This allowed the prior service mode testing to operate, but within customer mode, the issue appeared. I removed and replaced the entire lower harness assy and tested. The unit operated as designed and sensed the water level as expected. No leaks observed during service."

Arrived on site to diagnose dishwasher that was not draining. Found drain knockout still intact on the disposal. Removed knockout and verified proper drainage. Repair completed.

Arrived onsite for dryer making a grinding noise. On inspection found the blower wheel had lint buildup on on side of the wheel. The wheel was off balance and hitting the side of the wheel house. Clean the wheel up and tested the unit no more grinding noise. The unit is operating as designed. CC on file being charged.

"Arrived on site to follow up on refrigerator not cooling in the FC. On arrival was informed the unit had started making ice and cooling returned. I checked the temp and found it drop below 0. Cooling seems to be intermittent in the FC, and may be due to a likely restriction/or undercharge. I evacuated the system and ran a vacuum on the system for 25 minutes. I then attempted to charge and found it taking an abnormal time to pull down. I ran a sweep charge through the system and replaced the dryer. I vacuumed down and charged again. Found the unit still taking a while to pull down and charge. Recharged the unit to proper pressures when charge speed increased. Advised customer to follow up if any cooling issues return as there may be a floating restriction. Repair completed."

Arrived onsite for a wall oven with long preheat times and it doesnt get to temp. The customer stated its the upper oven. I tested the oven and found all the elements working properly. The oven preheated in 15 minutes. I checked the calibration and found the average temp at 356 degrees when set at 350 degrees. The customer chose to leave it a little warmer rather that put a cooler offset in the control and be cooler. I went over preheat times for homemade recipes vs frozen products with the customer. At this time the oven is working as designed. Call complete.

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator with ice build up in the FC. The customer stated that there have been small areas in the FC with ice build up. Sometimes on the back wall or shelves but never around the door. I found the evaporator clear and a small amount of ice on the cover under the vents but the vents were getting blocked by a plastic baggie. I found the door gasket sealing properly. After talking with the customer the ice was slowly disappearing and he stated it was much worse last week when it was very humid. I went over keeping the upper vents clear and explained that when there is higher humidity this can happen if the door is left open for long periods of time. I also explained that the door might not have closed properly and this could also cause the issue. The customer has had no issues with ice production and the funnel and bucket had no frost build up. The FC was at 2 degrees when I arrived. At this time the refrigerator is working as designed. I did set the leveling feet and got the doors even. There were no water leaks present at the time of service. Call complete.

I did confirm the customers complaint and attempted to find any burnt wiring or residue off the heater in the freezer section. Could not find any abnormality with any of the components in the freezer or refrigerator sections. The customer advised that not only do they smell the smell, but that their water and ice are tasting like they have chemicals in it. I want to head and contacted Whirlpool Tech line and spoke to Brandon SR# 7737693859. He advised that because there are no burnt wires or issues with the heater burning anything in the freezer section, that the only smell that could be coming from that unit would be food decay. He advised that there is nothing within the freezer or refrigerator sections that could cause any type of odor due to the types of material used. Advise the only way that they could have smells inside of the unit would be due to some sort of food decay, and that that odors can get into the ice. He advised to make no repairs at this time and to advise the customer to use baking soda or coffee beans to help with the unit of the smell. WTW4816FW3 Arrived to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. I found the harness for the pump had been damaged and I was able to repair the issue. I replaced and calibrated the control after verifying the harness no longer shorted and tested. The unit regained full function and no leaks were observed during service.

Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not cooling. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the lower levels of the refrigerator and freezer seem to be cooling but the rest of the refrigerator and freezer seems not to be a proper temperature is. Found a defrost issue in the freezer section. Ran the unit through diagnostics and found the defrost thermistor open. I ran a forced defrost on the unit. Found the defrost heater working properly. Removed all the ice buildup in the freezer section and replaced the defrost thermistor and control. Tested the unit and the unit began to cool and operate as designed. Call complete.

Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is condensating on the center Molean. Inspected unit and work area. If customer advised that the unit is condensating on the horizontal million and a little bit on the vertical Molean in the refrigerator section. Checked both Malayans and found him cold. Went through the service diagnostics and changed the status on both from sensor operation to non-sensor operation indicating the heater would be on 100% of the time. Did not find any condensation on either Molean at this point. Let the unit run for 20 minutes and found both millions starting the heat and operate as designed. Check voltage to both millions and found proper voltage. Check resistance through the millions and found proper resistance. By the customer that the unit should be working in operating as designed this point. Call complete.

