REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL WRS555SIHZ00 "arrived on site to inspect noisy refrigerator. Upon further inspection, I found that the unit is very noisy and the noise appears to be coming from the Evap fan motor. I opened the fc section door and held the door switch in and when the Evap motor came on, the unit became noisy. When I let go of the switch, the noise stopped. I removed all the contents from the fc section and removed the Evap cover to find that the Evap tubing was rubbing or vibrating against the cover as was a portion of the evaporator. Using the sealer that was prescreened for today, I placed a piece on the edge of the fan motor bracket and the remaining sealer in the middle of the Evap cover so it would fit in between the evaporator and the cover. I put the cover back on and pressed the switch to engage the fan motor and the noise was greatly reduced to the customers liking. I put the contents back inside the fc section. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

When I got to the middle burner it did not come on. I found that the burner cap was not the correct cap. The cap that was on the burner was the “Melt” burner cap that goes to the smallest burner (back right). I looked in the drawer to the right of the unit and found the correct cap for the middle burner. I placed it on the burner head and tested and it operated as designed. I left a brochure behind for the builder/owner and left a note with the burner cap advising that it only goes to the back right burner (smallest burner). No gas leaks detected during service, job completed."
