arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not drying dishes. Upon further inspection, I found moisture on the inner door and inside the tub. The customer advised that they switched detergents to a liquid gel as apposed to pods. I advised the customer to run their hot water tap unit the water was extremely hot and then turn the unit on to allow the entering water to be hot and not have to warm up. I tested the unit in diagnostics and the unit operated as designed. After the unit filled, I felt the water and it was very hot. During testing, I opened the unit door and found soap suds in the water. I advised the customer of my findings and advised to cut back on detergent use even more; approximately two teaspoons is the most needed. I contacted Techline and spoke to Ron who advised the ruin the tap water until the water was hot then turn the unit on. I calibrated the unit after centering the basket within the chassis and tested. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service.

arrived on site to inspect dryer noises. Upon arrival, the customer advised that the dryer makes a "chirping" noise and the dryer was already turned on. While the dryer was running, I could hear a faint chirping noise. I continued to listen to see if I could tell where it was coming from. I opened the lid and ran the unit and the unit did not squeak. I verified that the noise is not coming from the dryer kit. I removed the lint trap and listened and could hear the chirping noise. I removed the backing from the unit and removed the lint trap chute and turned the unit I and the noise did not duplicate. I put the unit back together and a back into place and the chirping noise started again. The noise is not a motor type noise and I believe it is a metal on metal type squeaking/chirping noise. I contacted Techline and spoke to Chris and advised him of my finding and he did not have a solution for the issue. File# 7722337793. Arrived on site and found wash LED is solid and nothing is happening. Set washer into diagnostic cycle and found Saved error code for No fill/long fill also found half an inch of water in washer pan, took pictures. Spoke with tech line SR7722327033. Filled the washer while it was tilted back until water level covered gear case and drain pump connections on the bottom of the tub and there’s no leaking. Ran an automatic test cycle and no water was added to the pan. Removed control panel and activated both valves and neither are leaking or cracked. Could not duplicate where water came from, requested that customer continue to observe it. Tech line recommended running a calibration cycle because control was just replaced. Automatic test cycle completed again and requested that customer monitor machine for continued correct operation. No water leaks from connections at time of service, job complete.

arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker not working. Upon further inspection, I found that the water tube was dispensing into the ice maker, but the ice maker was not working. I used my jump wire from ports T to H and the ice maker motor did not engage. I jumped ports L to V and the water entered the ice maker. I removed and replaced the ice maker, due to the unit not operating, and tested the ice maker. The unit began to operate as designed. No water leaks observed during service. Job completed.

I pressed the cancel button to engage the drain pump and it did not come on. I vacuumed the standing water out and placed the unit in diagnostics and tested. The unit operated as designed; however, the drain pump still did not come on. I vacuumed the water out and removed and replaced the drain pump and tested again. arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker not working. Upon further inspection, I found that the dispenser is operating as designed, but when attempting to dispense ice, the unit made a loud grinding noise. I found that the actuating arm on the ice maker was broken and caused the ice maker to continuously operate causing the water to overflow into the ice bin and binding up the ice bin motor. I removed the ice bin and attempted to remove the ice maker and found that it was frozen to the cabinet. There is a block of ice at the water tube keeping water from flowing into the ice maker. I am ordering an ice maker, ice bin, and air baffle and scheduled return service for 07/02/18. No water leaks observed during service.

When he returned and began the remodel on his home, he went to install the unit and found that the left side panel had a large dent in it and a the cooktop was badly damaged on the right side. The customer notified Home Depot and he is keeping the unit and would like to replace the damaged items.
