I disassembled the FC section and removed the evap cover and found no frost pattern on the evaporator and found a ball of ice in the upper left corner on the cap/suction tubes (photos). Also found a small amount of dye on the evaporator at the cap tube/suction tube area (photo). Also found both RC door gaskets badly torn. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not getting past the sensing portion of the cycle. Inspected unit and work area. Did confirm the customers complaint and found that whe the unit would start to spin, the lights on the control would flicker and then go out. Check voltage and polarity and found proper voltage and polarity to the unit. Took an amp draw off the unit when it was starting to go into spin and found it only pulling 7.1 A. Check the capacitor for proper resistance and found proper resistance. Checked voltage at the main control to the unit when the unit was agitating in spinning and found voltage drop coming into the control but the unit would stay on. Spoke to SW and was advised to go ahead and replace the control but that it sounded more like an electrical supply issue with the voltage dropping whenever the unit was attempting to agitate or spin. I explain to the customer that voltage should not drop when the unit is running. I replace the control and advise the customer if any other issues persist, to fix their electrical supply. Call complete."

"Arrived on site for a cooktop that is flashing an F47 (power supply issue coming from the ACU) error code on the right two burners. Inspected unit and work area.

"Arrived on site for a dryer that is taking multiple cycles to dry clothes. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advised that theyve noticed an airflow issue from within the unit because even after they pulled off the vent hose, there is very little airflow coming out of the dryer and the unit still heats and tumbles. Disassembled the unit and found a box cap, and a big lint ball stuck in the bottom of the blower wheel housing area. Removed all the obstructions and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete."

Arrived onsite and found unit with evidence of a leak. Determined after testing with back cover off that the only leak was from the connection from the hose to the valve hot water side. Cleaned and tightened water connections. Tested unit. Unit is now operating leak free at time of service.

"Arrived on site for a wall oven microwave combo that is resetting itself and showing a power outage every 30 minutes. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advised they can clear the code and be able to use the machine but if it does it in the middle of a cooking cycle, the unit will turn itself off. They did advise that the light does come on when they open the door. Ran the unit through diagnostics and found an F6 E0 (oven user interface lost connection) error code. Tested continuity on the wire harness between the control and the user interface and found proper continuity. Per the tech sheet, advise the customer of the issue would most likely be with their user interface but did explain that their control may be causing the problem. The customer is aware that if the control is needed, that would be an additional fee. Replaced the User Interface control panel and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker not making ice. Upon further inspection, the customer advised the unit Mae ice for a brief period of time since the previous repair. I tested temps in the FC=9 degrees and RC=39 degrees. When I tested the temps in the RC section, I found ice built up on the ice bin door gasket, ice built up at the back of the ice box and moisture running down the ice bin door. I removed the ice box and found ice on the top section of the adaptor and found no gasket on the back wall where the ice box meets the back wall (photos). I removed the deli drawer and found water in the bottom of the RC section and ice beginning to build up on the RC evaporator. Found the RC evap drip pan badly warped causing water from the evap,defrost to collect on the left side of the pan and eventually freezing up. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested the fans and found the RC evap fan motor struggling to come on. Also found the UI digits fading and after cycling power to the unit, the deli control failed to come on. I advised the customer of the many repairs the unit needs and they advised that they would not put anymore money into the unit and would buy a new one. I advised my service manager (CS) of my findings. No repairs made at this time and no water leaks observed during service. Job completed."

Arrived on site to diagnose a refrigerator that was not cooling properly. Found fc door had not fully closed properly at some point causing ice buildup on evap. Unit is working properly at this time and no leaks were found at time of service.

4-3 and 7-1 stored in memory. I allowed the unit to go into test mode and it failed to run the circulation pump and voltage was present. I removed the sump and inspected and found the rotor had failed and cracked longitudinally causing the circulation pump to not operate. I removed and replaced the sump assembly and tested. All normal functions returned and the unit operated as designed. No leaks observed during service.

Prior to my arrival, the customer had found and removed a large amount of debris from the venting system and the units operation resumed nearly normal operation. Arrived on site for refrigerator not cooling. On inspection found that the compressor was cool to the touch but was running. I asked the customer how long it has been plugged in. He said about 36 hours. The temp in the freezer was 80? and the RC was 82?. I put a starter dev on the compressor and a new control board in the unit. I plugged the unit back in and after 20 minutes the freezer was at 70? and the RC was at 78. Told the customer if the unit does not cool down all the way to 0? in the freezer to call the in the morning. I took pictures of the compressor and the drier just In case we have to go back out to do a compressor job. No water leaks detected during service.

