I looked closely at the wireharness from the water valves to the control board it had burn marks on it as well. I ordered the wireharness. Inspected the FC evaporator and discovered it completely frozen over with a heavy frost buildup extending beyond the evaporator cover. After performing full diagnostics and consulting with Tech Support, determined that the unit is experiencing a defrost system failure. "Arrived on site to follow up on under counter built-in refrigerator KUBR314KSS00 with noise and odor complaints. Odor smelled like oil and was present inside the cavity and in the evap pan. Cleaned out the evap pan to remove potential odor sources, which could reach the interior via the drain line. Unit produced a 'Darth Vader'-like noise traced to the evaporator tubing (top left of evap, where cap tube and suction line connect). Noise was a gurgling sound, likely due to a restriction in the evaporator and almost certainly oil-related. When compressor turned off, heard running water and hissing from the same area. Took video and called findings into tech line, SR21796715. After discussion, no repair recommended at this time; unit shows no cooling loss, and noises are cosmetic/nuisance only. Advised to continue operating unless cooling ceases. Discussed findings with homeowner and recommended follow-up if cooling stops. Oil smell may indicate hairline crack or leak in evaporator, which is non-serviceable on this unit. No further repairs attempted; customer to follow up if cooling stops."

I checked the interlocks and found them to be operating as designed. I placed 2 cups of water in the microwave at 70 degrees to do an output test. I heated the water for one minute and checked the temperature. The temperature rose to 125 degrees. The unit is heating properly. I advised the customer on proper time selection for popcorn and that if it needs more time, its ok to increase the cook time. The customer cooled a bad of popcorn as a test and it is operating as designed. No parts installed"

"Arrived on site to diagnose a microwave that is not heating.Began by testing the unit with a cup of water. During testing, I could hear unusually loud operating noises and also detected a burning odor coming from inside the unit.Disassembled the microwave to inspect the internal high-voltage components. Arrived on site for refrigerator WRFF3536SZ00 with issues of green water from filter and frost build up in refrigerator. Found supply water line not installed correctly and after purging water is perfectly clear. Also leveled unit the best I could due to floor being badly unleveled . Contacted Techline and Spoke with Joe. Explained issues with water supply and unleveled floor. I sent in requested pictures. The unit is operating as designed. Arrived onsite for unit with no power. I found unit to have power but customer stated it was off and wouldn't respond. I found a F2E1 error and it is not listed for unit. I replaced the W11306302 CNTRL but unit still needs a vent and ui. Ui is shown as not checked in yet and we will need to return when it is recieved. Arrived onsite for dishwasher not cleaning well. I found the dishwasher with no error codes and ran unit. Unit completed test cycle as designed and no issues were sighted during run time. I went over use and care with customer and explained to her to use pods as she leaves residue on dishes. Unit is operating as designed and customer understands. Call complete. No parts isntalled.

Arrived onsite for dishwasher making dishes rough and putting film. I found the customer using rinseaid and pods and found out customer is rinsing food off before putting in the dishwasher. I advised customer that the enzymes need food to stick or else it affects their dishes such as the white film. When running the dishwasher I found excessive suds and recommended customer to use liquid detergent instead of pods as they are more harsh than liquid. Customer understands. I cleared the suds and unit operates as designed. Call complete. No parts or leaks seen/used.

"Arrived on site to test unit KRMF536RPS00 for tripping breaker. Upon arrival customer stated unit began to trip breaker intermittently and has been unplugged since. Entered service mode and ran test 6; bypassed bi-metal and energized heater, breaker tripped immediately. Exposed evaporator coil and found heater in direct contact with drain pan on right side, with surrounding rust indicating worn protective coating and short circuit on energize. Recommend replacing heater and main control precautionary. Contacted SAFETY and documented under case number 21725226. Customer has third-party extended warranty and will contact them for proper dispatch. Job complete."

Arrived onsite for icemaker issues. I found the valve to be good and unit fills when in forced harvest. I found the icemaker not engaging when supposed to. Replaced W11692144 Icemaker and filled right away. I performed a power reset and advised customer to give it a bit to make ice. Call complete. No lekas.

"Arrived on site to inspect washer model WTW4855HW3 continuously draining unless unplugged. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit into service mode and observed error code F3E1. I checked the condition of the pressure hose and found no obstructions or damage. The control has a failed pressure sensor, which is causing it to drain continuously. I replaced the control and calibrated and tested the machine. The machine is now operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service. W11607637"

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator WRS315SDHW06 ice maker not dispensing ice. Upon further inspection, I found temps in the freezer (FC) at -8 degrees and the RC=35 degrees. I found the ice maker turned on and the tray full of ice. I cycled the power button, and the tray adjusted to the home position. I then pressed the test button, and the ice maker failed to function. I removed and replaced the ice maker and retested, and the unit is operating as designed. I advised the customer that the ice maker would take approximately 72 hours to completely fill the ice bin. No water leaks observed during service, job completed. W11700250"

