"Arrived on site to inspect intermittent ice production. Upon further insp3dtion, the customer informed me that he would ocasionnaly hear the ice maker attempted to fill, but no water would come in. I gained access to the valve and tested it . The valve is operating as designed. I checked the fill tube heater and checked voltage going to the heater with test 19. This test checks good. I tested the ice fan and checked the thermistor, and they also checked good. I can conclude that the ice maker fill tube was becoming frozen. I secured the ice tube in place more firmly and ensured that it was making proper contact with the tube. I reassembled the unit. The ice maker is woeking as designed. Arrived onsite for range burner knob not working. I pulled off the right end burner knob and found the meatal sleeve stuck onto the valve stem. I was able to pull the metal sleeve off and found it had broke onto the valve stem. I put the knob customer had received from whirlpool and was able to get it to fit as designed. The issue was the metal sleeve broke off onto the valve stem. Unit is now operating as designed. No gas leaks present. Call complete. No parts installed.

I ran the unit through a diagnostic cycle and found the recirculation pump being okay with the water level. When barely any water was in the reservoir. I also found a service pointer (W11623132) indicating the issue would be with the recirculation pump. I did verify that the customers model and serial numbers matched that of the servicee pointer. Found service pointer W11560805 applies to repair for frozen fill tube. Per SP I removed and replaced the fill tube, valve and icemaker. I also found that the gasket for the fill tube on the back was folded and allowing air to infiltrate the unit. I added some silicon around the seal to resolve. Unit is also level which does not play a factor. Tested unit and verified everything working as designed with no water leaks. The customer advised that there is water beneath the filter after every wash cycle and that her dishes are not coming out dry. I did explain to the customer that having water underneath.Her filter is normal due to the way that the drain pump works. I ran the unit through diagnostics and did not find any stored error codes. I ran the unit through an auto test and found the unit working and operating as designed with the heater kicking on at the end of the cycle. "Arrived on site to diagnose range with right side oven stopping cycles. Customer said several times they would run a cycle, come back and it seems to have cancelled itself and hasn't fully heated. Last several cycles seem to have worked properly. I checked the unit for errors and found no errors present. I tested the unit and found no issues when heating. Tested first to 350. Unit made it with no issues. I gently shook the unit around to see if anything was loose or would click and found no issues. Checked the switch on the latch and found it was also firm and reading. Cancelled cycle and reset and ran unit to 500 degrees. Unit made it with no issues. I called tech line and reported findings, 7740731923. I advised the customer to install the KitchenAid app and update software on the unit to ensure software is up to date. If issue returns we can replace UI. I tested the thermistors, defrost thermistor, defrost element, diffuser, both fans and compressor and all are operating as designed without tripping the breaker. I removed the rear cover and found the main harness compressed in between the rear cover and bracket near the compressor (photos). "Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not heating. Upon further inspection, I inspected the heating element and found what appears to be rust on the element. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error F7E1-no heat. I cleared the code and continued with testing. Using my multimeter, I tested ample draw readings at the black wire at the junction box. I found 8.20amps during wash cycle of diagnostics to the element and 8.45amps during the drying cycle of diagnostics to the element. The unit completed diagnostics and at the end of the test, I poured water onto the element ro demonstrate that it is functioning and when the water hit the element, it sizzled and created steam. Due to the rust build up on the element, I removed and replaced the element and retested and monitored the elementmnuts under the unit for leaks. The unit continues to operate as designed. "Arrived on site to diagnose washer making noise when spinning. Customer showed me video of the unit making a very loud high pitched whine towards the end of spin cycle. I tested the unit and could not duplicate the noise, but video strongly evidenced the gearcase. I didn't find any leakage on the bottom, only some rubber marks on the splutch from slipping belt. I found that the top ice maker assembley was not properly seated to the adaper. Because of the tip ice maker not being seated correctly, it allowed air from the freezer to escape and circulate with the fC air, causing cooling issues that can affect the condition of the ice in the freezer. I properly seated the upper ice maker. Customer to monitor ice production. No water leaks observed during service."

