When the unit got to the spin test, the basket appeared to be bouncing around inside the tub and causing a loud banging noise. I stopped the diagnostics testing and opened the door. I lifted up on the basket and found that the bearing was bad and will need to be replaced. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested with no error codes showing. The unit operated as designed with no error codes at the end of testing. I also tightened the loose screws on the compressor and compressor fan. The evaporator cover screws were also removed and re tightened. I used my putty knife to reposition the gasket at the top of unit. JOB COMPLETE

REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL WRS325SDHZ01 "WRS325SDHZ01 Arrived to inspect frozen evaporator. I tested the element from the control and found 24 Ohms, as expected, on the circuit. The thermistor tested at 3.34 KOhms at a room temperature of 65. The evaporator fan was operating as designed, but I found the defrost thermistor located on the inlet side of the evaporator. I contact the MFG, tech Mark and inquired about thermistor placement. The tech advised the thermistor is likely in the correct position and could not verify positively and replacing the thermistor p/n W10384183 and UI to prevent further issue. File# 7723751048. I moved the thermistor to the suction/return side of the evaporator and returning test will need to inform CS of presence of frost/ice, upon return. No leaks observed during service. ; ordrng 1 W11214887 (UI) and 1 WPW10384183 (thermistor)"

The unit was already pulled from the wall so I removed the back cover to expose the compressor and components. I removed the main control cover to expose the control and found a burn spot on the main control. I unplugged the unit and removed and replaced the control and plugged it back in and the unit came on. The compressor came on and the unit began to cool. All lights were on, as well. I advised the customer of my findings. I put the back cover on and the control cover on as well. I put the unit back in its place and leveled/squared it. Checked the unit to make sure it was cooling and found that the fc and rc both were beginning to cool. Using an empty cup, I verified the water dispenser was working. No water leaks observed during, job completed."

The high was at 170 degrees and the low was at 80 degrees. The operating thermostat is sticking in the open position. Mr stated he had the vent cleaned. I explained to mr that the vent was no longer completely stopped up but it still had some restriction because the temp takes longer than normal to drop. I advised mr to call vent wizard. Found error F8-E2 dispenser error, F9-E1 long drain, F5-E2 door lock and F6-E1 communication error between ACU and MCU. Ran test cycle and did not advance past C03. Gained access to ACU and dispenser motor. Tested resistance on dispenser motor at connection D16 and found 1.5 K ohms, within range. Performed test cycle again and monitor dispenser motor operation. Found dispenser motor not finding correct position, due to normal wear and tear. Removed failed dispenser motor and installed new. Tested in automatic test mode. Inspected drain line and found tied in. All tested good, no water leaks present."

I found the water to unit shut off and I turned it on customer stated that it had over filled so he turned it off. I inspected for leaks and found all water connections dry. did find that the insulation had been wet around the float switch housing. I inspected the housing and I found the lever had come loose and was causing the open float switch error and I corrected issue. Allowed unit to run diagnostics and found that when draining the water backed up into the sink. After diagnostics completed I found no faults and unit working properly. Job complete

She has noted that loads three and eight did not spin out properly. Customer got them to spin out correctly by running a drain and spin. Found one saved error code for motor fault. Ran washer in diagnostic cycle recommended by tech sheet and it completed test properly. Spoke with Techline Steve 7723786225 he recommended checking all connections and resistance a control board and if they read good replacing control board. Replaced control board and it passed calibration cycle properly. If customer continues to have the same experience a second call to tech line will be needed. No water leaks from connections at time of service.