"Arrived on site to inspect washer WM3670HWA leaking water. Upon further inspection, I found the customer had a towel on the floor at the front left corner of the unit and several towels on the top of the unit that were wet. The customer advised that the unit had recently been repaired by having the drain pump replaced, and after they were using the unit, they found a large amount of water on the floor. I removed the drain pump cover and found water leaking from the filter head. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested and found that when the drain pump came on, water would leak at the bottom front left corner. I gained access to the pump and inspected to find the hose going from the tub to the pump was not installed properly and not secured and was leaking from the bottom. I tilted the unit back to allow the remaining water to flow to the back of the tub, and I removed the leaking hose and repositioned the hose and clamp. I sat the unit down and tilted it forward to allow the remaining water to flow to the front and then checked the hose for leaks. The hose is no longer leaking, but the filter continues to leak. I removed the filter from the pump and cleaned the filter, and found the gasket was not sealing properly. Adjusted the gasket and re-installed the filter, and retested the unit in diagnostics four times. Each time I verified, the hose and filter were no longer leaking. I advised the customer of my findings and repairs and retested with them present to demonstrate there were no leaks. Unit is operating as designed, and no water leaks observed at the end of service, job completed. There is no charge for the rework."

Arrived on site to inspect microwave model WMH31017HS12 not heating and emitting burning smell. Upon futher inspection I gained access to the internal components and found that the diode was slightly discolored. I tested the diode and found that it was tested bad and found it had failed internally. I replaced the diode and reassembled and tested the microwave and it is now operating as designed. W11256462

Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher model Kdpm604kps3 making noise during operation. Upon futher inspection I ran the unit and found a loud noise originating from the main motor. I gained access to the motor and found that the filter was damaged and was causing damage to the motor impeller. I replaced the motor and sump assembly. I reassembled and tested the dishwasher and it is now operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service. W11416362

MVW5430MW2. Customer stated that the washing machine made a squealing noise while spinning. Ran spin test multiple times but could not duplicate noise. Tilted unit back and removed tub housing cover. Checked belt and pulley; both fine. Tested washing machine again; could not duplicate noise. Advised customer to record if noise happens again. Washing machine is working as intended. No leaks detected at times of service.

"Washer WTW4957PW0. Customer stated the washing machine left clothes damp and wet at the end of the cycle. Checked fault codes and found pressure switch fault and long fill fault. Advised customer the unit was out of warranty. She stated she had a Lowe's extended warranty. Advised her I could repair the pressure fault by replacing the control board W11608056. For any other repairs, she would need to contact Lowe's to authorize service under her extended warranty. Removed and replaced control board, recalibrated unit, and ran auto test. Washer is functioning normally. No leaks detected at time of service."

"Arrived on site for dishwasher WDF332PAMS0 with rust on door. Examined unit and found door coating felt abnormally rough, resulting in rust pits forming. Customer cleans with proper stainless steel cleaner/polish. Replaced outer door panel W11647685. Verified proper fitment and no damage to coating. Verified controls working and unit running. No water leaks observed."

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher WDT751SAPZ1, not drying dishes. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that after a cycle has completed and they open the unit door, there is no heat coming from the unit and all dishes are still wet as is the side walls of the tub. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F4E2-heater open, unplugged, or failed control relay. I cleared the code and removed the toeplate to inspect the element connections underneath the unit. I found the left side connector was disconnected. I plugged the harness into the element and continued with testing. While testing, using my multimeter, I tested amp draw to the components and found the element getting 7-9amps as designed. Once testing was completed, I opened the unit door and found the unit was heating. I advised the customer of my findings and repairs. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Model WTW5057LW1. Customers stated the washing machine flashed on the LEDs, and they could not stop it by canceling; they had to unplug it. Diagnostics found F5E4 fault code (lid not opened between cycles). Start button engaged without opening lid between cycles or lid lock issue. Ohmed out lid lock solenoid; it read 65 , within specs. Tested lid lock multiple times in diagnostics mode; it locked and unlocked without issues. After reset, machine ran auto test cycle: filled, washed, drained, and spun with no issues. Advised customer issue could be from hitting start button while lid was down after load finished. Advised customer to use washing machine; call back if issue persists. Washing machine working as intended. No leaks detected time of service."

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher WDF310PAAS3 not completing a cycle. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the unit would start a cycle and then intermittently stop. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F5E1-door stuck open. I cleared the code and continued with testing. When I pressed the start button, the unit failed to start the test, but when I pushed the door closed, the unit began the test and completed the test. I removed the outer door panel and control panel to inspect the door latch assembly and found that when pressing on the switch, the unit would function properly. I found the door strike was not making good contact with the latch actuator, and the actuator was not making good contact with the switch. I adjusted the strike and reassembled the door, and retested. The unit is operating as designed, and no water leaks were observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator KRFF577KPS02 with condensation continuing to build up on the freezer door gasket. Upon further inspection, the customer provided a photo of the moisture/condensation on the FC door gasket. I contacted techline and spoke to Leon and advised of the complaint and my findings. Leon provided a text to my phone, and I sent a photo of the previous repair of the foam gaskets being placed under the FC door gasket and Leon advised that the foam gaskets were not in the correct position. I advised that based on the photo that was provided at the previous service call, the gasket is correct. Leon provided a part number to a video that demonstrates where to put the gasket and recommended ordering another foam gasket and replacing it. Leon created a new Case #21783690. Using a foam gasket from my van stock (W11159728), I removed and repalced the foam gasket and positioned it according to the video I had reviewed and recommended that the customer monitor the unit.
