Arrived on site for refrigerator not dispensing ice. Upon arrival confirmed issue and found cause of failure was due to ice bucket teeth breaking from bucket and not mounting to the auger shaft correctly.

Arrived on site for dishwasher not working. On inspection have F8E4 and F8E2. Found water in the overflow tray and unit will not run diagnostics mode. Clean the water up and ran unit in diagnostics mode. The drain pump is working but it is making a grinding noise. Took the drain pump off and called for the unit to drain and the pump was cutting off and on continuously. It stopped working for about 10 seconds and came back on. Reinstalled the pump and ran it through diagnostics mode again and it finished the cycle. The drain was making noise the whole time it was on. Ordering a drain pump. "Arrived on site for a washer that would not drain and would not open. Upon arrival I tested the drain pump from the control through the harness and found that it was showing open, I then checked the drain pump itself and found that it tested within spec. Upon inspection of the harness I found that it was broken in multiple spots I attempted to repair it but the was not enough wire left over to make a proper splice. "WRV986FDEM01 Arrived to inspect interior light issue. The customer advised me the light issue actually occurs when the unit has lost power and continuously clicks. Cycling the power to the unit immediately remedies the issue and it occurs two to three times per month. I performed a full inspection of the unit and found none of the usual indicators of interior moisture within the unit, as is usually found when the reported problems occur. The three way valve solenoid has already been replaced, but the usual click associated with that issue, is different than the customer described sound, approximately a click every 3/4 of a second and is continuous until power interrupt. Thee were no signs of moisture within the cabinet at any accessible points and frosting was not an issue with either evaporator. I suspect one of the evaporator connectors may be getting wet, or an issue with the control section of the unit and the customer believes the issue has gotten significantly worse since recent power outages. Thermography of the power supply showed a slightly elevated DC regulator temperature as well. The drain pan has bowing and Technical Service Pointer #: W11092686 Rev. G applies. The right crispers right slide does not retract well either. No leaks observed during service. "Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not dispensing ice. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit does not dispense ice because it doesnt make ice in the refrigerator compartment. Ran the unit through diagnostics and found all tests passed except for the harvest and the icemaker error codes. Found an E2 indicating the motor had lost position. Found the icemaker completely dry. When I went through the harvest, I found that the motor would not turn. "Arrived on site to inspect venthood fan not working. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that while the fan is on it will turn off on its own and doesnt matter what speed its in. I turned the fan on and it came on without issue. I removed the harness cover and moved some wires and found the fan cutting out. I found the fan molex connector was damaged and was not making good connection. When I went to replace the fan assembly, I found the new part was damaged (blades broken) (photo). I was able to replace the fan and harness, but will need to order another assembly to replace the blades that are cracked. "Arrived on site to insect refrigerator ice maker not working. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics and checked for ice maker error codes in test 56. I found E2-motor lost position. I tested the ice maker in test 57 and it failed to harvest. Tested the motor in test 59 and again it failed to harvest. I researched the ice maker and found it out of stock with no ETA. I advised the customer that I am ordering the ice maker and hv control and the office will contact them to schedule return service once the part is received. No water leaks observed during service. The unit had difficulty starting the compressor and I monitored current. 12 amps declining to 10 before start device shutdown occurred and I removed and replaced the start device. "Arrived on site to diagnose range that had tripped breaker. Talked with customer who said unit tripped during preheat 1 time, and has not repeated since. Examined unit and tested 2 preheat cycles for bake and broil, no issues found. Advised the range is on a GFCI breaker, which is known to be problematic with new appliances. If issue repeats the builder should be consulted to change to an updated breaker. Call complete."

Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed parts. Inspected unit and work area. Replaced the vent motor and tested the unit. Still had the same issue. Removed all of my loads off of the control trying to determine what part of the machine was causing the issue and found that no loads removed would get the unit to start any kind of cycle or drain. Replaced the user interface and tested the unit. I still have the same issue with the new user interface. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Rob SR# 7735795276. He had me check voltage. Found voltage drop to 50 V at the control as soon as power was restored. He advised that the issue was with a floating neutral and that this was completely an electrical supply issue.

Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed part. Inspected unit and work area. Replaced the dual water valve and tested the unit both for water dispensing an ice fill testing. Both worked as designed with no leaks present. Call complete.

Customer advised they replaced he filter and purged the system and then went to get some water and it wouldnt dispense. By disconnecting the inlet water line from the filter head I tested the valve at the back of the unit and found it dispensing water. I removed and replaced the filter head and dual valve and retested and unit is operating as designed. I recommended the customer their filters directly from the manufacturer or one the local box stores that get their supply from the manufacturer and not from the internet. "Arrived onsite for a no heat dryer. I found the thermal cutoff open causing the no heat. I found everything else working as designed. I installed the thermal cutoff kit, vacuumed the lint, and tested the dryer. I found the dryer cycling between 125-170 degrees on the high setting and working as designed. I tested the dryer vent and found it partially restricted which caused the issue. I advised the customer to not use the dryer until the vents have been cleaned. Call complete.

