On arrival verified complaint of running drain constantly and no function. On opening control panel found large amount of pest has damaged main control board. Documents with AIG/WPL 7738276646. Warranty will not cover repair. Job complete.

"Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed parts. Inspected unit and work area. I replaced the compressor, dryer, and access valve and charged the unit up with nitrogen. Found no pressure drops or leaks present. I vacuumed down the unit to -31 psi and find precious hold again. I charged the unit up with 56 g of R600 refrigerant and tested the unit. Arrived onsite for a oven with a door that would not seal properly at the top. I found this to be true (see photo) I replaced the hinges and found that the door now seals up properly

"KFGC506JSS05 Arrived to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. Initial inspection revealed the orifice had a piece of tape on the face, fully blocking the flow of gas into the bake tube. I suspect it was put there during the installation of the orifice, as this is common practice to prevent it from being lost during installation. After removing the tape, the unit operated as designed and heated to the set temperature, cycling as expected. I elected to replace the bake tube, due to customer concerns from prior service, but it was not fully necessary. Operational test good, no gas leaks detected during service."

I found the unit would actually not power up the control and after obtaining an extension cord from the property maintenance, I was able to diagnose a failed connection within the control section of the control assembly. I removed and replaced the control and then unit started cooling. Due to the apartment not having power, I could not leave the refrigerator plugged in for long term monitoring and cooling. Amperage measurement was within expected norms and I did perform thermography in the first few minutes of operation, and found signs showing the unit was starting ti cool as expected. No leaks observed during service."

"Arrived onsite for washer with LF error. On inspection made sure that the water line was not clogged then went to the component testing and cold worked perfectly but not hot. I looked and found the hot water was turned off. I asked the customer to show me what setting she was using, bedding and normal where the 2 she used most of the time. Informed her if she use those setting she need to set it on cold water only. It was set to warm. I explain that it is only butting half the water in the unit that it needs because the hot is turn off. I set all the settings to cold so it would not happen again. No water leaks detected during service."

"KRFF577KPS02 Arrived to inspect ice production issues. I found a large amount of gapping at the back of the low-profile ice maker housing. Pressing the housing back to the correct mounting position, sealed the gapping and prevented airflow from the RC section from leaking into the system. The chassis required door spears and leveling. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service."

Arrived on site to test unit for RC door not closing properly. Customer had door propped closed on arrival. Moved item used to hold door in place and RC door would automatically open itself. Found water bottle was preventing door from closing. Rearranged items in door and customer now satisfied with improvement. Job complete.

"WFG550S0LZ1 Arrived to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. I removed and replaced the center burner, noting the issue was two-fold, moderately plugged vapor channels within the casting that were easily wiped away, and the low flame height mis-adjusted. The front right required debris removal from the channel that directed the air-fuel moisture to the igniter and when corrected, ignited at every attempt. Operational test good, no gas leaks detected during service."

Arrived onsite for a DW that is showing F8E4 float switch code. There was some water in the drip tray. Cleared the water and tested the unit and found that the water inlet was letting water in even though the unit was not call for water. I replaced the water valve and tested the unit and found unit operating as designed

Arrived on site for a refrigerator. That is not cooling. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that he unplugged it because the unit was running but that it just wouldnt call. I plugged the unit in and found the compressor immediately start to run. Found the compressor blowing .368 A and no heat coming from the condenser indicating the unit was not cooling and had a weak compressor or a leak. "Arrived on site to inspect range oven not igniting. Upon further inspection, I tested the oven Bake mode and found the burner would not ignite. "Arrived on site to inspect washer leaving white residue on the clothing. Upon further inspection, the customer provided some clothing with white powder residue on them (photos). I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and tested. The unit operated as designed; however, I found a small amount of suds in the water. I manually tested the hot water fill and filled the tub and then tested agitation and during this time, more suds appeared. Due to a service pointer regarding this issue, I removed and replaced the main control and calibrated the unit then retested. I raised the top panel and removed the tub ring and inspected the outer section of the basket. There is residue on the tub, but not enough to cause the issue the customer is having. I made recommendations for use and care, as well as, detergent use (water softener system). No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

On arrival verified complaint of agitator disconnected. Found during visual inspection bolt has no loctite. Replaced bolt with new one with factory loctite. Found no other visual damage to agitator. After further inspection found gearcase is not leaking oil but shifter was in wrong position and causing the splutch to grind on itself. Splutch was almost completely worn away. Replaced actuator and splutch and ran diag cycle no noise found and unit spins and agitates correctly. All operational tests are good. Job complete no leaks detected during service.

