"Arrived onsite for a microwave to replace the previous diagnosed parts. I replaced the mag, cap, HV diode, and filter board. I removed the fuse and used my mini breaker and tested the unit. The unit is did not sound normal and the breaker tripped. I disconnected the HV transformer and tested the rest of the microwave and it works as designed. I tested the new mag, cap, and diode with all testing good. I tested the HV transformer and didnt get any readings to ground but the secondary resistance reading was half of what it should be and the filament is reading .1 ohm and it should be 0 ohms. Arrived onsite for a dryer that will not power on. I found the unit had a different serial number. I messaged claims and was advised by SC that a new dispatch has to be sent from AIG with the correct model and serial number before we can proceed with repairs. I informed the customer and he is going to call AIG. Call complete.

"Arrived onsite for a refrigerator making noise and drips water out of the front of the dispenser. I found the ice door not closing and letting warm air enter the FC and cause melting and water leaking out of the ice door. The customer had a video of the noise. It is the evaporator fan making the noise and the customer stated the noise stops when the door is opened. I tried running the fan in diagnostics and it would not turn on. I ran a forced defrost and found the heater turning on and working as designed. I tried turning the fan on after the defrost and the fan came on. I removed the evaporator cover and found a solid block of ice on the left side of the fan. I removed the ice. I tested the icemaker and found the fill tube leaking between itself and the extension. I tried sealing it but it would still leak. Need to replace the fill tube, extension, and the ice door. Ordering W11678833 ice door, & W11645360 water chute. The part going thru the refrigerator is not replaceable. Gonna try and add a tube extension on the end of it. Also ordering WP2174755 fill tub extension. Arrived onsite for a refrigerator to replace the previous diagnosed parts. I replaced the compressor and drier adding an access valve to the compressor. I vacuumed the system and charged it with 4.9 ozs of R134A. I tested the unit and had good pressures and good refrigerant flow. Unit is not connected to a water supply. Call complete.

"Add-on site for a refrigerator that is not dispensing water. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advised the unit stopped dispensing water for two days and that since then, it started working again. I tested the unit and confirmed the customers complain. The customer advised that all they did was change the temperature from the max cold setting down to the recommended setting. I did explain to the customer that the max cold setting may have caused their water reservoir behind the deli drawer to freeze, and that by just changing the temperature on the unit, she may have fixture on issue. The unit is working an operating as designed. Call complete."

Upon arrival the customer advised me that the issue was that the unit was making a noise like barbels where rolling around in it. I checked codes and found F6E3 Communication Error: ACU. I deleted the code and continued on to run the diagnostic cycle and heard the noise. I checked under the unit and found that the rotor bolt had come loos I checked the rotor and the slider and found the they were still good and the gearcase was not leaking. I put blue lock tight on the threads of the rotor bolt and tighten it back down and tested the unit and found that the unit was not leveled I corrected this and tested the unit again and found unit operating as designed no noise and no leaks

"On arrival confirmed complaint of DW leaking. Looked under unit and found no evidence of water marks in the heavy dust under the unit. Ran diag and all components functioned but no leaks found, started normal cycle and still found no leaks. Verified flood sensor is dry as well. Job complete."

Replaced harness, tried to test unit but unit was filled with laundry. Put in drain/spin cycle, unit drained, as soon as it started spinning it was really off balance due to a pillow inside. "Arrived on site to inspect dryer steam function not working. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the steam is not working properly as they will throw a few wrinkled items inside to steam them and water leaks from the door. I advised that in order to use the steam function, they have to dry a full load so that when the water is sprayed, it will hit all of the clothing and not the unit door. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes. I tested the unit in a steam mode and found the unit is operating as designed and the water (steam) is spraying properly. I contacted techline and spoke to Drew,and advised of the complaint and my findings. Drew advised that based off my diagnosis, the unit is operating as designed and to not replace any parts. Drew provided SR#7738625986. I advised the customer of my testings and findings and conversation with the manufacturer tech support. Arrived on site for unit not powering on. Upon arrival inspected unit and found that the issue was the unit was tripping the breaker when the oven would be in use. Found if the issue was during the pre-heat cycle and the GFCI arc fault breaker in advertently tripping the breaker. Ran test to isolate components and showed customer that none of the components are causing the unit to trip. It is a nuisance tripping error caused by the GFCI breaker. Was able to heat and cycle several times and showed customer. Also took pics. Recommendations are to use a standard non-GFCI breaker or depending on city code if a GFCI breaker is necessary recommend replacing with a more reliable breaker manufacturer such as GE. Job complete