"Arrived on site and inspected dishwasher and found overfill tray is full of water. After clearing Found incoming water valve connection is leaking, Tightened water connection and started a wash cycle and it is no longer leaking. Sent video to KB/service management.

"Arrived to inspect no spin. The unit had F7E1 stored and the basket was difficult to rotate and made a grinding noise when turned by hand. Initial assessment was failed bearings, but inspection of the gear case area revealed the cam assy had failed. I removed and replaced the cam and re-calibrated the control. The unit operated as designed in manual and automatic modes. Drain safety strap attached. No leaks observed during service.

"253.9266411 Arrived to over-temp alarm. I tested the temperature and it was -5?F. I found the compressor would immediately start up after interruption of power, and should have tripped the start device. The compressor drew .94 amps, but throughout the entire service call and near the low shutoff temperature, it ran continuously. The customer reported the compressor runs nearly constantly as well. The compressor has lost a significant amount of ability to move refrigerant and the only repair would be to replace the compressor and the customer did not want to invest in this unit due to age.

Arrived on site to diagnose a washer that is not cycling properly. Found bad tub bearing in unit along with counter balance issues.

Upon further inspection, I found the top panel badly dented at the front of the panel and several scratches in the middle of the top panel (photos). Arrived on site for dishwasher not finishing cycle. Ran unit in diagnostics mode and found no issues. Called in talked to Susie and she said that the diagnostics did test the heating circuit. Gain access to the control board and found a burnt mark next to P9 which is one side of the heating element. The heating element ohmed out at 15 ohms specs 10 to 30 ohms. It was good. Replaced the control board and tested unit. Informed customer that the main harness is brittle and may need to be change out going forward. No water leaks detected during service.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that has an issue with the lid lock and controls. Inspected unit and work area. I got some advised the unit just makes a clicking sound and will not actually turn the unit on. Did confirm the customers complaint and attempted to run the unit into diagnostics. Found the unit would not go into diagnostics. Disassemble the unit and Checked resistance on the drain pump. Found 1.9 ohms of resistance indicating a short. Checked resistance through the latch and found the latch was also out of range. Advise the customer they would need a new latch, drain pump, and control for repair. The customer advised that he did not want to pay for that much on a washer that was just out of warranty. He is going to contact whirlpool to see if he can get further assistance or he will just buy himself a new washer. Call complete."

"Arrived on site and Washer/dryer combo is in a tiny house, there is extremely limited space, see pictures. inspected washer and found it is leaking from in between tub and drive system. Took video and sent it to KB/service management. Wash it would need a complete rebuild and cost for the time and two technicians because of location would not make it cost-effective

"Arrived on site to diagnose dishwasher with no door tension. Examined door and found almost no resistance when opening and closing. Examined hinges and found right side spring bar had become disconnected from the hinge. I was able to reseat the spring and bar and tested unit. Found it was opening and closing properly. If issue repeats the RIGHT SIDE hinge needs to be replaced. Unit now working properly, repair completed."

"Arrived on site to diagnose range with oven that is not heating. Ran unit and found gas triggers, but unit is not sparking at all. Traced failure to ignition board. Replaced and ran again. Found unit sparking and lighting properly. Repair completed."

"Arrived onsite for a washer to replace the previous diagnosed parts. I ran the service cycle and found that when the unit would agitate it would make a popping noise from the wash plate area. I checked the gear case, slider, and clutch finding them all good and no signs of oil. I found the feet screwed all the way in the chassis not giving good enough clearance from the floor to the rotor. I lowered the feet all the way out and leveled the washer. When I had the slider and clutch removed I could not spin the center shaft of the wash plate without the outer shaft trying to move. I removed the agitator and wash plate and found a coin wedged between the wash plate and basket causing the issue and the noise. I removed the coin and reassembled the machine. I tested the washer again in service diagnostics and it completed the cycle and worked as designed with all test passing. There were no water leaks present at the time of service. Call complete."

"MVW6230HW3 Arrived to inspect code and non-operation. I discussed the issue with the customer and on the load the issue occurred, they heard a loud, strange noise. The unit had an unbalanced load code upon my arrival and within service test mode, F0E9 and F0E5 wee displayed. I cleared the codes for testing in manual mode and found all functions were present and could not recreate the failure. I did note the basket was leaning against the inside from the of the chassis and adjusted the leveling legs to center the rotating mass and also re-calibrated the ECU to the drive assembly. I advised the customer of my findings and described the units off-balance detection system. The customer will contact us if there are further issues. No leaks observed during service."

"WDF520PADM9 Arrived to inspect no operation. I found the unit had no stored error codes and operation within service test mode appeared to be ok. During further testing, I found the water supply valve not fully on and it was causing the anti-hammer device, to hammer. After fully turning the water on, the issue was resolved. "WRS325SDHZ08 Arrived to inspect items freezing within RC. There were remnants of ice within the diffuser outlet, into the RC and the customer advised the the issue had cleared up prior to our arrival. The chassis was incorrectly set during installation and the top of the doors was mismatched by 1/4. Via front adjustment rollers, I was able to correct the chassis twist and correct the door mis-alignment. The lower corners of both chambers required sealing to further prevent air incursion. I verified the defrost system was working as designed. The diffuser had broken due to the amount of ice that formed within it and I removed and replaced. The dispenser was clearly showing signs of dripping after dispense and I corrected the issue within the dispenser assembly. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service."

