WASHER MAYTAG MVWC500VW1 "arrived on site to inspect washer not agitating. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in agitation mode and the tube/agitator did nothing. I placed it in spin mode and the basket barely moved. I inspected the motor and gearcase components and in spin mode, the motor was turning and the clutch was spinning, but the basket would not spin. I removed the agitator and found the agitator bolt was loose. I tightened the bolt and tested again in agitation and spin and the unit operated as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed. Customer has no email address to send a receipt."

COOKTOP JENN-AIR JGD3430WS00 "arrived on site to inspect cooktop burners not igniting. Upon further inspection, I tested all of the burners and all of the Ignitor worked. The front left burner would not ignite. There was plenty gas flow and the Ignitor was operating, but the arc was not hitting directly on the burner head to ignite the gas. I attempted to clean around the Ignitor and burner head to give the arc a clean surface to hit, but it did not work. I advised the customer that when I go to remove the screws, they will more then likely break, at which time I would have to order the orifice holder and screws. I sprayed some penetrating oil on the screws and when I went to remove the first screw, the head of it sheared off. I advised the customer of the situation and explained that the orifice holder would have to be removed and when I go to remove the other screws, the same issue will happen due to years of corrosion on the screws. At that time, the customer said no to the repair.

I checked ohms to the valve since I could not hear the valve come on and found it to be open. I removed and replaced the valve and tested ad still no water. The customer put a new filter in within the last few months. I removed the filter and found evidence of a leak in the filter head. I removed and replaced the filter head and tested again and still no water. I disconnected the water line at the bottom left hinge of the door and found that the supply water line was frozen. I attempted to defrost the line, but due to time, I was unable to do so. I verified the ice maker was working and found frozen water that had splashed from the water tube onto the ice dispenser motor area. I found that the solenoid had gone bad due to this. REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL WRX988SIBE01 "arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker not producing ice. I tested temps in the fc section (4 degrees) and rc section (39 degrees). I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested mode 56 and there were no ice maker error codes. I tested modes 57, 58, & 59 and all passed. When I tested mode 15-ice level sensors, the unit showed 01-ice bin full or not present when the ic bin was present and empty. I found that the sensor switch for the ice maker had been turned off. I turned them switch on and mode 15 indicated that the ice bin was full when the bin was not in its place. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

After getting the unit apart I found the line in the unit was 5/16” to the spigot and the line that was sent in the parts breakdown is 1/4”. I believe this is why the unit has dripped since day one because the hole in the dispenser facade is a 1/4” allowing the tubing to come thru it and not touch it causing the water to drip.
