Removed power cord and tested outlet, outlet is receiving proper voltage. Removed terminal block cover and found L1 wire completely burned through on the power cord and harness. "FC 39, RC 61 and the evaporator was completely filled with frost. There was no ice anywhere near the defrost element and that denoted the unit had never attempted defrost. Testing showed the defrost thermistor open and after letting it set for a few minutes with the evaporator cover off, it started to register with the control. I corrected the wiring harness placement and ensured the pins were fully connections within the plastic connector assemblies. I removed all frost from the unit. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service."

"Arrived on site to follow up on unit not responding to commands and constantly running drain. I checked the lower harness connection at the back and found the molex connector was not fully seated and clipped in, so it was making intermittent contact. I corrected this connector and tested. I found the unit is still trying to drain. I disconnected the pressure line at the control and junction, and could not blow through the UPPER SECTION. Lower harness section was fine. I adjusted the line and was able to blow through. Once I reset everything and reconnected, issue persisted and I again couldn't blow through the line when disconnected. Customer advise that every time they try to pull out the middle rack, the left-hand side seems to fall down. I open the door and found that the metal rack placement clip was left in an open position behind the front side of the tub, causing the slide not to draw out and the rack to come out whenever the rack was pulled out on the left-hand side. I closed the slide stopper and tested the unit. I found the unit working and operating as designed. I showed the customer the issue and advise them to make sure that they dont open those unless they are trying to remove those racks. the unit is working and operating as designed. Call complete. "Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator making a lot of noise, and intermittently not dispensing ice. Examined unit and found reservoir was freezing up, causing slow or no fills. I traced the noise to the freezer evap fan. Icemaker fill tube is leaking down the back wall onto the fan. I added some silicon to the fill tube to seal up the water flow and removed the ice chunk from the fan housing. Raised temp a bit to keep reservoir from freezing and advised on general use and care. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator no cool. Upon further inspection, I found the unit was cooling, but not getting as cold as it should. I found the FC evap cover with frost built up on it and when I removed the cover, I found the evaporator engulfed in ice/frost. I gained access to the defrost element harness and found the harness had separated from the molex connector and shorted out. I tested the element and found it open. I advised the customer of my findings and recommended they unplug the unit 24 hours before we return to repair and to place towels around the unit to catch any water that may leak when defrosting. I had my customer sign the waiver of damages when working with the refrigerator. I am ordering the defrost element/harness assembly and thermistor and scheduled return service for 08/09/24. I found the door is off center and tilted to the top left. When the door is closed the panel is rubbing in cabinets and keeping that corner from closing fully. Customer informed me Tri Supply is already handling the door panel replacement since the door has some discolored stainless. I advised the customer to have the door situation resolved before we make any adjustments since the door is coming off. Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that is making some ice but not much. The customer showed me what the new icemaker that was just replaced had made since yesterday and there were only 16 cubes in the bucket. I tested temps and the FC was at 3 degrees. I tested the icemaker and the arm was catching on the mold and it was reacting like the bin was full. I installed another icemaker. I ran a harvest test and the mold filled properly. Arrived onsite for washer pausing mid cycle. I found a F5E1 door latch error code present. Found the lid not showing closed correctly. I replaced the latch and ran diagnostics. "Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is still not cooling properly. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised the unit is still not making ice and theyve had to throw away multiple items in the refrigerator. I took temperature of the freezer and found it at 21?F and dropped to 19?F before completely turning off. I also took temperature of the refrigerator and found it at 46?F. I gained access to the compressor and did not find it hot at all. I open the refrigerator and freezer doors and found the compressor kick back on immediately and start cooling after three minutes. I found that once temperature hit 19?F again, the unit powered itself off from cooling. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Travis SR# 7739650107. He had me check resistance through the thermistor and we found the unit at 50?F after leaving the door open for two minutes. He asked me if there was anything in the refrigerator itself and I advise that the unit was cleared out. He stated that this unit is a load dependent refrigerator, meaning that the unit would not regulate temperature, unless if items were stored in it. He advised that the temperature fluctuations would cause the unit to short cycle and not drop down to proper temperatures because his unit did not track the freezer temperatures. He advised to make no repair at this time. I spoke to SW and we went through a variety of checks. I did find that the refrigerator thermistor that was supposed to be clipped into. The damper, was stuck in the air channel between the freezer and refrigerator section potentially causing this issue. I explain to the customer what I did and advise them of what tech line was requesting. Techline requested that they placed at least 5 gallons worth of water in the freezer to allow heat inside of the freezer section and allow the unit to cool for longer. He advised to call back if any other issues persist. Call complete. No parts were installed."

