arrived on site to inspect water dispenser leaking. Upon further inspection, I found that the filter housing was cracked and the filter was an aftermarket filter which was not seating correctly. I removed and replaced the filter housing and quoted the customer $61.49 for this filter and with tax the total was $66.56 and the customer agreed to purchase the filter. Replaced the filter with whirlpool approved filter and tested unit and unit tested good. No water leaks observed during service.

arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. I removed and replaced the main control and UI console and tested the unit. Unit operated as designed. There were an abundance of detergent suds during diagnostics and there was no detergent added. I recommended to the customer that they not use detergent pods and switch to a liquid or liquid gel and to use no more than two teaspoons per wash to prevent too much suds. I also leveled the unit due to the left side of the door rubbing badly. No water leaks observed during service. Job completed.

arrived on site to inspect dryer not powering on. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that she just moved in and had to use a different plug as the wall outlet was a different four prong outlet. I verified voltage at the outlet then checked voltage at the terminal block. The terminal block had bad connections and burn marks on the connections. I removed and replaced the terminal block and checked voltage again and found 240 at the red and black wires, .819 volts at the black and white wires and 240 volts at the red and white wires when there should be 120 at black/white and red/white. I immediately unplugged the unit and advised the customer that they would need to have an electrician service the wall outlet and explained my findings. Also, I advised the customer to have the electrician change the wall outlet to a dryer outlet and not an oven outlet and once she plugged the unit in and it still did not work to call the office and schedule a return service. Model ED5FHEXVS01, Arrived on call for filter leaking water and ice maker is not making ice, found that the water filter housing and water valve is bad, replaced water filter housing and valve and tested and icemaker cycled on its own and then filled with water and dispenser is know dispensing water and did find leak mfrom filter housing, installed valve and filter housing and all checks good no water leaks after repair. Call complete.