The customer stated that they have tried messing with the dryness levels and that the clothes are coming out a little bit dryer, but they keep having a check vent signal on their dryer and clothes are always coming out completely dry. Around the unit through diagnostics and did not find any stored error codes. Around the unit through an auto test and found everything working and operating as designed. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Butch SR# 7738313549. He advised initially that there had to be something wrong with the venting even though the customer had just gotten the vents cleaned. I explained to him that I had previously been working up until this month. He advised at that point that he would go ahead and replace the inlet and outlet thermistors, as well as the control. "Arrived on site to inspect washer not spinning. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F0E5-off balance. I cleared the code and tested and the unit began to make a loud grinding noise during agitation and during spin cycle, the basket failed to spin properly and the agitator spun out. I tilted the unit back and found where gearcase oil had leaked out and also found water on the gearcase spindle at the pulley bolt (photos). I attempted to remove the agitator, but the bolt would not break free as its possibly rusted/seized (photo). I found mold inside the agitator at the agitator bolt (photo). I advised the customer of my findings and advised that I would submit all the parts needed to complete the repair to their extended warranty and our office would contact them if the warranty approves the repairs. Arrived onsite for a washer leaking from the back at the bottom. I tested the washer multiple times I diagnostics and could not get the washer to leak. I ran a regular cycle and found the water not shutting off and continuing to fill until the gear case was setting on the floor. I found the pressure hose restricted at the tub. I cleared the hose and tested finding it working as designed. I cleared the F3E2 error. I found the customers load and go adding to much detergent and set on max dosage. I went over setting the dispenser with the customer and adjusted it. I found a dried water trail under the hot water connection at the valve. The customer stated when he shut the hot water off the leak stopped. I found no hose washers installed on the fill hoses. The customer had 3 washers that the installers left him. I put two on the cold water line and one on the hot water line at the machine. The customer needs to get another washer for the house side of the hot water line. The suspension is stretched out and needs to be replaced. Ordering W11396716 suspension. RS for Thursday 2/1.; ordrng 1 W11396716 (Suspension)

Arrived on site for not spinning and draining bulky loads only. Upon arrival ran diagnostics and got F8-E1 long fill. Found hot water valve on off position and cycle was set on hot wash. Ran a heavy duty cycle with clothes. Unit fills and begins washing correctly. Unit drains and spins correctly. Found that unit is have issues when washing blankets and using 3 times too much detergent. Advised customer on load sizes and detergent use. Unit is operating as designed. No leaks present. "Arrived on site for a refrigerator. That is not cooling properly. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advise that he has several temperature devices in his refrigerator and that at one point, the refrigerator got up to 49?F before the unit started cooling. He advised that he changed the temperatures on the user interface and that that has seemingly been helping but he has been noticing temperature fluctuations within the unit and just wanted to have it checked. I found the unit set to -3?F in the freezer and 35?F for the refrigerator. I checked temperatures and found the freezer at -3?F and the refrigerator at 34?F. Found all fans working an operating as designed. Found no evidence of any defrost issues inside of the unit. I did advise the customer that temperature dials only check air temperature and do not check product temperature. I did advise that I cannot determine exactly why the temperatures reached that height, but did inform the customer that the unit does go through temperature fluctuations as does any other refrigerator. I advised him that what hes looking for is product temperature as the product temperature will never get as cold or as hot as the air temperature can get. On arrival verified complaint of microwave not activating. Customer stated not always responsive on control. Was able to replicate for me. Customer states when firmly pushing on door it will start the cycle. Ui will just click when unresponsive but light is off in the microwave. Recommend door switches/interlocks. "LFXS26973D/01 Arrived to inspect leak. I found the leak was from the back of the unit, at the FC ice maker water supply entry point. The fill tube had frozen and I suspected due to the valve that had been replaced prior, slightly weeping. I temporarily cleared the ice and am reordering the valve assembly that had been replaced prior. No leaks of the water supply observed during service. Office to contact the customer to arrange return service, due to customer availability. ; ordrng 1 AJU72992601 (Water Valve) and 1 MJX61892901 (Valve) and 1 MJX41869202 (Valve)"

"Arrived onsite for dishwasher not drying. On inspection found error F7E1, ran the diagnostic cycle and the heating element never came on. Installed a new heating element and tested old one. The old heating element was OL when tested for ohms. The new heating element is drawing 7.2amps now. The unit is operating as designed no water leaks detected during service."

Arrived on site for microwave not heating. Unit starts but just buzzing. Was able to get water to heat but with loud noise. Removed control panel. Ran again and noise was gone. Inspected high voltage and it checks ok. Replaced control board. Verified operation. Working as normal with no noise. Call complete.
