Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is leaking water into the refrigerator section from the freezer section. Inspected the unit and work area. Found that the drain underneath the freezer evaporator was clogged with ice causing water to flow into the refrigerator section. Steamed out the ice and unclog the hole. Also added silicone around the edges of the freezer door due to minor frost buildup around the door edges. The unit is now working as designed. Call complete.

"MHW5630HW3 Arrived to inspect stalling cycle. I found F5E2 stored in memory and I cleared for testing. I discussed the issue with the customer and found the likely cause for the PF is they are shutting off the circuit breaker when the unit appears to go into extended spin, after the timer on the UI reaches one minute and it stalls. Intermittently, the unit will be sitting with 1 minute displayed and the garments are soaking wet. I ran the unit through multiple manual and automatic tests and found no electronic or electrical supply issues and the unit did complete high speed spin. However, I did hear a squeal on the first high speed spin attempt and it was clearly the rear bearing inner seal. Further testing revealed the front right leg of the unit was not bearing any weight and if the machine was pushed back, it would rock and the leg could be spun. If further issues occur prior to return, contact tech GC. Due to the door lock error code being a commonality throughout all services, I am ordering W11565030 and will install upon return. ; ordrng 1 W11565030 (Door Lock)"

Arrived onsite for a dishwasher to possibly replace previous diagnosed parts. I pulled the dishwasher out and was able to inspect the inlet assembly finding it good. I routed the drain hose through the rear of the machine and reinstalled the drain pump drain hose to the water inlet and installed the retaining clip. Arrived onsite for a dryer that shuts down and shows an F3E3 open or shorted inlet thermistor error. I went in diagnostics and confirmed the F3E3 error and erased it. I tested the thermistor from the control and it showed 55.5 ohms at 73 degrees which is good. I tested the dryer on a timed dry high heat cycle and the dryer worked as designed and never failed. I ran a regular cycle on medium heat and the unit never failed. I made sure the connector was tight at the control for the thermistors. At this time all is working as designed. Call complete.

I put the unit in diag mode and ran the compressor and found that it ran normally with no loud noise as the customer described to where he could hear it in the next room, I ran all of the fans in the unit one by one and found that they ran normally with no loud noise either. But the customer did point out to me that the lower door hing squeaks when you clothe door. "Arrived on site to inspect range oven not turning off. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that they were baking at 450 degrees and when they went to turn the unit off at the control, the oven would not turn off and they could hear the control relays making a popping noise. I found the unit unplugged and I tested voltage at the wall and got 243V. Removed the back panel and inspected the control and found no damage to the control and inspected the terminal block and the harness checked good. Plugged the unit in and tested the unit on bake at 350 degrees and measured voltage at the bake and broil elements and got 243V at both. Tested voltage at the terminal block and got 243V. Monitored temperatures and voltages while testing and when the unit reached preheat temp of 350, I allowed the unit to cycle for approximately 5-6 minutes then turned it off and monitored operations. The unit operated as designed and turned off when I pressed cancel on the control. I advised the customer of my testings and findings and recommended replacing the main control due to a possible relay sticking and allowing the unit to continue to heat. I contacted Whirlpool Safety and spoke to Callie and advised of my testings and findings and recommended the main control be replaced. Callie provided concession #W18BC50WPL1 to warranty all repairs to the unit and provided SR#7737103518. I removed and replaced the main control and retested and unit operated as designed. I tested the cooktop burners and they are operating as designed. Job completed."

Arrived on site to replace front left leveling foot and checked sealed system. Unit has been unplugged. I was able to plug it in and adjust the fridge and freezer and replaced the damaged foot. I checked for leaks on the welds and evap and found no UV dye present (other than what had dripped during the cap tube weld leak) previously resolved. Unit started cooling properly and frost pattern was developing. Leveled unit. All appears to be working as designed. Repair completed.

I tested the voltage at the terminal block and found it consistently at 120 on L1 and L2, polarity correct. I tested the burners and found they are cycling correctly, and the switches are fully responsive. Per previous conversations with tech line I checked their cookware and found most of it had a fairly noticeable concave indent, with one bubbled outwards, which can cause issues with the element. Advised to replace cookware with some newer pots and pans with flat bottoms to ensure proper cycling. Burners are not sticking on high and no damaged was found to the switches. All working as designed with no verifiable failures. Call complete."

"Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator that was not dispensing water or making ice. I tested the dispenser and found it barely trickling. Removed water filter and ran again. Found proper flow with filter removed, indicating a failed filter. Checked the ice maker and found fill tube was full of ice. I removed the ice and steamed out the tube. Tested a harvest and found it filled properly. I found water staying at the end of the fill tube due to a little ridge from casting. Trimmed off the ridge so water would no longer back up. "Arrived onsite for cooktop with no power. Customer said they were having issues with the outlet on the counter and the cooktop is on the same circuit. The breaker was tripped, the breaker was reset and the unit is working as designed. No gas leaks detected during service."

Unit is in apartment 4100. Arrived onsite for unit not sealing properly. Inspected and found center mullion needed adjustment to slide into catch properly and seal. Made adjustment and tested. Unit is now functioning properly. Job complete

Arrived on site to install new rack stop for upper rack. Installed and verified proper fitment. Repair completed.

Arrived onsite and determined not evidence of leaking from the either evap because unit still had very full charge. Replaced the the compressor and installed dye drier and access port. Pulled vacuum and charged system with 5.75 oz of r134a. All checks good. Advised customer on repair. Unit is now operating as designed.

Arrived for vent hood that is making a loud noise when in use. Upon inspection I found that the noise was coming from the fan blades hitting the screws used to install the damper by the installers (the screws are too long) installers will have to remove and replace them with a shorter ones for the issue to be resolved

"Arrived on site to test unit for cabinet getting hotter than usual. Customer stated she had ventilation cleared on a Friday 08/18/23 and issue persists. Ran ventilation test and unit mmm got yellow light for good gas poor electric. Ran unit and found element not cycling, just staying on. Accessed timer and found a connection was completely popped out. Secured connection and found element not cycling as designed. Checked fuses and harness with no issues. Advised to have company return or call different company to clear venting. Job complete."

"Arrived on site to inspect cooktop burners not igniting properly. Upon further inspection, I tested all burners and found the front left and right burners take too long to ignite creating a large flame. I attempted to adjust the burner heads following service pointer #W11343965 and there was no change. I removed and replaced the front left and right burner heads and retested and unit is operating as designed. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed."

Arrived onsite for previously diagnosed parts. On inspection I found the gears on the fc drawer were slightly worn. Installed the new gears and reinstalled the drawers. Tested unit and had customer test the unit and it is operating as designed now. No water leaks detected during service.

"Arrived on site to test unit for leaking from right side. Verified with claims POP is good and unit within warranty. Found evidence of calcium build up on right side of gasket. Ran unit and found a few drops of water dripping on right side. Followed water trail up to top right corner of door gasket where calcium build up is present. Replaced door gasket, unit working as designed. Job complete."
