"Ive done site for a dishwasher that is leaking. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advise that they had an F8 E4 (float switch open) error code pop up when they went to wash dishes one time. They looked online and found troubleshooting tips online and found water in the float switch housing. She advised that she had completely unplug the unit and removed the waterline connection under in the sink. I checked underneath the dishwasher for any water residue and could not find any. I re-seated all connections and plugged the unit in. I ran the unit through diagnostics and could not get the unit to leak any water. During the operation I opened up the door and found excessive sudsing happening inside of the dishwasher. Did explain to the customer that it is possible that the issue came from her over sudsing inside of the dishwasher, causing it to leak. Found all connections, secure, and no water leaking through another cycle. I advise the customer to switch to a liquid based soap. The unit is working as designed. Call complete."

"Ive been on site for a dryer that has a burning smell. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit did not smell from behind the unit or as soon as you open the door to the dryer, but seem to smell afterward like five minutes later. He just wanted to have the unit checked out as the unit is still working, but he didnt want there to be any kind of fire hazard. I disassembled the unit and checked all wiring and individual components. Could not find any evidence of any burnt wires or failed components. Tested the unit and the unit is working as designed. I did advise the customer what they were potentially smelling is the length of the backside of the heater element housing. I called Whirlpool safety team and spoke to Bianca SR# 7737000950. She advised to make no repair and the unit is working as designed. Call complete."

Did confirm the customers complaint, and found that the cover for the icemaker was not making proper contact with the door switch. Adjusted the cover and added a door bumper on top of the panel. "Arrived onsite for dryer not powering on. On inspection I checked voltage at the terminal block it was 248vac, checked thermal fuse, cut off sensor and thermistor and they were all good. Gain access to timer housing the timer was good had 248vac. Checked the push to start had no voltage. I gained access to the drum area ant tested the motor and it was good. I connected one led to the light blue wire that runs up to the start button from the motor connected the other to the start button. When I pushed the start button it showed 15 k resistance. Bad start button, ordering one WPW10446920; ordrng 1 WPW10446920 (Push to start)"

I asked the customer if they had a humidifier in the house, she said yes. I informed her that the humidifier would cause the flame to be yellow and orange. She feels more comfortable now since she knows that it is caused from the humidifier. I let them to know to open a door for about 15 minutes and the yellow and orange flames will go away. Arrived onsite for a microwave that is smoking the control when it comes on. I found the board with burn marks at the relays for the cavity lamp and the turntable motor. There was a little next to the hood fan relay. I tested the circuits for the cavity lamp and the turntable motor with both testing good. I checked the resistance on the hood fan motor windings and they were all in range. I tested the high voltage circuit and was getting a 10ohm resistance reading from the filament winding to ground. The new high voltage transformer I was sent with was damaged in the box. Ordering W11540981 transformer. RS for Wed 8/9. Marking all other parts as UORV.; ordrng 1 W11540981 (HV transformer)
