OVEN WHIRLPOOL WOS51EC0AS04 "arrived on site to inspect oven fan making loud noise. Upon further inspection, I turned the unit on Bake at 350 degrees and waited for the unit to heat up. As the unit heated, the fan began to make a loud humming noise. Once the unit reached 350 preheat, the customer advised that the noise would sometimes get louder. I turned the unit off and turned the power off at the breaker. I removed the unit door and using my oven dolly, I removed the unit from the wall to inspect the back panel. The vent at the bottom of the door was good as was the back panel. I removed and replaced the blower and put the unit back in the wall. I turned the power back on ad reinstalled the door. I started the unit on Bake at 350 degrees preheat and once the unit heated the fan was quiet. The customer was satisfied with the repair. Job completed."

Upon further inspection, the customer advised that I when he used it last, he found water leaking from under the unit. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested with no error codes showing. During testing, I opened the door and found a large amount of suds in the bottom of the tub. I questioned the customer as to what type/brand of dishwasher detergent they used and he advised that he used dishwashing soap (soap used at the sink). I advised the customer that this type of soap can not be used in a dishwasher due to it causing too much sudding and can damage a dishwasher. The unit operated as designed. I recommended some types of detergent and rinse aid to use in the unit and tips for use and care. I also advised the customer to run the unit without dishes in it to get rid of the suds inside. The customer presented a recording showing the unit loosing power, starting back up and then loosing power within 5-10 seconds, repeatedly. I inspected the unit and found multipleissues that required addressing. The cabinet was very out of square and required correction. The drain tube assembly was gapped between 1/8 to 1/4” and I corrected and sealed. Excessive sealant had been applied around the fc and I corrected and properly placed sealant and corrected lower right corner overlap. Both rc door closers were not engaged and there was no closing force. The ice maker housing was not attached correctly and would move at the front left, in a vertical plane, approximately 1/4 inch. The ice bin door gasket was smashed due to incorrect door height from the closers not engaged and unable to be corrected. Office to order ice bin door assembly. I found the right rear foot of the chassis was not touching the floor of the oven cutout within the cabinet and causing a twist of the chassis. The twisting motion causes the upper right corner of the filler panel for the microwave door opening to be slightly out past the opening of the door, causing the door switch/door position misreads. The floor of the cabinet opening looks to be higher in the area of the right front and will require correction to repair the issue. I advised the customer of my findings and they will contact the builder. The lower vent of the oven door required adjustment to allow full articulation if the door."

Upon further inspection, the customer had the unit unplugged, so when he plugged it back in, immediately, all of the Ignitors began to arc. I unplugged the unit and pulled the unit from the countertop to remove the cooktop. While removing the screws, there was two screws that would not come out none at the right front burner and one at the back left burner. I used liquid wrench to help break them free, but it did not work. The valve that controls the left front burner was stuck and was causing the Ignitors to constantly arc. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed."

Upon further inspection, using an empty cup, the customer dispensed water and I could hear the water line making a loud chatter noise. I removed the waterbox cover to expose the water tube, valve and water lines. Using the same cup, I dispensed water and could hear the valve making the chatter noise, but could also hear the noise coming from the connection under the top left hinge cover. I disconnected the water line connection at the left hinge and then reconnected it and tested the water dispenser again and could still hear the chatter noise. I removed and replaced the dual water valve in the rc section and tested again and could still hear the chattering noise. The temperature was 28 degrees in the fc section. I did the same for the rc section and my temp reading was 55 degrees. I pulled the unit from its space and removed the back cover and checked amps to the compressor. My Amp reading was .33 amps. I put the cover back on and put the unit back in its place. I removed the Evap cover and found that the Evap fan was not working as it was blocked with ice. I removed the ice with my steamer and the fan came on, but the evaporator did not have a good frost pattern. I advised the customer of my findings ad advised that the unit would need a compressor due to it being weak, which would require a sealed system. WASHER GE GTW330ASK4WW "arrived on site to inspect washer asking loud rubbing noise. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics to test and checked for error codes and there were none. I continued with diagnostics going through all tests....valves, drain pump, level sensor, spin and agitate. During spin mode, I found that the agitator/washplate was loose causing the washplate/agitator to move around and hit the sides of the basket. I tightened the washplate/agitator bolt and tested in spin mode again ad it was fixed.. The unit operated as designed. The customer provided a video of the unit making a loud “thud” noise. When I put the unit in spin mode, the inlet valve came on and when it shut off it made the loud “thud” noise. The unit made the same noise in agitate mode, as well. Upon further inspection, I found that the unit is having frost buildup in the fc section at the bottom of the door. I inspected the door gasket and found that it is sealing good, but there is gapping between the fc section cabinet and chassis. Also found that the drawer slides were sticking. Using my steamer, I removed the ice/frost buildup. I used manufacturer approved silicone to seal the gaps. Ad using manufacturers approved grease, I put some of the grease on the slides to allow them to glide better and allow the door to close better. Also, I put some grease on the top of the mullion to allow the left rc door to close better. No water leaks observed during service.

Upon further inspection, the customer advised that an inspector came and tested the oven temps using a mercury thermometer and advised that the unit was 30 degrees to low and calibrated the unit +30 degrees. I found that the unit has a rapid preheat for single rack and standard multi rack preheat. I explained the difference in the two types of preheat to the customer. Before testing, I recalibrated the unit back to 0 degrees. Using my multimeter, I placed my thermal lead in the middle of the center rack and tested on Bake at 350 standard multi rack preheat.
