Arrived on site for a dryer that is making a squeaking sounds during operation. Inspected unit and work area. Was able to detect the squeaking sounds immediately upon turning the dryer on which sounded like rollers or the idler pulley. Disassembled the unit and verified that the rollers were causing the sound. Use the repair kit to replace both rollers and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Arrived on site to inspect side by side refrigerator. The customer is hearing a hammering sound from the valve as well as low flow from the dispenser. I removed the filter and found good flow and no hammering sound. I inspected the water quality at the supply line and found a lot of debris in the water. The customer does not have a water softener. The clogged filter is causing the valve to hammer. I instructed the customer to look into a water softener or a inline filter for the refrigerator supply line. He also informed me the ice is not dispensing. I tested and found ice under the ice container causing the motor gear to disconnect from the ice container. I removed the ice and tested. The unit now operates as designed. No leaks observed during service.

KRFF507HPS04 arrived on site to inspect a refrigerator making noise. Upon arrival the customer provided video evidence of his complaint. I rand the air baffle motor and evaporator fan test and was able to recreate the sound. I examined and made slight adjustments to the fan and air baffle and I rand the same test several more times and the fan and air baffle motor began to operate quietly. Pulled out the unit and tested a few more times before returning it back to its original position in order to make sure the sound did not return. No water leaks observed during service.

The customer showed me a video of the washer, making the same clock noise when the agitator moves counterclockwise. She advised the last repairs seem to work for a short period of time again did the same thing. I checked the rotor, slider, and agitator, and could not find any abnormalities with any three parts. I called Whirlpool Tech line and spoke to Chris SR# 7737550704. He advised that due to the parts being previously replaced that the stator and clutch would not be the problem and with no abnormalities with the agitator, he would send the unit to review for the engineers to look at. He advised that Whirlpool would be in contact with myself or the consumer depending on the next steps. Call complete."

"Add on site for dryer that it has long dry times. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised they use the energy saving setting and only said it to the energy saving portion indicating that they are not looking for more dry on the clothes. The customer advised that when they do use time dry that they typically dry at 20 minute intervals and they are having to dry their clothes on several cycles. Around the unit and found the unit tumbling and heating. Check the vent hose off the back and found the vent hose was installed properly. The customer advised they had recently replaced the vent hose because the previous vent hose was too long and was kinked. I ran temperature tests on the dryer and found the dryer exhaust fluctuating between 165?F and 107?F showing aThe unit was fluctuating properly. I did advise the customer that if they are using mixed loads, the best thing they can do is run a time dry cycle for at least 60 minutes to ensure that the clothes are done properly. The customer said that towels were specifically harder to dry with the cycles that she has been using. I did advise the customer that they may need to use a more dry setting on the energy, saving settings or use longer time dry cycles because while theyre old unit may have dry the clothes faster, this unit will need at least 60 minutes to dry towels. The unit is working as designed. Call complete."

Arrived onsite for dryer making a noise. On inspection found a low humming noise coming from the dryer. I installed a repair kit and got rid of one sound. During disassembly, I discovered the RH FC slide had broken and the retainer would not stay in place. Arrived onsite for a refrigerator to replace the previous diagnosed parts. I found the FC at 12 degrees on arrival but the settings were set to the warmest temp. I set the refrigerator and freezer on the recommended settings. I found the evaporator with a full nice frost pattern and took a photo. I found good refrigerant flow and the compressor at normal operating temp. I had good temps on both the suction and discharge lines. I monitored temp and watched it get to 0 degrees in the FC. The icemaker went thru a harvest and filled. At this time this unit is working as designed. Its possible someone had left a door cracked open that caused the original issue. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is making a knocking sound. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit made a knocking sound after their last cycle and then they heard the unit sounding like it was trying to turn on, but was not doing anything and would not allow them to start a new cycle. Plug the unit in and found the unit in a drain indicating an off-balance load. Ran the unit through diagnostics and found an F0 E5 (off-balance load) error code. Tested the suspension and found the suspension was good. Found the unit unlevel and leveled out the unit a little better. I did find that the unit was sitting on flooring that was flexing when stepped on. I ran the unit through an auto test and found the unit working in operating as designed. I called whirlpool Tech line and spoke to Ed SR# 7737645897. He revised that he would notate the file about the flexing floor, and that that was most likely causing issues with off-balance loads. Arrived onsite and replaced lower spray arm. All else checks good. Unit is now operating as designed.

