"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher stopping mid cycle. Upon further inspection, the customer advised the unit would finish the wash cycle and the drain pump would intermittently turn on after the cycle was completed. I inspected the interior of the tub and found rust on the element (photo). I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F2E1-stuck key. Cleared the code and continued with testing and the unit operated as designed. Due to the error code, i disassembled the unit door to gain access to the main control/UI assembly and found a large amount of moisture built up on the inside of the outer door panel (photo). I found the vent has failed and is not venting the steam out properly. I removed and replaced the control, vent, and element and retested and unit is operating as designed. "Arrived on-site for a washing machine that is making squealing noises when the unit is spinning and has a door that is hard to open. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that normal load seemed to work fine with the unit, but bulkier loads sound like a belt is stripping. I gained access to the back and found the idler. Pulley. In good shape, but did find the belt loose causing the issue. I replaced the belt and found the door hinge, causing the door issue. I replaced the door hinge and ran the unit through diagnostic testing. I found the unit working and operating as designed. Call complete. WP8183202 and WPW10388414."

Arrived onsite for unit constantly running drain. I confirmed when plugged in with the water pressure line off and canceling the drain unit would kick back on the drain. "Arrived on site to test unit for tripping breaker. Upon arrival customer stated unit tripped the breaker and they could not reset. Have not used it since. Reset breaker successfully and started a bake cycle, unit tripped the breaker after broil relay clicked. Inspected unit, found not broken wires or evidence of a short or arcing. Unit is receiving proper voltage and has correct polarity, bonding strap between N and G has been removed. Followed TSP W11490386 and replaced the control (W11707168), bake element (W11182108) and broil element (W10856603). Removed ground strap from the terminal block and started a 500? cycle for 30 minutes. After time elapsed, reconnected the ground strap back to the terminal block and began another 500? bake cycle. Monitored for an additional 10 minutes, breaker no longer trips. Burn off is complete and relays on the control have been conditioned successfully. Instructed customer to continue running a 500? bake cycle for an additional 90 minutes to ensure proper burn off. Contacted SAFETY to document SR#7741295965. Advised customer if unit begins to trip the breaker again to get the breaker replaced. If issue still persists after breaker was replaced, call Whirlpool for further instruction. Unit is now running as designed, job complete."

"Arrived on site for a nice machine that is leaking. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that they've been noticing it leaking from the bottom side of the inlet valve, which is what was replaced back in October by another company. She advised that she was not sure whether or not it had been leaking since the previous repair or not.Because they have been in and out of the house. I gained access to the inlet valve and found water residue underneath the valve assembly. I went to replace the inlet valve and found one of the tubes had been stretched up, causing the leak. I replaced the inlet tube and valve and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed with no leaks present during operation. Call complete."

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is still not making ice. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit made ice for 1 day and then completely quit again. She advised that she did not hear water running through it, but could he seemingly hear the ice maker trying to make ice. I did confirm that the ice maker was completely dry. I gained access to the fill tube and found it frozen. I went ahead and replaced the fill tube heater and reassembled the unit. I ran the unit through diagnostics and checked all components. I found the icebox fan, not turn on during testing. I've gained access to the iceboxfan and found it out of range, indicating a failed icebox fan. I replaced the icebox, fan and reassembled the unit. I ran the unit through all diagnostic testing and found all components working and operating as designed. I advise the customer to keep an eye on the unit and to call back if any other issues persist. Call complete. W11087201 and W10846539."

"Arrived on site for a dishwasher that is not heating. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit just completely stopped heating and her dishes do not come out hot at the end of the cycle. I found the heater was in good condition and was not broken but found the float switch was stuck in an open state. I ran the internet through diagnostics and found an F7nE1 (heater disabled) and F6 E4 (float switch open) error codes. I ran the unit through an auto test and found all portions of the machine working and operating as designed, including the heater coming on, at the end of the cycle. I did advise the customer that it appeared that either she had too many suds in the unit, or something got stuck underneath the float switch at some point. The unit is working and operating as designed. No parts were installed. Call complete."

