"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not making ice. Inspected unit and work area. The customer stated that after the previous repair, the ice maker did not produce a single batch of ice for 5 days. They explained that only yesterday it started making ice fairly consistently. I checked the ice container and found a half a bin full of ice. I ran the unit through diagnostics and found all tests pass. I found no stroed ice maker error codes. I took a temperature of the freezer and refrigerator sections. I found the freezer at six degrees fahrenheit and continuing to cool. I found the refrigerator at thirty six degrees fahrenheit. He advised that the issue may have been resolved, but based on the customers description, the issue would have to be with the user interface. "Arrived on site to follow up on dishwasher not running cycles. I checked for errors and found F7E1 error and F10E2. I ran unit in diagnostic mode and found unit would fill and drain fine, but wash motor would not kick in until partway into step 3, and not at all in customer mode. Removed the wash motor from the unit and pulled the screen/housing. Found it completely clogged with 1/3 inch of debris and gunk, causing the entire wash motor to lock up. Cleaned out and reassembled. Tested unit and verified unit started spraying and washing with no further issues. During course of repair I found nothing related to or failures with the inlet assembly and did not replace it. Everything working as designed. Repair completed. I found NO water leaks after replacing the wash motor, but I did strongly caution the customer to double check for leaks when using the unit and let us know if a leak develops from the wash motor. Checked temps and found temp had dropped below 3 degrees by service completion. Talked to customer who said they have had no performance or cooling issues at all, and everything has been fine. I removed the frost on the cover and advised customer to monitor the unit and let us know if that formation both comes back / if cooling diminishes, and if so we can look into repair as potential sealed system issues. Per GC the noise is happening during the deceleration of an agitation spin which is consistent with a failed internal bearing. Replaced gear case (W11449841) and ran a calibration cycle successfully. "Arrived onsite for washer making grinding noise. Upon arrival i found all functions to work except the agitate. I inspected the gearcase and found no oil present. When attempting to pull off the cam i found the cam not wanting to pull off. I had to use a hammer to break it off and found the cam had melted into the shaft of the gearcase. When attempting to replace the gearcase i found the washplate not to come off indicating the washplate has melted to the shaft of the gearcase as well. Unit is requiring a full rebuild due to all the issues that occurred. Told maintenance they will need to make the unit accessible for rebuild. "Arrived on site to inspect oven tripping breaker while in standby mode. Upon further inspection I placed the unit into diagnostics and observed no error codes. I gained access to the back of the unit and tested incoming voltage. Incoming voltage on L1 measured 123.6 VAC. L2 measured 123.5 L1 to L2, measured 247.4. N TO Ground was .063 VAC. I then checked all voltage checks under load and there were no issue with the voltage. "Arrived on site to insect dryer not heating. Upon further inspection, I verified proper voltage at the terminal block. I gained access to the rear of the unit and found that hi limit thermostat was open. I replaced the thermostat and tested the unit. I found that the other thermostats and heating element are operating as designed however, the dryer is getting to hot due to poor airflow. I ran an airflow test and found that the vent is restricted (photo). I measured the airflow test again with the vent removed, and the airflow is good. The customer will need to have their vent and cap inspected or clearned so that the dryer can operate without overheating and blowing fuses. I advised the customer of my findings. 279816"

Arrived on site for all 5 igniter coming on at the same time sparking. Tested unit found all burners igniting correctly. Let customer know this is a sefty feature and per designed. Customer also stated flames to high on simmer adjusted flames per customer request. Unit is now running as designed no parts used job complete.

"Arrived on site to test unit for noise. Tested unit, noise immediately began when blower fan was engaged. Constant tapping noise. Removed blower and found foil tape was not flattened causing a piece to stick out to far and the blower fan blade to constantly hit it. Taped down all the foil tape and reinstalled, tested unit, noise has been eliminated. Builder not onsite for signature. Unit is now running as designed, no parts installed, job complete."

"Arrived on site to test unit for no power, tested unit found no incoming voltage, inspected breaker and found that it was tripped, reset breaker all functions returned to normal, advised customer that if breaker trips more frequently then the breaker will need to be replaced, at this time job complete no parts installed"

"Arrived on site to follow up on sealed system repair. Tapped system and found pressure present. Removed compressor and drier. Noticed excessive flame on the suction line when removing. Installed a new drier and pressurized system to blow out any possible contamination. Found minor amount of oil in the suction side. Ran nitrogen through line to remove oil. Installed new compressor and nitrogen tested for leaks. Found none. Vacuumed down for extended period to remove any final contamination. Charged system to spec. Tested unit and verified compressor comes on and cooling has already begun. Unit working as designed. Parts used - W11574734, WPW10143759, W11506635."