Arrived one for a dryer that is making a loud noise when in use. Upon inspection I found that the bower wheel was making contact with the housing I adjusted it and tested the unit and found unit operating as designed

Arrived on site to test unit for door falling. Test unit and found broken hinges. Replaced hinges test unit and unit test good job complete.

Arrived on site to test unit for unit not working no power. Found control board disconnected. Secured connection test unit and unit test good job complete.

Arrived on site to inspect top load washer. I found the basket and tub ring damaged. I removed and replaced the basket and tub ring and tested. The unit now operates as designed. No leaks observed during service.

"Arrived on site to inspect motor or compressor running to long during normal operations. Tested temperature on freezer compartment lowest it got was 13 degrees, suspecting unit may have a leak or restriction. Also UI was not operating as intended glitching during use. 2 hours needed for follow up with sealed system tech. "Arrived on site to inspect ice machine not making ice. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested. I found the valve, recirculating pump, reservoir drain pump all working properly. When I tested the evaporator cooling, I could hear a hissing noise and found refrigerant gas inside the unit. I advised the customer that there is a refrigerant leak in the sealed system and would have to order the sealed system parts. I am ordering the compressor, evaporator, access valve, Non-UV drier, permagum and CNOTE-3 HOUR JOB and office to schedule return service. Arrived on site to inspect unit for making loud thumping or hammering noise coming from unit. Readjusted adjustable compressor bars that connect to front of machine. Job complete.

"Arrived on site to replace the tub assembly for washer. Removed and disassemble dthe tub assembly. Found serious wear to front and rear tubs also basket shaft has bent due to the bearing failure. During disassembly several components within the control panel cracked due to the age of the unit and brittleness of the plastic. Replaced rear tub assembly, reassembled machine and found that due to the bearing failure the tub gasket will not seal because of the wear on the front tub and basket failure. Will need to order parts and get autho for repairs., ordrng 8182232 / BASKET, WP8182650 / PULLEY and AUTHO / AUTHO (by CS)"

WMH31017HZ08 arrived on site to inspect a microwave with no power. I checked voltage to the unit and found 124VAC. Checked resistance on all other components and found the L-in to L-out connectors on the filter board were reading OL. Replaced the board and restored power to the unit and the unit is operating as designed.

WDP540HAMZ0 arrived onsite to inspect a dishwasher not draining. Upon inspection I found that there was no drain loop and when the unit would drain it would back up into the sink. I installed a drain loop and ran the garbage disposal in order to clear it and tested the unit and it drained with no problem. No water leaks observed during service.

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that the customer cant get level. I found the doors uneven and I adjusted the right hand door to correct this. The customers complaint is the unit rolls when the doors are opened. I explained to the customer that this refrigerator is not sold with leveling feet and only the rollers adjust to level it but it would still roll if it was in a vacuum and the doors were pulled on. I explained that the rollers would have to be chocked to keep it from moving. I took a pair of toothpicks and chocked the front rollers to show the customer that it could be done and the refrigerator didnt move when the doors were pulled on. This refrigerator is working as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site to inspect side by side refrigerator. The customer informed me the ice build up came back. I found the unit unplugged and defrosted upon my arrival. I found the compressor running as well as all fans. I forced a defrost and found good heat from the defrost heater. The UI glitched on me while testing. I found an out of value reading from the evaporator thermistor. I removed and replaced the main control, Ui control and defrost thermistor and tested. The unit now operates as designed. No leaks observed during service."

Arrived on site for otr not venting properly . Found unit need to be changed to vent externally . Unit is set up to recirculate. Found left mounting screw is missing . Ordering install hardware to ensure safe reinstall .Call to set return ; ordrng 1 W10821385 (Install hardware)

"Arrived on site for not spinning correctly and leaving clothes wet. Upon arrival ran diagnostics and got error code F7-E6 motor fault. Raised unit to inspect and test motor circuit components. Test motor, actuator, and capacitor and all are good. Ran a component test and all components passed.. Ran an automatic cycle and test passed. Ran a normal cycle. Unit filled and agitated correctly. Ran a drain and spin cycle and unit drain and spins correctly. Contacted techline and spoke with Brandon for assistance. Explained to tech all things tested and done. Cleared error code. Tech asked to run a normal cycle of laundry. Unit fill and began to agitate correctly. Tech then asked to drain and spin. Ran drain and spin and hearing clicking sound coming from motor area and notice motor not spinning correctly. Ran diagnostics again and got error code F7-E6 again. Need to replace motor. SR# 7737648801. Ordering motor and harness and returning with prescreened parts. Office to reschedule ; ordrng 1 W11665968 (Harness) and 1 W11497303 (Motor)"
