Upon arrival I attempted a ice harvest test and found that it would not harvest properly the ice maker motor would rotate but it would dump the ice and the motor sounded like it was missing teeth on its gear. I then checked the fill tube and found no ice or any obstructions in it. I installed new ice maker and tested unit and found unit operating as designed.

Customer agreed to,the repair and I removed and replaced the microwave main control and retested and the unit began to operate and stopped and showed the error code F1E5 again. Talked with the Brother in law he said that when they set it to 400? it went back to 100?. Infiltration the customer that once you set the temperature that the digital temperature read out on the oven switches to 100? displayed on the oven. It stay there until the oven reach over 100? then temperature starts to rise on the digital display and will stop at selected temperature.

Customer advised that the unit stopped operating completely appropriately one week ago and came back on on its own. Using my microwave tester, I tested the unit for 30 seconds and it operated as designed. I removed the control panel and inspected the main control and it appeared to be good. Tested the switches and they are good. Due to the intermittent issues, I removed and replaced the main control and retested and unit is operating as designed. Job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect washer leaking water from the bottom. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the unit is leaking water from the left and right sides and its flowing to the front of the unit. I tilted the unit back and found no evidence of a water leak. I felt in the wash base and found water inside the cutouts (photos). I placed the unit in diagnostics and found no error codes. Continued with testing and the unit is operating as designed with no leaks. I tested the unit several times in automatic test mode, manual test mode and normal wash cycles and could not duplicate the issue. The customer did advise that the leaking is intermittent and not with every load. I advised them of my findings and recommended they take a video and get photos of the leak if the unit continues to do so. I cleaned up the water I found inside the wash base. No water leaks observed during service and no repairs needed at this time, job completed."

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator to possibly replace sealed system components. I found the unit was cycled off when I arrived. I opened the doors for a couple of minutes and the sealed system cycled on. I found the compressor making normal noise. I connected a test inverter and watt meter and tested the compressor. The unit went up to 169 watts and after two minutes it had dropped to 95 watts. The FC was at 1 degree and the RC was at 37 degrees. I left the doors open for a little bit and showed the customer the compressor ramping up. I explained to the customer that this is gonna happen when enough temp is lost or when the unit goes into ice making mode. I called techline and spoke with Drew SR# 7735254225 giving him all my test results. Drew did not recommend replacing any sealed system parts and stated this was normal operation. Call complete.

"Arrived on site to follow up on refrigerator making a knocking / ticking sound when running at times. On arrival customer advised the noise was present, and I confirmed. Could hear a fairly quiet ticking / tapping coming from the rear of the unit in the cabinet. I removed the unit and taped down the tags and tape that can knock on the cabinet when fan is blowing. I also applied mastic to the dryer area. After putting the unit back in position I could not hear any other abnormal noises. With my head close enough I can hear what sounds like refrigerant moving through the yoder loop / evap area, which is a normal operating sound on this unit. Called findings into techline who has no additional repair recs, and finds noise within normal operating limits. SR 7734892312. Unit working as designed at this time. Call complete."

Installed the new fan on the upper oven and a new control board for the upper oven. Oven temperature were 25? hotter then what the oven was set for. I did a calibration of 30? on the upper oven and 25? on the lower oven. Customer said that she was burning the food.

"Arrived on site to inspect wall oven not reaching set temps. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics and checked for for codes and found none. Unit is in a new home and not connected to WiFi yet. Using my multimeter, I placed my thermal lead in the middle of the center rack and tested temps on Bake at 350 degrees. My preheat temp was 383 degrees. My next five readings were 394, 337, 395, 319! 370, 349 for an average temp of 354.0 degrees. Assuming the temps were previously tested with either a round metal thermometer or infrared temperature tester would have been the incorrect way to test. Per the manufacturer, the unit must be tested using a multimeter with thermal coupler and must take 3-5 readings after preheat. No repairs needed for this unit as it is operating as designed. New owner will need to download the whirlpool app on their phone and follow the steps in connecting to WiFi. Job completed."

Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not completing cycles. Inspected unit and work area. Confirm the customers complaint and ran the unit through diagnostics. Found an F7 E6 (motor fault) and F7 E1 (basket speed fault) error codes. Test at the unit Emmanuel agitation and found the basket spinning with the agitator. Check underneath the unit and found the cam completely destroyed by the gear case. Found the gear case bottom driveshaft had fallen causing the issue. Replaced both the gear case and the cam and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete.

Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not cooling again. Inspected unit and work area. The customer had the unit unplugged. Plugged in it in and checked for any signs of heat from the condenser. Found no heat on the return line from the condenser for over five minutes upon starting up the compressor. Hooked on my gauges and found an equalize pressure of zero. Plug the unit in and found the pressure is running at 115 psi on the high side and -20 psi on the low side. Hooked up my nitrogen tank and ran the pressure up to 140 psi on both sides. Let the unit sit for 30 minutes and did not see any pressure drops. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Adrian Sr# 7735251358. He advised that based on all the information and prior service history on this unit that he would submit the unit for review. He advised to not make any further repairs to this machine at this time and advise to tell the customer they would be in touch with myself or the customer depending on the next steps. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for a wall oven that is still making a rattling sound during convection baking. Inspected unit and work area. Did confirm the customers complaint and ran the unit through a convection cycle. The unit ran for 15 minutes before making the sound but did make the sound several times. When pressing against the cover with a wooden spatula, I found the noise would cease. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Bruce SR# 7735166300. He advised they have a known issue with the convection fan cover causing the rattling and to order three washers for the fan blade and the cover to go between the cover and cabinet.
