"Arriving onsite for a refrigerator that is making very small amounts of ice, up arriving I tested temps and found 0*fc 5*ice box. I checked the thermistors and found them all good though the ui. I perform a ice maker fill test and found that it fill properly. The a harvest test and found that the ice maker harvested properly.I check codes and found that a e1 no cool code was stored. I did find that the compressor was running along with the fans at this time. The customer did inform the that they found water in the pan-ui area due to this I am ordering the pan-ui,main control, ui and the lh rc door switch because while inspecting the unit i found that when I wiggled it up and down the lights flickered. And also the ice maker. Returning tech to level unit, office to reschedule. ; ordrng 1 W11579560 (ICEMAKER) and 1 WPW10624574 (CNTRL-ELEC) and 1 W11577100 (Ui) and 1 WPW10769076 (Pan-ui) and 1 W11289496 (Oh rc door switch)"

"Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator that had been losing cooling. Examined unit and found cool air coming out of freezer side, but nothing excessively cold. Checked compressor and found compressor was scalding hot. Checked entire sealed system, heat exchanger, and pan heater for leaks. Only place I saw ANY freon was at the Schrader valve for the dryer. I tightened the valve and checked pressures. Found equalized pressure was only 42psi, with my system pressures at -20 low, and 95 high. I talked with SW about findings, and agreed there either was a small leak at the Schrader valve, or a leak in the cabinet. I let my customer know that the leak is likely in the cabinet and unfixable, however we can evacuate and charge the system with the tightened schrader valve to confirm that was the source of the leak. Evacuated system and charged to MFR spec. Verified improved pressures. Informed customer that if unit loses cool again its leaking in the cabinet and we will not recharge again. Call complete."

Customer had rear panels removed and showed me where the infinite switch indicator light had broken off and touched the rear panel, causing a spark. Examined unit and found the light lens had broken in half, which is why the light hit the rear panel. I adjusted the wires a bit and replaced the lens to resolve. Call complete."

"MVW7230HW0 Arrived to inspect t filling. I retrieved errors from service test mode and found F7E4 and cleared for testing. Full function of the water valves was present and the unit proceeded through service test mode to agitate an spin and I found the basket would not engage. Inspection revealed the slider had failed and required replacement. I advised the customer there was a very slight amount of gear case oil starting to leak, but it was in the very early stages and the customer elected to not replace the gear case assembly at this time. I advised the customer with detergent amounts to hopefully prevent any further seal wear and then to prolong the life of future machines. I replaced the slider with truck stock and recalibrated. All functions resumed normal operations and the unit completed the service test mode as designed. No leaks observed during service. used 1 W10734521 (Slider Assy) from stock"

I inspected the icemaker and found it in good condition. I inspected the fill tube and found it covered in calcium causing it to change the flow of water. I cleaned off the calcium of the fill tube and reassembled the unit. I tested the icemaker fill and found it working properly. The calcium build up was changing the flow of water making the ice maker leak.

I raised the cooktop to find the elements attached to the cooktop. I researched the glass cooktop and found it discontinued. I advised the customer of my findings and advised the cooktop is discontinued. Also advised that if I move forward with repairs, there is a potential that with the cooktop already broken, there could be more damage done trying to replace the element. Customer advised that the unit is old and theyll replace the unit.. Job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect washer error codes. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error codes F8E1 & F9E1. Cleared the codes and continued with testing. I found the valve not opening fully and not allowing enough water into the drum (F8E1). Once the drain pump came on, it was loud and struggling to drain the water (F9E1). Stopped testing and pulled the unit out and got access to the drain pump. I removed the pump filter and found a large amount of debris inside the filter (photo). Cleared the debris and re-installed the filter to the pump. I removed the water hoses and found a large amount of debris inside the valve screens (photo).Removed and replaced the valve and retested. Unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

While testing, I checked the amp draw of the components and found the element pulling 7-9amps during wash & drying cycles of diagnostics. At the end of testing, the unit operated as designed.
