DISHWASHER WHIRLPOOL MDB4949SDH3 "MDB4949SDH3 Arrived to inspect draining issue. F6E4 was stored in memory and I noted water standing in the bottom of the unit. I found and removed part of the knockout plug that had not been fully removed during instal. I also found and removed a piece of debris from the drain pump. The unit had all functions present within service test mode and completed and drained as designed. I discussed detergent use with the customer and they had been using tablets and/or a full detergent dispenser cup of liquid automatic dishwasher detergent. I advised switching to the liquid automatic dishwasher detergent exclusively and to use no more than one tablespoon, as the customer pre-rinses. I advised on the use of rinse agent and to purge cold water from the hot supply, prior to use. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service."

Performed diagnostics mode and checked ice maker fault codes, E-0 for no failures. Cycled ice maker, completed cycle and dropped ice. Measured temperature in ice container at 11°. Measured temperature in RC at 37°. Inspected ice box adapter and RC evaporator. No ice buildup. Checked all thermistor in diagnostics mode. Ran ice maker fill cycle. Called tech support and spoke with Dave. Went over previous test and checked ice level sensor. Dave stated will need to be on site when failure occurs. (SR#7723870848). REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL WRS555SIHZ00 "arrived on site to inspect refrigerator not dispensing ice. Upon further inspection, I tested the ice dispenser and the motor is operating. I found that the ice bin was empty. I removed the ice maker cover and tested ohms to the ice maker. It showed to be good. I found a small amount of ice built up in the water tube. Using my steamer, I got the ice out. I checked the water line at the bottom left hinge area. I disconnected the water line to the ice maker and blew through it and it was clear. I tested ohms to the ice bin switch and the ice maker switch and both were good. I tested temps in the rc and fc sections and temps were 11 degrees in the fc section and 40 in the rc section. I tested ohms to the water valve and it showed to be open. I removed and replaced the valve and advised the customer of my repairs. I advised the customer to leave the fc door closed to allow the fc section to cool and the ice maker will begin to produce ice. No water lea

Upon further inspection, the customer turned the unit on and after approximately 8 seconds, the unit turned off and showed error code F1E5. I turned the power off to the unit at the breaker box and removed the unit from the wall. I removed the top cover from the unit to expose the appliance manager and other components. Per the service manual, I verified connections at the appliance manager and the inverter and all were good. Per service manual, I removed and replaced the inverter board and tested. The unit continued to show error code F1E5. Per service manual I removed and replaced the magnetron but I; the process of removing the mag, I found that it was badly burnt. I checked the wave guide for any burn marks and did not see any. Once I had the new mag installed, i tested the unit and immediately, the mag began to arc. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that he checked voltage at the outlet and junction box and the breaker is on. I tested the outlet and got 120 volts. I plugged the unit in and tested voltage at the junction box and got 120 volts. I closed the door to the unit ad none of the lights on the console came on. I removed the outer door panel to expose the control. I unplugged the main power connection and tested voltage at the connection and did not get 120 volts. I adjusted the ground wire connection and still no power at the control. I removed the wire nuts from the wires at the junction box and found some corrosion on the white wires.
