Arrived on site to diagnose the range for a loose control panel. Removed the cooktop to gain access to the mounting screws securing the control panel. Inspected the mounting points and found several screws had loosened over time, allowing the panel to move. Tightened and secured all mounting screws to the proper position, then reassembled the cooktop. Tested the control panel to verify it was firmly secured with no excessive movement. I gained access to the ice maker and found the icemaker had been turned off. I turned on the icemaker and found the unit begin to harvest and fill within 2 minutes of turning the icemaker on. The customer was unaware that they could turn the icemker on or off. Went over use and care and the unit is working and operating as designed. Call complete. Arrived on site for a washer MVW6200KW3 leaking. Customer stated that she was washing a rug and that it was banging around alot when this happened. I found no water stains around the drain hoses or water vales. I filled multiple times and drained with no leaks. Also let it fill and drain on quick wash. I believe the heavy unbalanced load caused this issue by water hitting the balance ring. No other issues or leaks detected.

Arived on site to install previously diagnosed parts. Installed both lower insulation pads and toe panel. Ran dishwasher and all noises ere normal and within specs.

Arrived on site to follow up on dishwasher KDTE204KPS1 not running. Customer clarified that the unit would run for 5ish minutes, then stop and start beeping. I checked error codes and found F9E1,F8E1, F7E2, F9E1, F8E4. Cleared codes. I also found water remaining in the unit, which customer said had been there since last visit. I tried to drain and found no water movement. Customer also had a new disposal installed a month ago. I checked the disposal and found the knockout intact. I removed the knockout and drained the unit. Ran unit and confirmed proper operation. Let it run for a bit and customer confirmed it was past the point it would error. No water leaks observed. Arrived on site to inspect washer WTW7500GC2 going out of balance for any load size. Upon further inspection, I placed the machine into diagnostics and observed error code F0E5 out of balance. I checked the condition of the suspension and found that it was worn resulting in the off balance. I replaced the suspension tested the washer and it now operating as designed. Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator KRSC536RPS00 freezing items in the RC and orange liquid coming from under the fridge. Upon further inspection I checked temperatures and measured 0 degrees FC and 37 degrees RC. I removed the bottom panel and found no evidence of the orange liquid under the refrigerator. I checked the drain pan and drain line and found no signs of a blockage or rust. The source of that liquid that the customer experienced could not be determined. I examined the gaskets and door and found that problem area at the bottom left of the the RC door persisted and the gap is being caused by what seems to be a warp in the center mullion. I called techline to document. Techline stated that the unit has been escalated to review and the customer will be contacted directly within 3-5 business days. Case number 24496877

Arrived on site for washer not filling at the beginning of cycle. They provided key. Entered test mode and found both hot and cold valves do turn on. Customer does not have hot water but does have 2 serapte cold hoses so water test good. Diagnostics finished with no issues. Arrived on site for a unit not heating properly . Upon arrival, found crack on the bake element. Proceeded to replace WP308180 bake element. Tested unit and now unit is functioning as designed.

Arrived on-site to test unit for doors not sealing properly. Inspected the door gaskets and heated them with a heat gun to reshape and mold them for better contact and sealing against the cabinet. Also FC liner has excessive gaps and I sealed the with adhesive W10841140, Found some condensation developing on the door gaskets and along the inner mullion. The home is completed but is currently vacant and on the market for sale. Because the refrigerator is not being opened or used regularly, the compressor may remain off for extended periods of time. During these extended off periods, the mullion area can become cold and condensation may develop on the surrounding gaskets, especially with the warmer temperature and higher humidity inside the vacant home.This condition will most likely improve once the home is occupied, the indoor temperature is maintained at a normal level, and the refrigerator begins going through regular usage and compressor cycles. At this time, the unit is running as designed. Job complete.

Arrived on site to inspect range WFG320M0MS0 console area and overall chassis getting too hot. Upon further inspection, I tested the oven at 350 degrees and monitored preheat and cycling temperature. I found that the average was 380 degrees. The customer informed me that it was calibrated and may have been incorrectly calibrated. I corrected the calibration by setting the offset back to 0. I found that the oven was operating designed and I informed the customer that the console area is attached to the oven vent and it does not have a temperature limit and is conside part of the cooking surface. I advised the customer that overall the oven outside will become very hot to the touch and this is normal. I called techline to document and was provided case number 24502636 no gas leaks observed during service.

