Model KDTE334GPS60, Arrived on call for dishes not drying, checked for error codes and got 5-1 which is door stuck open which was the only error, ran diag. And found that heater is coming on it is drawing 7.7 amos on black wire under dishwasher which is good, gave customer instruction on soap and rinse aid, home is not on water softner customer had rinse aid set to 3 so set it to 2 and as for soap will need to start with 1 table spoon of liquid and let it fill and slosh for 2 min. And if sudsing reduce to tea spoon of liquid and instructed customer it is mandatory to run hot water at sink before starting dishwasher which incoming water temp is goot on hot 137 degrees, these insteuctions will help with drying, instructed customer aswell beveled top plating will still have standing water and plastics will not dry this is normal, call complete, no parts needed, call complete.

Whirlpool dishwasher WDF520PADM5. Arrived on site to diagnose a dishwasher that is tripping the breaker. Tested all parts and components of dishwasher and found no mechanical failures at this time and no electrical shorts present in unit at time of service. All parts and components are operating properly, and unit is not drawing excessive power. I did note unit is hooked to AFCI or GFCI breaker which is not recommended, Per the manufacturer, for an appliance to be hooked up to this type of circuit. As there are parts and components on the units that are intentionally not grounded, that can cause the circuits to trip. Homeowner will need electrician to correct electrical issue to complete repairs by installing a standard breaker. No other repairs can be done by appliance express at this time as the fault is not in the unit itself, and no water leaks were found at time of service.

With sensers for fresh food, and main control, customer to allow for 24-48 hours for proper cooling, unit is pulling down in temp in fresh food section, also did find evap senser was in line were cap line goes in to the evap coil which was the wrong freon line, placed evap senser in correct position in fresh food section,call complete. Model KDTE104DSS1, Arrived on call for unit not draining and burning plastic smell, found piece of glass stuck in the impeller of the drain pump and was not able to drain and burning smell was fromseal in drain pump burning, will need drain pump, drain pump 81.02, svc/labor 149.99 dw545 which =231.01 plus tax 19.06 which = 250.07, customer agreed to est., installed drain pump and tested and all checks good, unit is draining and burning smell is gone. Call complete.