Arrived on site to test unit for unit giving error code when running. Test unit by putting it in test mode and Found FAE2 error vent electrical problem and FAE4 diverted motor not finding position. Deleted error code rana diagnostics cycle and both error codes came back. Will order new vent rescheduled for 1/16 ; ordrng 1 W11649995 (Vent)

Arrived on site to test unit for unit tripping breaker. Test unit and unit is on a GFCI breaker. Turned upper oven on to 350? and bottom oven and both ovens pre heated to 350? with out tripping the breaker. Customer said units have been working good am lately. Ordering W10908289 agitator, WP21366 spanner nut, W10772621 agitator screw, W10793634 dispenser, W11085570 base shield, WPW10427633 motor shield, WPW10006384 belt, W11686050 motor, W11158830 capacitor and W11454741 gearcase. No water leaks detected at this time. Arrived on site to inpsect dryer with paint peeling from the drum. The paint chiping and peeling is due to a manufacturing defect and not due to the customer. I replaced thedrum and reassembled and tested the dryer. The dryer is operating as designed. W10508188

"Arrived on site to diagnose washer not starting cycles. Customer said one cycle didn't spin out, and on the next cycle unit did not start at all. I checked errors and found an F5E2 for door lock failure. I tried replacing the latch with one in hand. Unit still would not start and lock the latch. If I went into diagnostic mode it will latch, but takes an extended period of time to unlock, and won't start. This points to a likely control failure. Unit is stacked and in the corner of its room, and will need to be unstacked. Claims confirmed ext warranty will cover 2 techs to come out to unstack. Requesting 2 man job to unstack unit. Arrived on site to test unit for lower spray arm not working. Found lower spray arm and plastic mount on spray arm separated. Replaced lower spray arm(W11550888) and completed diagnostics with no issues. No leaks detected. At this time. Job complete.

Arrived on site to diagnose dishwasher with issues starting cycles. Customer showed me that half the buttons on the console did not work. Replaced the console to resolve. Tested unit and verified proper operation with new console. Parts used - W11659646. Call completed.

"Arrived on site to inpsect refrigerator lights flashing and no cool. Upon further inspection, the customer informed me that she reset the refrigerator by unplugging it and plugging it back and after a few days the cooling and operation came back. I ran through a complete check of the refrigerator, including temperatures, fan operation, compressor operation, connections and incoming power from wall. All checks come up good. As of now, the unit is operating as designed and can not find any issues. The customer will continue to monitor. No water leaks observed during service. No parts installed"

Arrived on site to test unit for not washing. Found error f8e1(long/no fill) present. Found cold valve has sediment buildup preventing valvefrom opening. Recommend valve assembly. Scheduled for 01/20. ; ordrng 1 W11641117 (Valve assembly)

Arrived on site to test unit for grinding noise. Found slider was seized causing noise and preventing unit from sensing and distributing loads properly. Replaced slider(W10734521) and clutch(W10754448) unit was tilted way left and causing basket to sit against left side of cabinet. Adjusted and leveled unit. Unit now working as designed. If noise happens to return recommend rotor replacement. Advised customer to monitor.

"ET1MHKXMQ00 Arrived on site for unit leaking water inside RC. Upon arrival, proceeded to disassemble FC evaporator cover and found ice on the drip pan (picture attached). Proceeded to clear all ice and clean all moisture. Continue to clean drain line with trombone cleaner and found no restrictions. Proceeded to replace 819043 frozen drain kit. Tested unit and now unit is functioning as designed. No water leaks detected at this time."

Arrived on site to test unit for latch issues. Customer stated lid stayed locked and she was able to open but standing water was present and she removed water with shopvac. Needing lower harness and latch replaced. Office to reschedule. ; ordrng 1 W11643701 (Lower harness)

"Arrived on site to diagnose double oven with error displayed. On arrival unit had the breaker flipped off. I turned the unit on and checked for errors. I found one error only, F9E0 saved for product miswire. I gave the unit some time at idle with the clock set and error did not repopulate. I ran both ovens to 250 before I powered down the unit and had NO errors return or display. Unit seems to be working fine and is not throwing any further errors. More information will be needed as to when error populated / gets thrown since cycles are starting fine. This is a vacant builder home with no one on site to provide a signature. No repairs made since unit tested fine and began working properly with no duplicated failures. Call completed."

Arrived onsite and found unit operating with failed blower. Pulte warranty un-installed unit to make accessible due unconventional wiring behind the microwave above the oven in question. Repaired by replacing the blower demonstrated a seized motor on the old blower as the cause. Pulte installed the oven for testing. Unit is now operating as designed.

Arrived onsite for lod not latching. Found root cause to be broken drain harness clean break at the base of the tub. Repaired by installing new lower harness. Unit is now operating as designed. Advised customer on repair. W11399437

On arrival verified complaint of tripping breaker. Breaker was not replaced. Visual inspection shows no issues. Spoke to safety. 7740349623 They advised no further repairs at this time. Customer is needing to replace breaker. Job complete no parts installed.
