Arrived onsite for unit making loud banging. I found the suspension to be stretched causing the basket to hit the side of the washer making the noise. "Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator losing cool aje not dispensing ice or water. Tested dispenser panel and found panel was locked. Unlocked panel and ran. Found paddles working properly. I did find the unit was not cooling. Fans were off and compressor was off, indicating a likely failure in the defrost control or the thermostat. I smacked the panel and compressor came on. I replaced the defrost control and thermostat to resolve, since i also saw a little black soot under both parts. Tested unit and verified cooling present and working as designed. "Arrived on site to inspect microwave wall oven combo with the microwave door not closing. Upon further inspection, the customer demonstrated opening and closing the microwave door and found the customer is gently closing the door and it's not fully engaging the door switch. I demonstrated to the customer how the unit door should close in a slamming motion, which is how the manufacturer describes allowing the door to close in order to engage the switches properly. I tested the unit and it is operating as designed. The customer advised that, out of nowhere, the unit will chime as if it has turned off. I could not duplicate the complaint and recommended that the customer monitor the unit and if it continues to operate without them pressing any keys to call it in for service. Unit is currently operating as designed, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect washer noises. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested andnduring the spin cycle, the unit began to make a loud grinding noise. Stopped testing and tilted the unit back and found gearcase oil and dry water stains on the rotor and water was leaking from the back side of the gearcase. I removed the rotor and found rust inside the rotor, clutch and slider. I attempted to remove the washplate and found the washplate bolt head stripped and the bolt seized into the gearcase. Arrived oneite for unit which had leaked one time since the last in approximately 30 loads of use. Tested and found no leaking. Explained the 2 primary causes of circumstantial leaking as sudsing and blocked wash arms. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator that accumulated frost in the freezer. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that a couple of days after purchasing the refrigerator and having it installed, she noticed some frost in the freezer and condensation on top of the FC gasket. After a week or so, this problem resolved on its own. Upon inspection inspecting further, I checked the state of the FC gasket and slides. The gasket is sealing properly with no gaps or deformities. The slides are operating properly with no issues. There is no frost present anymore in the freezer. I also found that the refrigerator was not set up correctly and needed to be leveled to have the stabilizing feet lowered. I informed the customer that brand new gasket most likely needed some time to form to the frame of the fridge and after a week of operating the fridge the gasket formed on its own and formed from the suction created by the freezer. The unit is now level and all in good working order. No parts needed. No water leaks observed during service."

"Arrived on site to inspect heating. Upon further inspection, I tested the unit with the door open and the door switch closed and found the elementmnot illuminating in the back right vent area. I disassembled the unit and gained access to the element and tested all components and found the all good except the element. Removed the element and found the middle plate badly warped and cracked and the element is broken. I cleaned the unit (before/after photos) and installed a new element and tested. Unit is operating as designed. Reassembled the unit and retested and unit continues to operate as designed. I recommended the customer have the vents checked and cleaned. I explained to the customer they might see orange flickering in the flames due to gas impurities inside the gas line and that it is operating as designed. Arrived on site for a washing machine that is still filling while it drains. Inspected unit and work area. I noticed the lid strike had been removed from the lid in order for the customer to watch the cycle. The customer was not home and had her neighbor there to let me in. The neighbor stated the customer said the previous repair did not fix their issue. I ran the unit through diagnostics and found no stored error codes. I ran the unit through an auto test and found the unit working and operating as designed. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Rich SR# 7740973650. I was unable to find the screws to reinsert the strike onto the lid and was advised to inform the customer of the safety risks and to let them know that this machine is de a signed to run with the unit filling and spinning out during the rinse cycle. It is what helps conform with water efficiency standards. He advised to make no repairs at this time but did state the customer is violatingsafetystandards. He advised this call would be turned into a safety call and to contact them for further resolution. I called Whirlpool Safety team and spoke to Lisa SR# 7740868358. She advised to make no further repair at this time. Call complete. No parts were installed.

"Arrived on site for fridge leaking . Found water dripping into fresh food section . Evap drip tray is iced over . Steamed out ice and cleared drain tube . Added prope to heater elemnt and added extension tube on fill tube 819043, WPW10496649. No other leaks detected at time of service . Job complete"

Arrived onsite for unit not cooling upon inspection found compressor not running found start device shorted out replaced start device with truck stock WPW10197428 test unit compressor is now operating as designed unit is now beginning to cool. Customer will monitor.

"Arrived onmsite for oven not working. Oven door was locked. Unit was in self clean when it stopped. Removed from wall. Found breaker tripped. Reset breaker and get 252, 126 each side tomground, g_c=0. Removed top panel. Found red wire didn't have continuity. Removed back panel and confirmed wires harness is needed. Office will call to schedule. ; ordrng 1 W11331688 (Harness)"

"Arrived on site to follow up on range repair. Installed new left side harness. Tested the unit with new harness and found middle coil takes a second to get hot still. Replaced infinite switch to remove possibility of defective switch. Ran unit and found on high vs medium the coils seem to power / heat in different orders. Found the resistance of the middle coil is within 2 ohms of the others. Called tech line, 7740980791 to see if there were tech specs if this is working as designed. Per tech line since all coils are heating to whatever degree after all associated parts are repaired, this is considered working as designed and spec is not listed. Advised customer of findings and that element can be used as normal. Call completed. Parts used - W11190446, W11129442."

