"Arrived on site to diagnose washer that was making noise when agitating. Customer showed me a video of noise making a noticeable clack when reversing direction while agitating. Noise did seem loud in video. Ran unit and confirmed whiplash clicking from direction reversal agitation. Checked bottom end and found no abnormal movement / play / damage. I added some tension to the slider spring to ensure it wasn't making contact with the rotor at all. I tested again and found the amount of noise I heard as consistent with this model, and advised my customer that some whiplash and clicking is normal since the bottom end does allow for minor play. Customer is not satisfied with the unit and feels the noise is too loud, and could cause issues down the road. Called and reported findings and previous gearcase repair to tech line, SR7740967700. Techline does confirm that some whiplash noise is normal, and if there is no excessive play or visible damage / scraping, they have no recommended repair and this is working as designed. Customer wanted to also notate their dissatisfaction with the unit and would like an exchange. Advised to contact customer service for further assistance as unit is operating within its designed parameters. No parts replaced at this time. Call completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect microwave not heating. Upon further inspection, using my microwave tester, is tested the unit for 30 seconds and it failed to heat and was making a loud humming noise. Removed the unit from the cabinets and gained access to the magnetron, capacitor and diode and tested the components. I found the three mentioned parts had failed. I removed and replaced the magnetron, capacitor, and diode and retested and unit is operating as designed. Recommended charging 250 psi nitrogen for 10 minutes and checking for leaks. If leak is found, document. If no leaks found and pressure holding, pull extended vacuum and recharge. Pressure did hold. "Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator that is not cooling well in either compartment. On arrival found both compartments cool, but not close to cold. Evap did not have a full frost pattern. Noticed that the compressor was clicking on / off quickly. I replaced the start device to prevent any overload / short cycling. Compressor was pretty hot, likely due to the short cycling. Retested unit and found compressor is now staying on, and did not reset or short cycle. Confirmed evap is now showing a full frost pattern and cooling correctly. Customer will follow up if cooling ceases, or trips again and we need to order a full sealed system repair. Parts used - WPW10197428. Call completed."

I verified that the temperature is good in both sections. I tested the ice maker by running a test and observed how the ice maker is operating as designed. The motor is not showing any signs of failing or issues. I gained access to the water filter and found that the filter was bad and needed to be changed. The customer provided a new filter and I changed it. At this time the ice maker and refrigerator are operating as designed. The customer will monitor ice production and contact whirlpool if further service is needed. No water leaks observed during service."

"Arrived on site to inpect dishwasher making a lot of noise. Upon futhrt inspection, I placed the dishwasher into diagnostics and observed no error codes. I ran a test wash and couldn't replicate or any abnormal noise. The customer advised that the operational noises still seemed too loud. I measured the noise level with decible meter and measured 54-62 called whirlpool techline to document my findings and see what they suggest at this point. According to the manufacturer, there is no noise rating for this dishwasher and that since the machine is operating without mechanical issues, that this noise level is at the expected and reasonable level. Arrived on site for unit not turning on. Took unit down to inspect found left bolt holding unit to top cabinet no even t8ght and loose Connor bolt is completely broken. As I'm disassembling unit keep finding broken plastic pieces and exhaust cover broken and falling off took pictures and notified supervisor. Found online 20 amp fuse missing from unit. Checked for L1 to ground shorts. None found ( no load). Tested underload with 1 cupm9f water and 15 amp mini breaker installed. When calling for heat the push to start relay on the control will not stay energized. Unit will need a newcontro part# 10245197. Ordering parts office to reschedule. Was unable to hang unit back up due to broken bolt fastner possible safety issue placed unit 8n room on floor took picture. When the vent was off I found the dryer cycling as designed and heating as designed. No issues present with the unit itself customer will need to get a new hose and have the vent cleaned. "Arrived on site to test unit for ice not dispensing. Upon arrival customer stated water will constantly enter the bin causing ice to clump up into one big block. Verified issue, removed housing and found major ice buildup around the fill funnel area and onto the ice maker frame. Once ice built up and the ice maker started a harvest, tray clipped the ice causing the ice tray to break. Removed ice and replaced ice maker (W10873791). Ran a harvest cycle and a fill, when filling noticed spray pattern was being affected by calcium deposits in the fill funnel. Cleared out deposits and test again, ice maker is now filling properly. Unit is hooked up to an under the counter RO system and pressure is slightly too low. Advised customer to get the pressure issue resolved for the fill to work at its optimal performance. Unit is now running as designed, no leaks detected, job complete."

WTW4855HW1 Arrived on site for a washer not working correctly. On arrival I ran diagnostic no error codes client complaint was clothes going to one side then getting off balance product was balanced when i arrived. . I replaced control board I've already replaced all other parts nothing more to replace. I calibrated and tested product its working as its designed i made sure it was balance don't see any issues at all . If there is a call back please send another tech for a second opinion.

