Arrived on site to perform sealed system repair. Tapped system and found pressure present. Evacuated system. When I removed the compressor I found excessive amount of oil in the compressor. I replaced the compressor and drier and vacuumed down. Fixed a leak on the condenser line and charged unit. Verified good pressures. Replaced main control as well. Powered on unit ane verified cooling return. Repair completed.

I could hear the drain pump running so I checked the garbage disposal inlet and found that the knockout plate was still in place. I removed the knockout plate and tested the unit again. Arrived on site for a dryer that is making abnormal squeaking sounds intermittently. Inspected unit and work area. The customer had a load of sheets inside the dryer upon entry and I could immediately hear the squeaking coming from what sounded like the rollers. Disassembled the dryer and did confirm that the lower left-hand roller was causing the squeak. Went ahead and replaced both rollers and idler pulley and tested the unit. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator temps. Upon further inspection, I found the unit turned off. Turned the unit on at the control and pulled unit out to check compressor. I found the compressor is operating and while testing, I used my black light to look for any dye leaks. I found no leaks. I placed my guards on the sealed system high and low ports and found the unit was low in refrigerant. I inspected the welds at the compressor and drier and found the heat loop tubing coming out of the compressor had a small leak as it was producing a small air bubble (photo). The customer reset the power and everything started working and has worked now for two weeks. I found the oven not connected to WiFi. I connected the oven to WiFi and explained to the customer about the updates and what can happen if it is not connected. The customer tested the oven from his smart phone and the oven responds and works as designed. At this time the oven is working as designed. Call complete.

Upon inspection I found that there was ice in the ice maker. Attempted to run the ice maker test and the unit did not perform. Removed power from the ice maker and restored it and the ice maker did not cycle to the home position. Removed the ice maker and tested the voltage and found 123VAC going to the ice maker. But the unit would fill with water every time I replaced the control as it may be reading the info from water inlet flow meter wrong, I ran the unit in diagnostic again this time making sure the heater got voltage with it did and heated like normal. I did notice the customer are using pods and at the time was using too much rinse aid I advised the customers on detergent use as at times the temp sensor can be tricked by the excess soapsuds and lock the heater out at the end of the cycle. And I am having the customer monitor the unit to see if the performance gets better"

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer not heating. Upon further inspection, I tested the airflow to the unit and found it passed the first test (photo). When I went to test the unit for heat, the unit failed to turn on. I verified voltage at the wall and unit. After cycling power, the unit turned on. I found the neutral was wired with the ground at the terminal block and corrected. I tested temps at the vent tube at the back with my multimeter and thermal couple. On High temp, the temperature reached 152 degrees and on medium setting, the temps reached 145 degrees; both temp readings are within range of the manufacturer settings. I tested the components at the back and found the fuse, thermal cutoffs and thermostat were all good. I removed the element and found the middle metal plate was blackened and beginning to warp. I replaced the element and retested the unit and it is operating as designed. No lint observed during service, job completed."

"On arrival replaced the inner basket, gearcase, cam, belt, actuator. Ran calibration and then test cycle. Operational test good. No leaks detected during service. Job complete."

"JGS1450FS0 arrived on site to inspect a range with a F2E1 error code, heat coming from the right side, long cook times and a drawer off the railing. Upon arrival I found the right side drawer railing was not mounted to the chassis. Remounted the rail and now the drawer is seated properly. Inspected the door and found it slightly tilted out on the right side. Removed the door and inspected thoroughly but I was unable to find and bends or warping in the door or the cabinet. Checked for error codes and found the F2E1 code. Cleared the code for testing. I leveled the unit and turned on the oven to test the temp and felt the heat escaping from the right side of the door. Ordering the door liner to fix misaligned door. Tested the temperature of the oven and found it averaging well above 350. Checked the offset and found a 15 degree offset. Removed the offset and informed the customer of my findings. No gas leaks detected during service.; ordrng 1 W10902192 (Door liner)"

Arrived on site for unit. Left rear burner not igniting. Upon arrival inspected unit. Found ignition to be intermittent. Replaced holder assembly and tested. Unit is now functioning properly. Job complete.