Arrived onsite for previously diagnosed part. Replaced the pump and motor and tested unit. Unit operated as designed with no leaks. The way this had to be pulled out was with all feet screwed up. Due to the install unit had to be pushed in with feet down and caused a level issue. Unit is still good but customer will need to contact installer who did it to get the floor evened out for proper seating. Customer stated he might just shim the front up.

Arrived on site to diagnose the dryer for a loud rattling noise during operation. Started the unit and confirmed the customers complaint. The rattling noise was present while the drum was turning. Removed the front panel and front bulkhead to access the blower housing and blower wheel assembly. Performed a visual inspection and found the blower wheel housing was damaged, allowing excessive movement and causing the blower wheel to rattle against the housing during operation. Inspected the remaining drum support components and determined the dryer would also require a repair kit, including the drum rollers, idler pulley, and belt, due to normal wear and to prevent future noise issues while the unit is disassembled. The required parts are a new blower wheel, blower housing, and dryer repair kit. Reassembled the unit for safe operation until parts arrive. Arrived on site for oven with no power. Upon arrival found breaker tripped. Turned on breaker and tested bake in oven. Bake trips breaker but broil and microwave do not. Tested bake element and it is within spec. Tested thermostat and found it defective. Also found control defective. Replaced both WP4449751 thermostat and W11325787 control. Tested bake and it is now working normally at this time.

Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. Upon arrival, as I began to disassemble the unit to perform a sealed system repair, I found frost built up on the FC evap cover, which was not there at previous visit. I gained access to the evaporator and found it engulfed in frost/ice. I contacted in-house tech support GC and advised of my findings. I placed the unit in diagnostics and checked for error codes and found F4E1-defrost heater failure and FAEB-RC damper control failure. I was able to clear both codes and then tested the heater in test 89 to find no heat coming from the heater. I tested voltage and found 122V and when I ohmed the heater, I found it open. I tested the defrost thermistor and found it at 7.4 kohms which is equivalent to approximately 38 degrees and it was engulfed in ice. I tested the damper control and found it operating as designed. I contacted techline and spoke with Brandon and advised of the history with this unit, the complaint for today and my findings. Brandon advised that the defrost element thermal fuses were an issue in the past and had me pierce the heater harness behind the fuses to check the actual heater resistance. I pierced the harness and my meter detected that the element itself is good. Brandon recommended replacing the heater and thermistor and provided Case #24495795. I advised my customer of the recommendations and removed and replaced the defrost heater

Arrived on site for unit thumping and squealing. Upon arrival ran test cycle and found unit squeaking and wobbling badly and found transmission and snubber has failed. In addition found machine producing loud squeaking abruptly when halting and found brake rotor has failed. Arrived on site for a washer MTW5605RW0. I turned the valve on at the wall and cold water started filling. I replaced the valve w11513255 and tested for leaks. Due to very high water pressure i only turned the house valve on about half way. Unit is operating as designed now with no leaks detected.

Arrived on-site to diagnose concerns of dishes not drying properly and dishwasher door dropping. Inspected the unit and found the installation brackets were missing mounting screws, which allowed the dishwasher to tip forward. Also identified that the right-side door hinge bushing was excessively loose, causing the door to fall more than intended.Ran the unit through a diagnostic cycle and verified the heating element is functioning and heating properly. Advised the customer that, due to the plastic tub design, the heating element does not generate sufficient heat to fully dry all dishes. Recommended slightly opening the door at the end of the cycle to allow moisture to escape and improve drying performance. Also noted the customer is not using rinse aid and explained that it should be used with every wash to help achieve optimal drying results.Replaced the right-side door hinge bushing (part #WP8268961) and secured the installation brackets with the proper mounting screws. Tested the unit and confirmed it is operating as designed with no leaks present. Job complete.