I pulled the unit out and gained access to the magnetron and inverter board and found the wave guide burnt at the top (photo). I removed the magnetron and found it burnt as well (photo). I advised the customer of my findings and advised i would have to call the manufacturer on Monday to report my findings and create a file. I reassembled the unit and removed the microwave fuse for safety. I advised the customer that the oven is still operable. Also advised that once I receive the file number, I would text the number to the phone number on the ticket and someone would contact them within 3-5 business days to discuss a resolution. Arrived on site to test unit for no ice production from RC ice maker. Found error E5. Replaced ice maker(W11658802) and triple valve(W11579561). Unit completed harvest cycle. Ice maker filled as designed. No leaks detected. Job complete.

"Arrived on site to inspect washer with lid locked and nothing working. Upon further inspection, I found the unit display flashing the error code F9E1-long drain. I placed the unit in diagnostics and cleared the code then tilted the unit back to find the lower main harness had been re-wired at the drain pump. The tub was full of water at the time of arrival. I tested continuity at the drain pump harness and found it was bad. I tested the drain pump and it is within ohms range. I removed and replaced the lower main harness and tested the unit on a drain and spin cycle and the unit failed to drain. I tested the control at the J6 connector and found no voltage going to the pump. I removed and replaced the main control and retested and was able to get the water drained from the unit. Calibrated the unit and tested in diagnostics and unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed. W11513246, W11643701"

I asked client if they could flip the breaker on and off . I then checked polarity, and it was reading correctly. Arrived on site to test unit for RF switch smoking. Found molex was melting causing issue. Cut molex out and used space connections to correct harness. Replaced switch(W10857622) and unit now working as designed. Job complete.

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher error code. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F8E4-leak, F9E2-drain pump failure, and F2E1-UI stuck key. Cleared the codes and continued with testing and the unit operated as designed. I checked for error codes at the end of testing and found FAE2-vent motor failure. I gained access to the drain pan under the unit and to the vent inside the door. I found water in the drain pan and the vent motor extremely hot. Also found the customer has a water softener system and are using the incorrect detergent as there is detergent build up on the element and at the base of the door in the tub. I removed and replaced the float switch assembly and retested and at the end of testing, I found the vent error and drain pump error again. Also, found the control panel lifted on the right side as the plastic mount is broken which could be the issue for the stuck key error if liquid has gotten inside on the UI. I am ordering the control panel, main control, vent, and drain pump, along with CNOTE-LSO PER CUSTOMER REQUEST and office to schedule return service. No water leaks observed during service. ; ordrng 1 W11414073 (Vent) and 1 W11629912 (Main control) and 1 W11622495 (Control panel) and 1 CNOTE (LSO PER CUSTOMER REQUEST) and 1 W11412291 (Drain pump)"

"Arrived onnsite for washer making a loud noise during spin. Testing found no error codes, found evidence of drain lines hitting against the wall causing the noise. Moved washer and zip tied unit. Verified operarion. Call complete."

Arrived on-site for unit not cooling in both cabinets. Upon arrival customer had stated he found a puddle of oil on his wood floor causing a stain on his flooring. Unit has not cooled since day one. Inspected unit and found indeed unit was not cooling and found another puddle of oil on flooring towards the front of the unit. Unplugged unit and found gurgling sound throughout the refrigerant lines well after unit was unplugged. Inspected further and found condenser leaking oil. Took pictures and contacted tech line and spoke with Joe. Determined unit was damaged during delivery. Provided sr number SR#7740956689 customer will need to contact customer service for resolution. No parts used job completed. -

Arrived on site to test unit for leaking. Found drain tube was brittle and not present. Replaced drain tube(W10619951) and found valve weeping. Replaced valve(WP12544124) and cleared unit of ice build up. Unit is now working as designed. Office to collect 403.62 from CC on file. Job complete.

Arrived on site to test unit for unit smoking when oven is on. Customer had never used it before so it was the first time her turning the oven on so it was just burning the element off as normal operation of the unit. Turned oven on to 425? to pre heat unit pre heated correctly job complete. Called safety#7740831514

Arrived on site for unit making noise on lower hinge. Ran through checks with office. Took videos and pictures. Unit making a 'plastic' creek sound. Feedback from the customer is that the manufacturer suggests replacing both hinges although lower hinge has already been replaced. Confirmed unit is functioning and cooling properly. No signs of gapping. Custom panel is heavy and would need more manpower to disassemble. Spoke with office and will address how to move forward per trade care response.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine.That is making abnormal sounds during agitation. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that it sounds like a huge grinding sound coming from underneath the washer. I tilted the washer back and found the splutch assembly melted, indicating a drive shaft or shifter issue. I also found the cam and belt worn. I replaced the gear case, belt, splutrch assembly, and shifter. I tested the unit and found d the unit working and operating as designed with no abnormal sounds present. Call complete.
