arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not drying dishes. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested and unit operates as designed. I found that the unit door rubbed badly on the right side when closing. I re-centered the unit and tested the door and it closes without rubbing on either side. Customer advised that she uses pods for detergent and is not using rinse aids. I advised the customer to not use pods, but use something like a liquid or liquid gel detergent and to use the rinse aid as it would help in the drying process. No water leaks observed during service.

arrived on site to inspect ice in the fc. Upon further inspection, I found that the fc Evap had ice buildup on it. I used my steamer to remove the ice to further inspect. I found no damage to the Evap or its components. I inspected the drain tube and found that it was gapped from the bottom of the unit approximately 1/8 inch allowing warm air to go into the fc which could/can cause ice build up. I used manufacturer approved silicone and sealed the gap. I tested the unit and the unit operated as designed. I advised the customer that it is possible too, that the fc door was left cracked open or something may have gotten lodge keeping it open. No water leaks observed during service.

arrived on site to inspect noisy washer. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested. Unit tested good with no error codes at the end of the test. I manually tested the unit in high spin to attempt to reduplicate the complaint by the customer which is the unit makes a loud noise during spin cycle. During manual test mode in the high spin cycle, I found that the unit was not centered/balanced. I centered and balanced the unit and retested and unit tested good. I instructed the customer on detergent use; how much to use and what types of detergents are best. No water l ask observed during service.

I found that the drain tube had a 1/8 inch gap between it and the bottom of the unit so I used manufacturer approved silicone to seal the gap. Tested the unit and the unit tested good. arrived on site to inspect washer not working. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics mode and tested. I found that the unit would not drain as the drain pump would not engage. I checked the drain pump and found that it's connection was not fully seated. I reseated the drain pump and tested and unit operated as designed. Customer complained that the unit is leaving residue on their clothing and also staining. Customer advised that they have a water softner, as well. I instructed the customer to cut back on detergent use to amount one or two teaspoons and to use a less concentrated brand. Advised that due to the water softner, it will not break the detergent down as much causing more detergent debris at the end of the wash cycle. No water leaks observed during service.

WTW4816FW2 Arrived on site for “backfilling out of standpipe onto floor” complaint. Inspected unit and found, after filling unit with water, that standpipe was not receiving water at an acceptable rate. Unit would fill standpipe and would have to unplug and replug unit. Did this over ten times on one tub full of water. Home drain system has restriction and needs to be addressed by licensed plumber. Calibrated unit and unit is performing as designed.

Whirlpool Oven Model RB270PXYB2. Arrived onsite for the wall oven with the lower oven light burning out quickly. Mr stated that he couldn’t get a bulb to go in it anymore. I found the threads in the socket arced and burned up. I replaced the light socket assembly and tested it. The light is working as designed. Call complete.