Arrived on site to diagnose the microwave for a loud popping noise occurring at the beginning of the cook cycle. Inspected the unit and found excessive heat entering through the exterior vent. Due to the high outdoor temperatures and the customer keeping the home at approximately 71F, moisture/condensation was forming inside the venting system and around the microwave components. Removed the microwave to inspect the venting assembly and found the microwave damper was missing its flaps, allowing outside air and moisture to enter the unit. Replaced the damper assembly, magnetron, high-voltage capacitor, and high-voltage diode. Reinstalled the microwave and contacted Whirlpool Tech Line to perform additional diagnostic testing and verify the repair. After discussing the findings, Tech Line advised that the popping noise could be related to moisture entering the unit through the exterior venting system. Advised the customer to have the exterior vent inspected and repaired to ensure the damper seals properly and prevents outside air and moisture from entering the microwave. Tested the unit multiple times after the repair, and the microwave heated properly and operated as designed at this time. Job complete. File#24499670

Arrived onsite for compactor not sliding in. Upon arrival I found the drawer out and the rails, slightly lowered not allowing closure. Found compact switch was on. Turned it off and held down both safety switches and ram raised. Advised customer that compact is meant to keep compressed and if you open the door the drawer will get stuck. Customer did force the drawer out but no damage is done. Advised customer to keep compact switch off and not to open the door until it is finished. Customer understands. Call complete. No parts.

Arrived on site for washer WTW4957PW0 that is leaking / tripping breaker. Breaker trip seems to come at random sometimes, after multiple cycles have been run. Likely nuisance tripping as unit is on a 20A GFCI breaker. I traced the leak to a weeping valve. I replaced the valve as unit is under warranty still. I then ran the unit in high speed spin for 5-10 mins and a drain and spin and monitored amp draw. Unit never exceeded 7.8 which shows that unit is not tripping breaker due to amp draw. This is likely indicative of a bad breaker or nuisance. Advised to run on an extension cord to another room and see if it trips anymore. Called findings into safety and told them I replaced valve as well. Findings are documented. Repair completed.

Arrived on site for an electric dryer model WED4815EW1 that is making abnormal sounds. Inspected unit and work area. The customer showed me the sounds it was making and advised it had been sitting in storage for 6 months prior to them moving in. The sound appeared to be coming from the blower wheel. I found the outlet exhaust had been dented, causing the blower wheel to rub against the housing. I disassembled the machine and formed the frame back into place. I mounted the motor, blower wheel, and blower wheel housing. I re-assembled the machine. I tested the unit and found the unit begin to work and operate as designed with no abnormal sounds present. Call complete. No parts were installed.

Arrived on site to test unit WTW4816FW3 for pump running. Upon arrival customer stated drain pump constantly runs unless power is removed. Applied power; drain pump immediately engaged, indicating a pressure system fault. Entered diagnostics and found F3E1 (pressure system fault) error code stored. Referenced S code S153EB and followed TSP W11766193, confirming both model and serial number fall within the applicable rework range. Cleared error code and reset control; upon cycling power, drain pump continued to immediately engage. Inspected pressure hose and found no kinks, punctures, or restrictions, with valve confirmed not leaking, isolating fault to a failed pressure switch on the control. Replaced control (W11603810), serial (W11130856K602825019D1); upon reapplying power, drain pump no longer immediately engaged. Ran calibration cycle successfully. Arrived on-site to install previously diagnosed parts. Removed oven and replaced interlocks. Powered up oven and same issue is occurring. Called wpl techline: told techline issue with microwave and that interlocks and panel has been replaced. Techline had me test p8 connector orange wire to ground. Should have 0vac with door closed and 120vac without open to ground. Had 0vac with door closed and opened. Checked fuse and hand no voltage through fuse and fuse was open. Techline said that a high voltage short or bad interlock switch can cause the fuse to blow. Recommend replacing the fuse and high voltage components and retest. Arrived on site to test unit ET8MHKXMB04 for water accumulation in the RC. Upon arrival customer stated water will accumulate at the bottom of the RC. Inspected FC and found drain pan frozen over. Removed ice and found drain port blocked. Used steam gun to remove restriction; verified unit properly draining. Unit is now running as designed, no leaks detected, no parts installed, job complete.

Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher WDT970SAHZ0 leaking and not heating. Upon further inspection I placed the unit into test mode and tested the components and found the heater to be operating as designed. I used a clear door to check the condition of the spray arms and found that the lower spray arm had failed and was spraying water out of the sides and downward which was causing the water to overflow. I am ordering the lower spray arm. The dishwasher will continue to leaks if the customer uses it before the repair is done. WPW10491331. Arrived on site to replace previously ordered part. Upon arrival proceeded to replace W11400283 console. Reconfigured unit. Tested unit and now unit is functioning as designed.