"Arrived on site for oven with a error message. On inspection found the main screen on the oven had the error messages F9E0. The customer informed me that she had reset the breakers. I asked her to show me what breakers she had reset, we went out to the garage to the panel. I informed the customer the breaker for the oven was on the side of the house. I reset the breaker for 30 seconds and when I went back in side the oven was back at the Home Screen and the error was gone. I heated oven to 350? and the unit is operating as designed."

"I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Rich SR# 7735719319. He advised that there was no way to tell what exactly happened. He did advise that if the ice got stuck one time on the cutting grid, on the next icemaking cycle the water would have slowed across that ice sheet and melted all the ice in the ice bin. He advised that this can happen due to calcium buildup on the evaporator plate and the cutting grid. He asked the customer to clean the evaporator plate with a green scrubby brush. He advised to go ahead and replace the cutting grid due to calcium build up but to make no further repairs at this time. Replaced the cutting grid and the unit is working as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived on site for a range that has two higher burners and is changing temperature on the customer. Verified the flame issue and was able to turn down the valves at the valve stems. The customer advised that she lost temperature when baking bread. She pulled out two loaves of bread out of the oven and when she went to start a different cycle, the units went from being at 350? to being at 170? F. I did explain to the customer that when she is opening her oven in for a decent amount of time, she will lose temperature inside of her oven. Did explain this is normal operation as all the heat is escaping out of the oven. The customer also stated that one time the unit change time on her. She said that she adjusted the time back and it is not done it again but I was just curious if that was causing any kind of issue. I did explain to the customer that this can happen during power surges or if theres a glitch in the control. I told her that sometimes power cycling the unit can help get rid of any glitches the control has. Ran through diagnostics and did not find any stored error codes. Tested all functions of the machine and the unit is working as designed. Call complete."

Arrived on site for no cool. Found unit not powering on diagnosed a defective main control replaced main control powered unit on compressor and fans powered on.

"Arrived on site for range not heating correctly in oven. Upon arrival I tested oven at 350 for 30 minutes and found the following high/low swings: 376, 307, 350, 311, 360, 315, 360. Found unit Averaging between 340-345 when set at 350. Found unit is heating as designed with no leaks or failures. Call complete"

"WRT112CZJZ00 Arrived to inspect no cool. I found the unit would not cool and testing pressures revealed the low side at 20 of vacuum and 51 psi in the high. Vacuuming revealed the unit would not sustain deep vacuum, reaching 290 microns and then slowly climbing to 700 within 15 minutes. I could not find any sources of leaks and pressurized the system. There were bubbles that formed only when the system was pressurized, at the entry point for the capillary tube and return, in the liner at the evaporator. I contacted the manufacturer, SR# 7735878202 and advised of my findings. The MFG tech submitted the unit for PEX review. No water connections to unit."

MHW5630HC2 Arrived to inspect washer leaking. I discussed the issue with the customer and they have discovered water under the front of the machine intermittently. Service test mode had F0E2 stored and I cleared for testing. The unit passed service test mode and I found the door bellow did not have good contact with the door at the 11 oclock position. I removed and replaced the bellow and noted a positive seal. Retesting of the machine showed no more leaking from the door. Drain safety strap added. No leaks observed after repair.

Arrived on site for dishwasher needing previously diagnosed sump asm. Upon arrival reconfirmed issue and installed motor/sump asm. Upon reassembling unit I then tested and found no leaks and noise no longer present. Call complete

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer error codes. Upon further inspection, I found the customer was using the unit and it was drying some towels. I checked to make sure it was heating up and it was. I monitored the unit for approximately 25-30 minutes and it operated as designed. I checked the lint trap inside the unit and at the bottom of the unit. Cleaned the lint from the trap at the bottom. Ic old not get the unit to duplicate the error. Made recommendations for use and care, as well as, with the washer as the washer could be the reason the dryer is failing. Removed and installed gear case, actuator,cam,hub nut,agitator coupler,bolts. Calibrated the unit and ran it in diagnostics mode. The unit passed diagnostics and no water leaks detected during service."