"Arrived on site for customer complaint of noise issue. Found out the vent was cleaned, and after that the water/steam valve was loose. I tightend the valve, unit tested good. Customer signed on the wrong ticket, my mistake, customer signed on job number 439115"

Arrived on site to test unit for unit not having any power. Pulled unit out of check voltage and found unit was never installed. Advised customer he would need to get with the builder to get unit installed job complete. No parts used

"Arrived on site for screeching noise during beginning of spin cycle. Upon arrival, ran diagnostics and get error code F0-E5 off balance load. Inspected suspension and is good. Ran a spin test without clothes and confirmed issue. Raised unit to inspect lower components. Found belt and cam pulley are worn. There is no signs of leaking gearcase. Replaced belt W10721967 and cam W10721967. Test unit with wet towels and unit is operating as designed. No leaks present. Job complete"

Arrived on site for oven showing f8e0 and turning off. Removed doors. Had trouble removing side as it was a bit bent. Was ble to get side out then unit stopped halfway. Power cord not long enough to perform the repairs. Attempted to push through other end but it was still not allowing oven to remove from wall. Referred to contractor or builder. Call complete until we here back so blower can be replaced.

"Arrived on site to inspect washer wobbling and going out of balance. Upon further inspection, the previous technician addressed all issues with the washer itself by replacing the shock absorbers and washer leveling feet. However, the problem with the wobbling still persists due to the fact that the washer is sitting on top of a pedestal that is not able to be adjusted. Inspecting the pedestal, i found that it does not have any adjustable legs and it sitting on an unlevel floor. I let the customer know that since the problem is cause from the pedestal, it would be suggested to remove the washer from the pedestal. I called techline to document my findings. "Arrived on site to test unit for filter not coming out, tested unit found customer unit is using after market filter causing it not to remove properly, removed filter and put new one in provided by the customer, all functions of the filter head are working properly, customer also stated that food is freezing random spot in RC, found that it is packed, advised customer lighten the amount of stuff they have in the unit and pull everything off the back wall, unit is running as designed no leaks detected job complete no parts installed"

"Arrive downside for a refrigerator that is not cooling properly in the freezer section. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit does not seal properly on the freezer section and leaves icicles dangling from the ceiling. I opened up the freezer and found two different spots where the freezer liner was pulling away from the cabinet. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Rob SR# 7740974683. He had me send him several photos of the liner damage in question and advised that this unit would be sent for review due to the size of the gaps. He advised me to let the customer know that Whirlpool would be in contact with myself or the customer depending on the next steps, and to make no further repair at this time. Call complete. No parts were installed."

Arrived on site to replace harness. Replaced harness test unit and unit test good job complete.

Arrived onsite for previously diagnosed parts. I replaced the cam and belt and unit is now operating as designed. No leaks present. Call complete. Installed W10721967 Cam assm and WPW10006384 Belt.

"Arrived on site to test unit for always running. Upon arrival applied power to the unit and drain pump immediately engaged. Inspected pressure hose, found no kinks, punctures or restrictions. Replaced control (W11607637) and tested unit, drain pump no longer immediately engages. Ran a calibration cycle successfully. All components are properly engaging and unit is now running as designed, no leaks detected, job complete."

Arrived onsite for dishwasher not cleaning dishes. No errors stored. I found the unit to run as designed during testing mode and ran test cycle 3 times. Unit is operating as designed. I found the detergent that is being used to not have enzymes in ingredients. This is what's leaving food on the dishes as the enzymes are what breaks down the food particles. Customer will need to switch detergents for better results. Unit works as designed. No leaks present. Call complete. No parts installed.

Arrived onsite for washer continuously draining. Found the unit plugged in and not draining. I tested the unit 3 times and operated as designed and didn't continue draining. Could not replicate the issue stated leading there to possibly be debris or a sudden bubble stuck in water pressure line. Unit is operating as designed. No leaks present. Call complete. Upon further inspection found air flow restriction ran vent with unit disconnect from external vent & air increase also notice customer vent is 5' to 6' feet coiled behind unit recommended customer have builder inspect vent & shorten vent hose."

"On arrival, verify complaint of clean light flashing and unit draining constantly and beep. I found error code F8e 4. After speaking with customer about the load that happened prior to the error code found that the customer had put dishes into the dishwasher with dawn dish soap potentially causing studsing. On inspection, the unit found that the overfill switch was wet. And had activated, the error code cleared water from the overfill switch and ran diag test confirmed. No leaks found all components are activating correctly advised Customer of importance of not using dawn dish soap in dishwasher. Job complete no parts installed"