Continued to run fill tube test and water is entering into the ice maker. Ice box fan is running cold air as well. Found no errors pertaining to ice maker issue. WTW4816FW3 Arrived to install part. I was able to shut off the flood stage and found the control had F1E1 and F3E1 and cleared for testing. I gained access to the burner and saw that the ignitor was not glowing at full potential. I installed a new ignitor and the new IA alot brighter then the old ignitor. The oven is operating as designed during service and no gas leaks detected during service."

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer stopping mid cycle. Upon initial inspection I placed unit into diagnostics showing no error codes. I gained access to to all components and tested all thermostats, sensor and switches. All test good. I checked the all the connections and all connections look good. I found a good amount of lint buildup inside machine (photo) and around lint compartment. I cleaned all the lint and hair from the unit and lint filter. I will have the customer monitor the issue going forward. No parts installed."

Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not drying. Upon further inspection ran diagnostics and observed error code F7E1 (no heat). I then ran a test cycle to check that all components function properly. Heater is working and no issues with heater circuit. Heater was in lockout but now it is cleared. The customer has been using detergent pods with a rinse aid in conjunction with liquid rinse aid which can contribute to over suds and lead to problems with heater as well. I advised the customer to make sure their incoming water is hot enough and using correct detergent going forward. Unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service. No parts installed.

"MHW6630HW2 Arrived to inspect draining issue. I found service test mode had F5E2, F5E4, F0E1, F8E1 and F0E2 stored in memory and I cleared for testing. The unit was operable, but due to the error codes, I inspected the drain pump assembly. I found and removed a buoyant piece of foam that had been moving around within the strainer assembly and retested. The unit resumed all normal functions and operated as designed. I advised the customer on detergent type and amounts. Drain safety strap added. No leaks observed during service."

Arrived on site to install sump and motor assembly to resolve INOP wash motor. Replaced sump and tested. Verified motor kicked on and was washing as designed. No water leaks found. Parts used - W11613479.

Arrived onsite for a wall oven that seems like its gonna fall out after the last service. I found the oven had jumped the wall screw heads due to the correct trim never being installed on the oven. I removed the factory screws and replaced them with a screw that has a washer flange that the customer had. The oven is secure now and it cannot come off the new screws. Call complete.

"Arrived on site to diagnose washer with low fill levels when in use. Customer was unhappy with how low the water is filling, and clothes are even sometimes partially dry. I tested the unit and did find a slow fill, which I traced to the hot valve being turned OFF. I turned on the hot valve and showed customer cycle and fill settings to get an acceptable level of water. I also assisted them in setting up the Maytag app to get software updates on their phone. Tested and confirmed proper levels and unit working as designed. Repair completed. No parts needed."

"Arrived on site or a washing machine that has a broken agitator. Inspected unit and work area. The customer showed me that the top the agitator had broken again, but the bottom part of the agitator was still secured. I found the agitator bolt still in its place, but the agitator top broken off of the lower portion of the agitator. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Rich SR# 7739654601. He advised that because the agitator top keeps breaking, the issue would have to be with the customer overloading it for yanking out the clothes that are tangled, causing the agitator to break. I did advise him that the customer has been trying to keep their load sizes to a minimum. He advised at this point, the only thing to do would be to replace the agitator and agitator bolt due to this ongoing issue. He advised to make no further repair to the machine. I replaced the agitator and agitator bolt and tested the unit. I found the unit working and operating as designed. Call complete. WP3951744 and W10772621."