"Arrived onsite for IM not working. On inspection I found the ice bin gasket off the door. The ice bin was frozen over and hard to pull out. Once I got it out it was full of frozen water solid. Defrosted the ice bin . I then pulled the IM out and found the water funnel to the tray frozen over, on further inspection found the IM bi metal free and about 2 in from the tray. Reinstalled the bi-metal and the IM backing into the unit. I called for water and the tray filled. Told customer to give the IM 48 to make ice and give us a call if the issue recurs. No water leaks detected during service."

Arrived on site to inspect gas cooktop. The customer is on natural gas. The customer wants the flame height higher. I tested all burners and found them operating at the correct height. I explained to the customer I am unable to increase the flame height. The burners are adjusted properly and the correct orifices are installed. The unit is operating as designed at this time. I went to replace the cavity thermostat and I found the new thermostats terminals were parallel to the mount so the harness wires were not long enough to work. The old thermostats terminals are perpendicular to the mount. I took a photo of the old and new. I confirmed the part numbers on the bag and in Service Matters. Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that is not making ice. Upon arrival I noticed that the unit would rock when you opened the door. Upon further inspection I found that the roller on the right hand side had fallen apart. I am ordering the roller. Upon further inspection I found that the ice maker baling arm was not making it full travel into the ice bin tricking the unit into thinking that the ice bin was full causing the issue we are seeing. I fixed the baling arm and tested the ice maker and found the the ice maker was now opening as designed. Arrived onsite for a dryer with a door that will not stay closed. Upon arrival the customer advised me that they didnt require service today.

Arrived onsite for a washer that Al not lock. Upon inspection I found that lock was not installed properly I corrected this and tested the unit several times and found unit operating as designed

Arrived onsite for a washer that will show a F4e1 heater code when you attempt to run a cycle. Upon arrival I found that the code was present in diagnostic mode. I erased the cod and ran the unit and found that the code cam back I replaced the control and tested the unit and found no change. I replaced the heater and found that the unit in now operating as designed

Arrived onsite for a washer the that is not draining. Upon inspection I found that the connector at the drain pump broke. I replaced the connector as I was doin so I found that the pump was not fastened down properly I corrected this and tested the unit and found unit operating as designed no leaks the customer mentioned and showed me a noise that she hears when she rinse a cycle and us the high seep spin option. I ran the unit in the high speed spin cycle and found that the noise was gone.

Arrived onsite and found upper rack concerns due to installed incorrectly. Adjusted install and fixed adjuster. No parts needed. All checks good. Advised customer on repair.

Arrived onsite and found unit with potential intermittent sticking of the dispenser door causing partial dissolving of the pods used. Advised customer on cost for replacement of the dispenser and alternative methods of use. Customer will not proceed to repair at this time. Water is restored and wash motor function is good.

Arrived onsite with incorrectly packed part under correct order number. Ordering correct part to repair. ; ordrng 1 W11455449 (Control)

Arrived onsite for unit frosting on food product. Inspected unit and found no gaps in seal indicating warm air migration. Customer stated has to give door a second push to close and self close is not functioning properly. Rails have already been replaced. Called tech line due to recurring issues. Spoke with Johnathan SR#7737676202. Took measurements from cabinet to door from upper and lower sides. All measures are equal. Seal is making good contact throughout. Tech recommended instructing customer on proper closing. Pulling open and closing from center to ensure equal pressure distribution on rail assembly. Job complete

"Arrived on site to replace compressor and dryer due to previous diagnosis. Upon closer inspection found restriction in system that was able to be cleared via nitrogen. Replaced compressor, soldered connections, pressurized unit and held pressure for 20 minutes. Replaced start device for compressor. Added 54 grams of R600 as recommended for unit, tested unit, unit is running as intended. Job complete."

Arrived on site with dishwasher console for buttons not working. Removed door panel. Replaced console. Verified operation. Call complete.

Arrived on site for cooktop burner not working properly. Center burner explodes on. Found vent burner is a dual with simmer. Found vent cover was not on proper burner. Explained to customer why it had to be special for center. Correctly set burner covers.
