WASHER WHIRLPOOL WTW8040DW4 "I checked stored error codes and found an F9E2, F3E1, & F0E5. I erased the error codes and ran test 51. All test passed. I ran it a 2nd time just to make sure test 5 passed and the unit did not drain. I could hear the drain motor starting and stopping. I found the connector at the drain barely hanging on. I slid the connector on all the way and tested the unit again. All test passed. I explained to the customer to cut back on detergent because I suspect this is the issue causing the F3E1 and I explained the unbalance load error. There were no water leaks present at the time of service. Call complete."

I tested both upper and lower chambers and they both heated. Per the service manual the issue likely is due to the cancel circuit failing and the keypad should be replaced. I advised the customer if the issue persists after the keypad has been replaced, a control rebuild would be needed 1 WP8300440 (panl-cntrl)"

I tested the burner and found that it will not ignite when the gas is turned on. I found that the Ignitor was not arching properly. I attempted to adjust the burner cap and got the same results. I removed and replaced the burner head/ignitor assembly and tested the burner again. The burner ignited as designed. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed."

WASHER MAYTAG MVWX655DW1 "arrived on site to inspect washer shutting off. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested and it showed error code F7E5 (shifter fault). I cleared the code and continued with testing. The unit operated as designed with no error codes. I placed the unit in manual test mode and tested the agitation and spin modes to verify the actuator/shifter is operating properly and it operated as designed. The customer advised that when the unit was delivered, the delivery guys dropped the unit approximately 1-2 feet but after they installed it, they tested it and said it worked fine. The customer advised that they put very small loads of rags or towels in the unit and it will turn on then shut off. I advised that the unit senses the amount of temps in the tub and that they might have to add a few more items for the sensor to sense the amount of items before it will complete a cycle. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

OVEN WHIRLPOOL RBS305PDB12 Arrived onsite for the oven not heating up to the preset temp. Ms stated it was taking longer than normal for food to cook. I tested the oven and found both elements working in preheat and the preheat temp reached 392 degrees with the set point at 350. I found the oven cycling between 337-397 degrees leaving a 367.5 degree average which means product should have been well done when the timer went off instead of under cooked. Ms stated she was using the oven at 425 degrees cooking salmon and it took almost twice the amount of time for it to get done. I set the set point to 425 and tested the temp cycle. The oven cycled between 418-472 degrees leaving it with a 445 degree average temp. I explained to ms that the oven was running hot. Ms stated that she was used to that because it always has done this but it had undercooked the last two things she tried in the oven. Ms stated to leave the offset alone at this time. Call complete.

COOKTOP JENN-AIR JGCP536WP01 JGCP536WP01 Arrived to instal part. I found the actual issue was with the unit sparking while lit. The part ordered only provides voltage to the igniter and does not affect sparking after ignition has occurred. I found the screws for the orifice holder were not fully seated against the burner pan. I tightened the screws and tested and the issue was fully resolved and tested through multiple attempts. The unit has had service for the same issue within one year and I am applying our warranty. No gas leaks detected during service.

I ran the cycle she had run and found no over sud conditions that would cause the leak and no water leaking from water supply, drain pump or sump. I ran diagnostics and found no faults in memory but at the end of the cycle there were a lot of suds from the rinse aid. I checked the rinse aid setting and found it to be at the lowest setting. Upon further inspection, I found that the customer was using a broom to wedge in between the wall and the unit door to keep it closed while using. Removed the broom and the door popped open. I inspected the hinges and found the right hinge slightly bent. Attempted to remove and replace the catch and tested the door, but it continued to pop open. I ran a cycle and found that the unit took 26 minutes to make the first slab. I found the slab to be very uneven. WASHER WHIRLPOOL MVWX655DW1 "arrived on site to inspect washer not dispensing water. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested with no error codes showing. The unit operated as designed in diagnostics. I tested the unit in manual test mode and tested the inlet valve and found that one of the cold water valves was not working. I tested agitate and high speed spin and the unit tested good. I removed the control panel to inspect the inlet valve and found one of the cold valve solenoids was cracked. Using my multimeter, I tested ohms to the valve and found it open.. The customer agreed to the repair and paid in full. I removed and replaced the inlet valve and tested the unit and it operated as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."