Upon arrival found lower oven blower motor spinning high and low settings just fine. Upper oven will not spin on low but will spin normally on high. I hear the motor energize on low spin. NOTE: both blowers run when either lower or upper ovens run independently during consumer cycle. Proceeded to replace W11598119 upper blower. Tested unit and now unit is functioning as designed.

Arrived on site for refrigerator WRS321SDHZ05 with icemaker issues. Customer clarified that the icemaker wouldnt fully harvest / return to home position and fill on top of ice in the mold. Arrived onsite for unit leaking. Upon arrival I tested unit and found no signs of water trailing or leak during test. I did find however the gearcase bearings to be blown which can cause unit to splash water out. Asked customer if it only happens during a load of clothes and if it bangs and she said sometimes. Due to customers state,entered and condition of gearcase a gearcase, cam, and belt are required for repair. No leaks occurred onsite. After removing the evaporator cover I noticed the icebuild on the top left side showing a failed compressor. I uploaded photos. A sealed system will be needed for repair. Arrived on site for unit making loud . Upon arrival inspected fill tube and found a piece of extension tubing, sitting incorrectly on the tube. Removed extension and found fill tube setup was correct per manufacturer . Confirmed water spilled and froze near the evaporator fan motor, causing fan blade to hit ice . Ran multiple test cycles on the icemaker fill and found no leaks. Upon inspecting other parts of the machine found filter housing door, not securing shut . Ordering W11162042 housing. No parts replaced. No water leaks detected at this time. Customer agreed to reschedule Aug 10th; ordrng 1 W11162042 (Housing)

Arrived on site for a dryer WED4850HW0 not tumbling. Found the belt was broken so I used a repair kit 4392065 for the repair. Unit has good airflow and is heating. No other issues detected.

Arrived on site to diagnose the range for the bottom storage drawer not sitting correctly. Inspected the drawer assembly and found the drawer guide stoppers were misaligned, preventing the drawer from seating properly in the tracks. Realigned and secured both stoppers in the correct position, then reinstalled the drawer. Tested the drawer by opening and closing it several times and verified that it now slides smoothly and sits flush with the front of the range. Unit is operating as designed. Job complete.

Arrived on site for a refrigerator model WRS315SDHM05 that is not making ice. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the icemaker just died. He said the freezer seems to be at good temperature though. I checked the freezer and found everything frozen solid, indicating good temperature. I found the icemker in the middle of a harvest but stuck and not moving forward. I checked voltage goingnto the icemaker and found 122.5 V, indicatingnthe icemker had failed. I replaced the icemaker WPW10300022 and tested the unit. The icemkaer harvested and filled as designed with no leaks present during service. Call complete.

Arrived on site to diagnose the dryer for not drying and not operating. Verified the unit was properly plugged into the outlet and receiving power. Started the dryer through a normal timed dry cycle. The unit powered on immediately, the drum began tumbling normally, and the blower was moving air as designed. Verified the heating element/ignition system energized properly and confirmed the dryer was producing adequate heat throughout the cycle. Allowed the unit to run for several minutes to ensure there were no intermittent issues, unusual noises, or error codes. Checked overall operation and found all functions working correctly at the time of service. Unable to duplicate the customers complaint. Unit is operating as designed. Job complete.

Arrived on site to complete sealed system repair on refrigerator WRS325SDHW08. On arrival I noticed the evap cover had frost on the outward side i did not see present on last visit. Took evap cover off and found ice built in the airflow channels, but refrigerant is moving and does not show evidence of a leak. Based on how the ice looks, there has to be an air infiltrating leak somewhere. Added some silicon around the drain tube and fill tube for icemaker, and in a couple spots on the liner. Doors are shutting and sealing. Talked with GC after sending pictures of evap and agreed SS is not needed. I advised the customer I sealed the unit and to keep the doors open and leave ut unplugged for 2 days to let the ice all melt down. Call completed.

Arrived onsite for whistle noise. Found the noise to be occurring during fill phase. Removed valve and confirmed valve is clogged causing the noise to occur. Replaced W11175771 valve Inlet and tested. Unit now sounds as designed and no leaks occurred during time of service. Call complete.