"Arrived onsite for a washer that sometimes will just beep and flash when selecting a cycle and other times it will work but when start is selected it will not do anything unless I push on the front of the lid then it works. I found the encoder on the UI not responding correctly but everything else on the UI was working. I found the door switch in the latch failing. I replaced the console and the latch. I tested the washer and found it hammering when agitating to the left. I inspected the lower unit and found oil all over the chassis and rotor. The gearcase, rotor, and slider will also need to be replaced and possibly the washplate if it wont come off. Ordering W11393685 gearcase, W10734521 slider, W11260238 rotor, & W11550891 agitator. RS for Thu 11/16.; ordrng 1 W11393685 (Gearcase) and 1 W10734521 (Slider) and 1 W11260238 (Rotor) and 1 W11550891 (Agitator)"

Arrived onsite for a built in oven that seems to be too cold. Upon arrival I performed and temp test and found the the unit is 15* off and adjusted the unit accordingly and tested again and found the unit is now closer to the set temps

Arrived onsite for a built in MW that keep showing open and close door message on display when you try to use the unit. Upon arrival I found this to be true. Upon further inspection I discovered that this was happening because the unit is missing its lower/bottom supports causing the door to twist and not contact the interlocks properly. On arrival verified complaint of unit not moving past wash light during cycle. Checked motor at 6.5 ohms drain pump is 20 ohms door latch is good at101 ohms. Shifter was OL at main and at shifter. Replaced and rechecked found still OL at main indicating bad harness. Ordering and rescheduling for 11/17; ordrng 1 W11450611 (Lower harness)

Arrived onsite for dishwasher with no water. On inspection I found the water turn off for the dishwasher. Turn the water back on and ran the unit in diagnostics mode. It completed the diagnostics cycle with no issues. Found that they turn the wrong knob off due to a leak in the faucet. No leaks detected during service.

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher with burning odors. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that they used the unit and at the end they could smell something burning. I inspected the heating element and found some debris on the element on the left side which appeared to be melted plastic. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and tested. When the element came on, I tested amp draw and to 7-9 amps during wash and drying cycles. I wetted a cloth and attempted to remove the debris, but it would not come off. I removed and replaced the heating element and retested and unit is operating as designed. I contacted Whirlpool Safety Dept and spoke to Ken and advised of my findings and repairs. Ken documented my findings on SR#7737680958. No water leaks observed during service, job completed"

"Arrived on site to diagnose ice machine producing no ice. Examined unit and found it recirculating water and pumping/draining. Compressor is running, along with condenser motor, but not creating anything more than a low level of cold on the plate. Found what appears to be rust flakes on floor of the basin as well. This is indicating a failure in the sealed system, likely leaking evap. Ordering sealed system parts to resolve. Office to schedule SS repair. ; ordrng 1 WPW10218037 (Evaporator) and 1 WPW10605286 (Compressor) and 1 W11506635 (Access Valve) and 1 W10843121 (Non UV Dryer) and 1 Nitrogen (Nitrogen)"

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is going off balance and is not completing cycles. Inspected unit and work area. Found the washer leaning towards the front with the tub leaning up against the front panel. Adjust the feet on the washer to level out the unit. The customer advised that the unit fixed itself and has been working for the past several washes. She advised that when she initially called in, she was washing a quilt that was consistently not finishing out the cycle. Ran the unit through diagnostics and found an F0 E9 (off-balance pause) error code. I ran the unit through an auto test in the unit ran and operated as designed. I tested the suspension and found the suspension was good. I did advise the customer of the most likely issue with her load was the fact that heavy duty items such as quilts, rugs, and other bulky items like that can cause off-balance issues from time to time. Did advise the customer that the unit is working as designed. Call complete."
