erratic nature of the issue, I removed and replaced the ice maker and re-tested. The unit showed E0 and I advised the customer to contact us if issues persist. All functions were present and the ice maker filled as designed. No leaks observed during service."

Arrived onsite for washer making noise. On inspection I but the unit in diagnostics mode and it had a rubbing noise during agitation cycle and spin cycle. I flipped and the pulley cover was not installed and the pulley was rubbing on it I also noticed the belt was all the way up rubbing on the motor case. I fixed the belt and I assume the customer if the company but a new gear case in. He said he pretty sure they put a gear case. Knowing I calibrated the unit and then ran it diagnostics mode and the rubbing noise was gone. I then put 2 small blankets in the unit and ran the rinse and spin to see if it would make any other noise. Had no issue. I think the other company never calibrated the unit and it was making a grinding noise when going from agitate and spin cycle. After calibration it never made the noise again. The unit is operating as designed. No water leaks detected during service.

Upon further inspection, I found the ice bin full of ice and I attempted to dispense cubed and crushed ice and the unit failed and was very loud. I found a rag that had gotten caught in the separator arm and solenoid (photo). I attempted to remove the rag but it kept tearing as I pulled on it. Using my steamer, I sprayed the steam on the rag and loosened it up and was able to remove the ice bin and then removed the remaining pieces of the rag. I placed the ice bin back in its space and tested and the unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived onsite and found long drain f9 error. Advised customer on findings and cleared drain to repair. Advised customer on repair. No parts needed. All checks good.

"Arrived onsite for unit scraping. Replaced heating element, rear bulkhead, heater duct and rear drum seal. Reassembled and tested. Unit started fine but about 3-5 minutes into the cycle the unit began scraping again. Called techline. Derek SR#7736546030. Notified tech of work done. Tech did not have recommendations at this time and referred to engineering. Emailed techline videos of issues. Engineering will respond within 3-5 business days."

Arrived on site for error codes and stys locked. Upon arrival ran diagnostics and got error code F9-E1 long drain. Ran loads test to force drain and drain pump is making a grinding sound. Need to replace drain pump. Replaced drain pump and test unit. Unit is operating as designed. No leaks present at this time. Job complete

Arrived on site for not cooling. Upon arrival customer stated that unit was not installed correctly and has used shims to level unit. Took pic of shims and slight floor damage and uploaded to SD. Upon arrival inspected unit and entire evaporator is covered in ice. Ran diagnostics and forced heaters. Heater is not energizing. Removed all ice with blower and steamer. Found harness was not secured to heater. Secured connections and test heater. Heater is receiving 120 from control. Is pulling correct amperage and has correct resistance. Unit is operating as designed. Job complete