Arrived on site for washer needing previously diagnosed control. Upon arrival reconfirmed issue but found silicon mold as well as ACU casing cracked in indicating drain pump had over heated and shorted control. Found resistance to drain pump at 20ohms even. Also, customer pointed out a burn mark in the top of the RC section (photo) which was covered with permagum and foil tape. I removed the tape and permagum and took another photo for the file and called techline to report. There is an SR number from previous service. I spoke to Travis and advised of my findings of the moisture build up, previous repairs and the burn mark in the RC liner and Travis advised to order the liner repair kit. I advised the liner is grey and Travis advised he would get all info documented in the previous SR#7735758790 and to give the customer the SR number and have them contact customer service for further assistance. I advised the customer of my findings and provided them with the SR number. I leveled the unit as the chassis was twisted and possibly keeping the RC door from sealing properly. No repairs made and no water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived onsite and found unit operating with fast door swing due to leveling. Repaired by leveling. Unit is now operating as designed. Swapped handles to correct orientation. Unit is now operating as designed.

Arrived onsite for microwave not starting some of the time. Determined cause to be customer letting microwave door fly shut causing pop open on the left side. Made adjustments to the level and coached customer on the baseline habit being following the door closed with hands to best care for the switches and hinges. Advised customer on repair. Unit operates properly 10/10 times when the soft close method is applied. Unit does not have a propensity to disengage the switch u less the door is slammed shut hands free.

Arrived onsite to complete repairs. Determined cause of noises to be the pulley wheel. Determined the front drum seal to be complete and only needed to be shaped. Replaced compressor fan. Unit is now operating as designed. Advised customer on the repair.

"MVWB835DW0 Arrived to inspect washer stalling during cycle. Service mode had F8E1 as the only stored code and I cleared for testing. All functions were present within manual test mode and I found no faults. The cold was slightly slower during fill than the hot, but appeared to be within MFG requirements. Automatic test mode revealed the unit continuously filling and I interrupted the cycle for inspection. I found the water level pressure line at the board end had belled and came loose. I removed the swollen portion and reattached the line, ensuring a positive connection. All further testing was normal and the unit resumed normal operation. No leaks observed during service. Warranty applied to service."

Arrived on site. Removed freezer door installed new freezer door checked door operation good.

"Arrived on site for Squeaking or Squealing Noise. Upon arrival, ran diagnostics and there are no save error codes. Ran components test and squeaking coming from under machine during spin. Inspected under components under machine. Found cam pulley is worn and belt is loose. Need to replace cam and belt. Replaced cam W10721967 and beltW11239857. Test unit by spinning unit with load of service towels and continues to make a lower pitched whistling sound when basket is stopping. Inspected motor and is good. Replaced gearcase W11449840. Test unit and is now operating correctly. No leaks present at this time. Job complete"

Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed parts. On arrival installed the pump on the dishwasher and ran unit in diagnostics mode. It passed diagnostics and no water leaks were detected during service.

"Arrived on site for cooktop flame going out. On inspection found that the orifices were the same size on all the burners, .74mm change the large burner to 103 mm and the center burner to .94. Informed the customer that the burner were being starved for fuel having the smaller orifice installed. The gas regulator was set not natural gas, switched the it to LP. No gas leakes detected during service."

"Arrived onsite for washer still making noise. On inspection found that the gearcase was bad. I replaced gearcase and stator, running unit in diagnostics mode. Washer is operating as designed, No loud noise during diagnostics. Will inform customer to run a load in The unit to fully test the machine. No water leaks detected during service."

Arrived onsite for washer making noise during spin cycle. Upon arrival inspected unit. Ran test and found unit would make noise at the beginning and end of the spin cycle but not during. Inspected underneath unit and found little tension on belt. Belt spiked off easily. Replaced loose belt. Tested unit and unit is functioning properly. No noise at this time. Job complete

Arrived on site to test unit for center burner burning yellow. Test unit and flame is nice and blue at this time. Couldnt find anything wrong with the unit at this time. Job complete.

Arrived on site to test unit for door not closing. Test unit and couldnt duplicate problem door is closing correctly at this time.

Arrived on site to test unit for unit not draining. Test unit and found unit draining correctly but unit filling up with water from OR system. Advised customer to get RO fix job complete.

Arrived on site for PRIOR 90 SAME ISSUE REWORK - oven racks will not slide easily and the trim on the on the door . Arrived onsite and called techline. Explained to techline finding. Sent a couple photos per instructions. Uploaded pictures to SD. Inspected unit for damage that may have caused issue and there is no evidence of damage. Tech could not recommend to me any repairs and has asked for customer to contact customer service. Tech gave SR#7735792016. Job complete
