"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher dispenser, not opening during cycle. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit into service mode and ran an automatic test cycle. I found that all components are operating as designed except the dispenser did not open. I gained access to the dispenser and found that the solenoid plunger slipped out of place. I adjusted and secured the actuating arm to the solenoid with a retaining strip. It is now secure and is operating as designed after running another automatic test. The customer also stated that sometimes he has white residue left on his dishes since he had a water softener installed. I advised the customer on proper detergent and rinse aid usage. I advised him that it is very important to control the amount of detergent since the water chemistry is now different after the water softener. I advised the customer to run the hot water at the sink to ensure proper incoming water temperature. No water leaks observed during service."

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice dispenser not dispensing ice. Upon further inspection, I found the front bottom left corner of the ice bin warped due to the customer using a hair dryer to remove ice from the bottom of the ice bin. I removed the bin and inspected the mounting plate assembly was badly warped due to using the hair dryer to defrost the ice from the bin and was allowing the bin to seat properly. Using my heat gun, I heated the plastic and reshaped the plastic on the mounting plate and allowed it cool. Replaced the ice bin back in place and it now seats properly. I advised the customer of my findings and repairs and recommended they not use a hair dryer on the unit as it will warped the plastic and damage the unit. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Tested unit, unit is heating and no noise is being produced. Warmed up two cups of water, starting temp was at 70?, after a minute it warmed up to 140?. Second cup started at 60? and warmed up to 130? within proper heating range. Ran multiple cycle to try to recreate the noise, could not mimic the issue. Loosened up screws securing the unit to the cabinet and adjusted unit to the right to prevent the wrapper from hitting the internal frame as precautionary. Advised to customer, if noise returns to capture issue on video and contact the office. At this time unit is running as designed, no parts installed, job complete."

"MDB4949SKZ1 Arrived on site for unit leaving stains on glass. Upon arrival, customer mentioned black specs will be left on the dishes after finishing (pictures attached). Proceeded to clean filter and found same black specs on the sump but cannot pin point actually what it is. Called techline and spoke with Nathan SR#7740788637 and stated he was not sure, but possibly could be deteriorated specs from the black hoses and recommended to replace the entire sump assembly. I advise the customer to run a Power Blast cycle to clean the machine. I added one cup of vinegar add one cup of baking soda. Advice customer to try the clean cycle first and if it doesn't work out, we will replace the sump assembly. Customer agreed. Unit is functioning as designed. No water leaks detected at this time. No parts replaced"

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer shutting off on it own and found that the the airflow is bad due to a lot of excess vent line. With the customer's permission, I trimmed the vent line and reattached it. After trimming the hose, the dryer passed the airflow test. I tested the dryer on timed dry, and it is still stopping the cycle. Motor is not resuming on its own indicating that is not the motor overheating. I examined the door switches and found the lever to be very loose with a lot of play. I was able to recreate the issue while holding the door switche and wiggling it a while running a cycle. I'm ordering a door switch and the motor and wheel just in case. WP3406107 279827 WP694089 i am scheduling for 1/29; ordrng 1 WP3406107 (Doors switch) and 1 279827 (Motor) and 1 WP694089 (Blower)"

Tested unit, found solenoid not engaging properly. Took voltage at control, solenoid is only receiving 30VAC. Replaced control (W11556912) and solenoid (WPW10309866) as precautionary. Tested unit, solenoid is now engaging properly but still no crushed ice. Inspected bin and found flap that forces cubes to be crushed is getting hung up and allowing full size cubes to be dispensed. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and tested. During the spin cycle of testing, I found the right tub spring had lost tension and the tub assembly sagging on the right side. "Arrived on site to follow up on dispensing issues / noise. I disassembled and replaced the dispenser switch, spring, and UI to resolve the dispensing hang time. I tested the unit and found the switch is engaging / disengaging the way that it's supposed to, but it seems to lag a bit. Nothing else I can replace to try and adjust that per tech line. I added some sound pads in the rear of the unit to combat the noise customer was hearing. I insulated the condenser to chassis contact points, and suction line. Reassembled and leveled unit. Found no further abnormal noises. Tech line case number 7740795729 for dispensing lag. Tech line did advise with it being software based it is normal the unit may not react instantly in line with the mechanical switch. Call completed. Parts used - W11109505, W11087492, W11577100."

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator temps. Upon further inspection, I tested temps in the FC=1 degree and RC=51 degrees. I found a small amount of frost on the evap cover at this time. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested the thermistors and fans and found the RC evap fan not coming on. Gained access to the RC evaporator fan scroll and found the fan not plugged in and the evap thermistor not installed and seated correctly. I removed and replaced the thermistor and properly seated it on the cap tube line (photo) and installed a new fan scroll due to the scroll being broken and sealed the gap at the top of the scroll where it meets the manifold with permagum. Retested the unit in diagnostics and it is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed. W11098695, W10316760, 212543"

"Arrived on site to test unit for no cool. Upon arrival customer stated they noticed the temp alarm beeping, then the whole unit lost cooling. Began testing on the unit, cycled power, compressor engaged. On startup unit pulled 1.1 amps, then settled at .57 amps. Allowed unit to run for 20 minutes, high side is not heating up to the proper temp and evaporator is not building any frost. Inspected for leaks with UV light, found no leaks in the unit compartment, found a possible leak in the evaporator cover. Unit will need a full sealed system rebuild. Unit is a r126a. Requesting 3 hours for return visit.