Arrived onsite for concerns about fridge doors not auto closing. Inspected and found unit is operating with8nndesign specifications. Lubricated the million catch with synthetic grease and advised customer that there is no auto close cam feature in the fridge door hinges. Customer dissatisfied with product. Reported findings to whirlpool techline and advised the customer to take their concerns up with whirlpool customer care and Costco customer service. Sr#7740660468 spoke with Adrian.

"Arrived on site to test unit for leak. Upon arrival customer stated unit will leak a little water every cycle. Tested unit, found valve is clogged with debris and the nozzle is calcified, redirecting the stream of water into the door, leaking down into the cabinet and eventually onto the floor. Replaced nozzle and valve (W11267102) and tested unit, unit is now running as designed. Customer also had a concern of long dry times, ran a vent test and found the venting completely restricted. Advised customer to contact builder to further diagnose issue with the venting. No leaks detected, job complete."

Arrived on-site for dishwasher with no function. I found the dishwasher was turned off by the kill switch. I also found the dishwasher not to light up any cycles and the only function that worked was drain. I replaced the panel and tested the unit. Unit now runs cycles and washes as designed. No water leaks present. Call complete. Installed WPW10142945 CONTROL PANEL.

"Arrived on site to test unit for burning smell. Upon arrival customer stated unit began smelling like something electrical is burning. Would happen after about 4 cycles. Unit is receiving proper voltage. Inspected harness, found no loose connections or any evidence of a short or arcing, no broken wires. Heater has no damage and no melting plastic inside the tub. Inspected control board area, no burn spots or melted wiring. Ran multiple diagnostic cycles while inspecting unit, could not mimic smell or spot any potential causes of a burning smell. Advised customer to run a few cycles and monitor, if smell returns advised to leave in a failed state and contact the office. At this time unit is running as designed, no leaks detected, no parts installed, job complete."

"Arrived on site to test unit for burning smell. Upon arrival customer stated unit has a burning smell during a cycle and there was some smoke that came out from the inside of the unit. Unit is receiving proper voltage and has correct polarity. Ran a cycle, noticed a slight smell but no smoke. Removed heating element and found some lint built up on the frame. Removed lint and ran a cycle, smell is starting to subside. Also noticed unit does not have a vent hose connected to the venting outside. Contacted SAFETY to document SR#7740544047, per SAFETY no parts would be covered. Advised customer to get a vent hose installed so the unit can vent out properly. At this time unit is running as designed, no parts installed, job complete."

"Arrived on site to replace previously diagnosed hinge assembly, customer stated that hinges were already replaced but did not fix the issue, inspected and found stop not allowing the door to close properly, a new stop would not fix the issue, found the spot that is rubbing, used grinder and removed 1/16 and rounded edges, installed stop back into place and tested, door is now closing properly, customer tested and was satisfied with the results, unit is now running as designed, job complete no parts installed"

Inspected ice door gasket and found it not sealing properly causing ice to melt into the drip pan and create a continuous flow of rust. Customer also had concerns of FC bins not working properly. Found upper pan has broken wheels not allowing the pan to stay attached properly. Will need to order parts pertaining to these issues. "Arrived on site to test unit for no power. Upon arrival tested voltage, found no voltage going to the unit. Reset breaker and applied power to unit, breaker immediately tripped. Found neutral terminal is making contact with L2 terminal at the terminal block causing breaker to immediately trip. Adjusted wires at the terminal block, reset breaker and applied power. Unit powered up properly. Tested unit, all components are engaging and unit is now running as designed, no parts installed, job complete."

Arrived on site for washer flashing f3e1. Water level sensor fault. Removed top panel. Found pressure switch just hanging. Removed and blew through hose. Hose is clear. Arrived on site for moldy door bellow . Found excessive molding of bellow and looked like some cracking at edges . Replaced bellow W11106747. Ran diagnostics wash . All checked normal. No water leaks detected at time of service. Job complete

Arrived on-site for dishwasher door not closing correctly. I pulled the unit out and found the right hand spring to be broken and the left hand spring to have less tension. I replaced both spring and unit opens and closes as designed. The unit door also doesn't fall down as before. No water leaks present. Call complete. Installed WPW10337934 SPRINGS X2.

Arrived on site to repair pre diagnosed front left stripped support. Made repair leg and unit are functioning properly.

"WMH32519HZ09 Arrived on site for a otr microwave, making sparking sounds on top right side. I tested product is heating sounds are coming for the diode and capacitor from grease build up. I called Whirlpool Safety, they notified me that repair will not be covered due to the client not cleaning the unit as needed. The diagnostic visit is covered.