When they tried to use the unit and second time, the fill indicator continues to flash and the unit won't do anything. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and tested. The unit operated as designed. I calibrated the unit and then demonstrated to the unit how it operates. I advised the unit has a '2 start' process. I advised that if they have all of their settings where they want them and press the start button one time, the unit won't start unless they press the start button again. Also, if they select their settings and all of the indicators light up, they only have to press the start button once and I demonstrated both ways. "Arrived on site to test unit for burners clicking. Upon arrival customer stated they were cooking and the pot overflowed causing water to enter inside the cooktop. Now when the unit is plugged in, igniters will spark all the time. Applied power to the unit, burners are all igniting properly and igniters are no longer sparking constantly. Suspecting the water has dried on the electrical components and unit is now working properly. Could not mimic issue. Advised customer if issue returns to contact warranty company. "Arrivedmon site to inspect coin operated washer starting without any coins being used. Upon further inspection, I pressed the start button and the unit began a wash cycle. I cancelled the cycle and gained access to the main control behind the control panel. I disconnected the coin slide harness and plugged the unit in and allowed the control to reset. After approximately 20 seconds, I pressed the start button again and the unit continued to turn on without using any coins. Cycled power and disconnected the water temperature selector and then cycled power back on and allowed the contdol to reset. Again, after approximately 20 seconds, I pressed the start button and the unit did not turn on. I removed and replaced the temperature selector and reconnected the coin slide harness and retested by pressing the start button and the unit continued to not turn on. When the owner arrived, he advised that the coin slide slides all the way in with or without any coins. I tested the slide without coins and found it sliding all the way in. I gained access to the coin slide bolt and removed it and slid the slide out of the housing. After further inspection of the slide assembly, I found the plug retainer missing which is what keeps the slide from fully inserting with no coins. Using the slide assembly i arrived with, I replaced the old part and retested and the unit is operating as designed. I advised the customer of my findings and repairs. Arrived on site to test unit for not washing. Found error f8e1(no/long fill). Valves opening as designed. Found drain stand pipe not even 8' inches tall from the ground. Advised customer drain pipe needs to be at least 39' inches from the ground to hold water and wash. Provided installation instructions to customer. No parts replaced at this time. Job complete.

"Arrived on site to test unit for loud noise during use. Upon arrival customer presented video of the issue, during use the unit makes a very loud vibrational noise. Tested unit, could not mimic vibration sound customer was experiencing. Suspecting a possibility it may be the cover vibrating against an internal framing member. During testing, unit stopped heating and magnetron failed. Removed unit out of cavity and replaced capacitor (W11678970), magnetron (W10754299) and diode (W11256462). Tested unit, unit is heating and no irregular noises have been made during service. Advised customer to monitor. At this time unit is running as designed, job complete."

"Arrived on site to follow up on dryer not heating. Customer said they were using the time dry, and it wouldnt heat. I checked their settings and found the temp was set to air dry only, with no heat. Changed setting to high and ran. Verified unit heating as designed. Advised customer to double check their settings as this model had a software issue that would reset saved settings. Unit now working properly. No parts needed."

Arrived on site for microwave with failing cavity lamp. On arrival confirmed issue and installed w10886919 and found unit it working as designed call complete

"Arrived on site to follow up on dishwasher with issues with door. Customer said they feel like door is too hard to push closed, and seems like will pop open. They also wanted to have the door stay partially open to allow things to air dry. I tested the unit and found no mechanical failures, but the builder had adjusted the level. Level had the unit diving forward and needed to be correct. I also showed the customer how their spring closer worked, and that this unit is not built to allow the doors to stay partially open. I also advised them that the door has to be pushed when closing because it is sealing against a gasket, and it requires some pressure to close on this model. Unit is working as designed with no mechanical failures. Based on our conversation customer is looking for operation and features found on higher end models with different hinge designs. No further repairs or adjustments needed for this function. Called findings into tech line, SR7741316299. Tech line also has no recommendations as this is working as designed. Call completed."

"Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator with door swinging issues. On arrival customer showed me that the RC door will swing pretty hard if you take your hands off when you open it. I tested the unit and advised the customer this is working as designed due to be design of the RC door closer/cam. Showed her picture of how the cam is raised to guide the door one direction or the other, which is not the same setup as the freezer door. Leveled RC door and verified proper function. Advised to use caution since there is no opening or closing assist. Unit working as designed. Repair completed."

"Arrived on site to diagnose washer that won't start any cycles. Unit had flashing drain error, and water in the tub. Found wiring harness broken at the T for the drain pump. I removed the damaged section of wiring and reinforced with thicker AWG wiring, secured with solder seals. Tested unit and verified proper function. Unit working as designed. Repair completed. No parts needed."

"Arrived on site to diagnose washer that is not agitating and ending cycles. Found unit unplugged on arrival. When plugged in unit goes into a drain loop and does not stop. I was able to fully cancel out the cycle by holding down cancel for 20 seconds. I found after this the loop did not come back and I was able to properly run a cycle. I was able to also enter diagnostics, which had no error codes present. I advised customer that if the issue returns, to contact us and we need to return with a control to resolve the drain loops. At this time unit working as designed. No parts needed, unit was able to proceed with a reset. Call completed."