"Arrived on site for dryer taking to long to heat. Upon arrival confirmed issue and found a clog in venting exiting dryer. Also found element coils starting to sag close to the point of grounding out, and replaced element. Shortened vent hose to proper length required for laundry room space and tested unit. Found it heating as designed. Also informed customer there was a small hole next to the vent hose on the wall of home itself that could pose a possible heating concern by allowing heat leaving the dryer to come back in through the house as well as critters to crawl through. I gain access to the drain pan and found the p trap rubber boot had com off the nipple on the refrigerator. I used the adhesive to glue it back in place. This will help with the frosting in the FC section. No water leaks detected during service.

"Arrived on site to inspect wall oven door damage. Upon further inspection, I found the bottom oven door was dented in the bottom left corner (photo). I removed and replaced the outer door glass and tested door functions and unit is operating as designed. Job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect cooktop leaking gas. Upon further inspection, I found the gas turned on to the unit and could not smell any gas odors. I checked the connections from the wall to the unit and all connections were tight. Using my liquid gas leak detector, I tested the gas line connections at the wall, at the regulator, and the regulator to the manifold (unit) and found no leaks (photos). I raised the unit onto my supports and removed the cooktop to expose the gas lines inside the burner box and tested all gas line connections with liquid leak detector. I found no signs of a gas leak (photos). Tested the valves and found no signs of a gas leak at the valves (photos). Reassembled the unit and retested the burners and the unit is operating as designed. I believe if there was a gas leak within the unit and the gas supply was already turned on to the unit, I wouldve smelled the gas odor when I first walked into the room or when I opened the cabinets below or when I disassembled the unit. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed. No one available to sign for receipt."

"WED6605MC0 Arrived to inspect vibration and noise. Starting the unit revealed a loud vibration, that was fast, like a blower rotation. I found the blower wheel had lint stuck in only a few vanes and that was creating an off-balance condition and resultant noise. After correcting the issue and reassembly, I find the noise resolved and the unit operated, cycled and heated as designed."

Arrived onsite for an ice machine not producing ice. I found the compressor not pumping and the evaporator building very little ice. I found the system low on refrigerant. I replaced the compressor and evaporator. I vacuumed the system and had a high side leak. I found the new evaporator leaking where the cap tub entered it. I repaired the leak and vacuumed the system. I charged the system with 6.2 ozs of R134A. I tested the ice machine and found it working as designed. The customer has a generic drain pump on the ice machine that does not kill the power to the ice machine if the pump fails. I explained to the manager that this can be a flood hazard. I also called Alberto Duran and explained this. Call complete.

Arrived onsite for a dryer that is not drying the clothes properly. Upon arrival I tested the unit and found that it heated and tumbled normally. I ran a airflow test and found no flow (photos) gained access to then exhaust tube and found that the was water on the floor under it (see photos) I removed the tube and found wet completed lint in it. I removed the lint and reinstalled the tube and tested the unit and found that the airflow didnt improve. "Arrived on site to inspect unit for no heat and long dry times. Upon closer inspection found sensors not reading properly replaced thermal fuse, thermistor fix, and timer. Advised customer if issue continues to have vents cleaned due to heating element cycling on and off and all other components working as intended. Job complete."

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that still not making ice after the icemaker was replaced. The customer stated it does make some ice but only enough for about two cups a day. I found the FC at 4 degrees when I arrived. I put the icemaker in a harvest and it went thru a harvest. I found the ice cubes smaller from the unit not going thru a harvest. The mold filled up all the way. I replaced the icemaker again. Call complete.

Arrived on site to inspect unit for going into cool down cycle 10 minutes after starting a cycle. Tested unit found heating element cycling on and off. Customer stated issue happened on all settings but more often when temperature setting was raised. Replaced control tested unit. Unit ran while on highest temp for extended time while customer was present. Unit is running as intended. Job complete.

Arrived onsite for a wall oven thats not powering on. Just as I pulled up the customer walked up from the side of the home and stated he just flipped the circuit breaker on and the oven is on now. I tested both ovens and they both reached set point in bake. The customer believes the installers didnt get the breaker turned on correctly. I went over use and care with the customer. Call complete.
