REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL WRX735SDBM00 "arrived on site to inspect refrigerator noise. Upon further inspection, the customer provided a video of the noise which appeared to be coming from the back. The customer advised that when it happens, they will move the refrigerator away from the wall a few inches and the noise stops. I placed the unit in diagnostics and turned the condenser fan on in test 3. I found that the warning label on the power cord was flapping with the airflow from the condenser and hitting the back of the unit and the wall. I advised the customer of my finding and using a zip tie, I wrapped the label around the cord and secured it with the zip tie. Tested the unit again, and no more noise. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Upon further inspection, Using my multimeter, I placed my thermal lead in the middle of the center rack and tested on Bake mode at 350 degrees. At preheat my temp reading was 405 degrees. My next five readings were 353, 377, 346, 374, 349 for an average of 359 degrees. I advised the customer of my findings. I tested the microwave with a cup of water and pressed start for a one minute quick heat. The unit operated as designed and heated the water. I referred the customer to their customer use & care guide for heating specific foods. Made recommendations on heating foods when using the oven. Job completed."

I found the shut off valve to the water supply turned off. Unit is sealing properly and ice has began to melt. Customer stated that the unit is beginning to cool in the fresh food. MICROWAVE KITCHENAID KOCE500ESS05 "Arrived onsite for the microwave/oven to replace the wiring harnesses advised by techline. I replaced the main harness, inverter harness, fan & TT harness, door latch harness, & MW harness. I powered the unit and had the same results. The chassis still has 120VAC to ground. I found the breaker panel cover removed and after further inspection I found the circuit to the oven was not a home run dedicated circuit. The panel had a black and white wire for the 240VAC with a solid copper ground and at the wall there are two black wires for the 240VAC with a bare stranded aluminum ground. I explained to the customer that this unit should be at least tripping the breaker with this happening and advised contacting a different electrical contractor. KJ9NR00EPL1-PARTS AND LABOR. I advised the customer that the vents would need to be checked out and cleaned and showed/explained the vent test that I performed. No lint observed during service, job completed."

I also found ice has gotten on the fan motor causing a high pitched noise. Cleared ice from fan and tested. Upon further inspection I found ice has built up all around the ice maker air inlet and return vent. Installed perma gum around ports to seal air leak. Installed new reservoir and tested for leaks. I placed my multimeter clamp around the black wire at the junction box and checked for Amps when the element came on; however, the element never came on. Upon further inspection, I found that the left side connection to the element was not connected. I reconnected the connector and tested the unit and it operated as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed. Due to SD-Mobile being down, I was unable to get a signature from the customer."
