Arrived onsite for a refrigerator to replace previous diagnosed parts. I accessed the compressor and tested the start capacitor finding it weak and the start device bad. The unit used the expected current during all functions and specifically with the element engaged. "Arrived on site for a range that is burning items in the oven. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advise it after they use the oven on Easter Sunday, the unit has been completely over cooking everything that they put in there and then it errors out and will stop cooking. Around the unit to diagnostics and found an F6 E1 (oven over-temperature) error code. I tested both elements and found both them working. Per the tech sheet I replaced the control, but I also replaced the oven sensor as well just in case. I tested the unit at 350?F and found temperatures fluctuate between 405?F and 321?F, averaging a temperature of 366?F. I did advise the customer that that is a little high and did adjust the oven temperature down in calibration down 15?. I attempted to program the new control and user interface with the model and serial information, and gave both Controls 5 to 7 minutes apiece to try to update the information over to the new boards. I found that the model and serial information would not transfer over to the new control or user interface. I attempted to try to update those controls and found nothing was working. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Robert SR# 7739140115. He advised that the model and serial information should have transferred over and he did not know what would be causing this issue. Customer has the unit connected to WiFi through the app on their phone and even trying to control the unit from their phone, the unit failed. Arrived onsite for MW making a noise. On inspection I could hear a noise when the MW first and when it ends the noise appears. On further the vent flap was scraping the plume when it open and when it closed. The plume needs to be a little bigger for the new MW. The MW is operating as designed and no parts were installed.

Arrived onsite for range with a gas smell. On inspection found no gas smell. Talking with the customer she said the unit is brand new and the first time she was using it when she smelled the gas smell. I asked if she was using the cooktop or the oven she said oven. Information her that she was probably smelling the oils from the manufacturer when the are milling the metal and it takes a few use to get rid of the smell. I did not smell any gas at all during the service. She said that she has not smelled the gas for a few days. Then she pointed out that one of the grates were cracked. Ordering grates. "Arrived on site for a refrigerator that has a bottom drawer that is seemingly dragging a little bit. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advise that he knew it might be normal, but just wanted to check on the freezer drawer to make sure that it was sliding in and out properly. I did confirm the slot Drawer was sliding in and out properly and did explain that part of what he may be hearing is due to the excess weight of the door since they have a wooden cabinet panel on the front. The drawer was sliding in and out freely and I did explain that that is normal operation on this unit. No parts were replaced. Call complete."

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator freezer frosting up and making a loud noise. Upon further inspection, I tested temps in the FC=16 degrees. When I placed the unit in diagnostics, I found the UI missing digits. I forced a defrost on the unit in test 38 and disassembled the FC section and found the FC drawer brackets broken and ice/frost on the evap cover. Removed the ice/frost debris and removed the evap cover and found ice across the top of the evaporator (photos). I found the evap motor engulfed in ice and removed the ice from around the fan blades. I found the defrost element not heating due to a burnout on the right side of the element. I placed the unit back into diagnostics and tested the fan in test 3 and the fan motor failed to come on. I tapped on the fan motor and it would intermittently turn on. Also found the right RC door gasket torn; the ice bin door gasket badly crimped; and the ice maker housing fascia gate warped and would not open/close. When the unit went out of defrost mode, I found the evap producing a good frost pattern. I am ordering the UI, HV control, evap fan motor blades, FC bracket set, ice maker housing fascia, ice bin door, fill tube heater, right RC door gasket and CNOTE-2HR JOB. Also ordering a CNOTE-AUTHORIZATION FOR PARTS. On arrival Verified complaint of noise in agitate and water constantly dripping into unit. Verified water pressure is good and replaced water valve assy. Ran diag test and found all components are opertional but does have a knock during agitate. Replaced gearcase and unit no long makes knocking sound. Calibrated unit and verified unit is now functioning correctly. Job complete no leaks detected during service. Installed w11454372 and w11038689

Arrived onsite and installed the heater assembly. All checks good. Advised customer on repair. W11650661

"Arrived on site to test unit for not tumbling. Unit is receiving proper voltage, tested sensors found thermal fuse reading open. Replaced thermal fuse (WP3392519) and tested, unit is now tumbling and heating. Vent test is showing good airflow. Unit is running as designed, job complete."

Arrived on site and replaced previously diagnosed outer door(WPW10535776). Unit now working as designed. Job complete.

"Arrived on site for refrigerator needing sealed system repair. Upon arrival found that cooling issue was caused from bad start device and cap and compressor kicking on and off. Cooled down compressor to a safe temp and replaced cap wpw10662129, and start device wpw10194431. Found steady amp draw of 1.2 and evap coil evenly frosting over, informed customer to give unit 24 hrs to stabilize temps. Call complete"

"CAE2745FQ1 Arrived to inspect non-operation. The machine had no indicator lights that would illuminate and would only start filling in the cool position, regardless of selection. Attempted service test mode entry failed and there were still no indicators lit. I removed and replaced the control and was able to then enter service test mode and calibrate. All functions were present within automatic and manual tests. No leaks observed during service."

KTTS505ESS0 Arrived to inspect door falling off. The factory spot welds were all insufficient and were not fully bonded. I temporarily fastened the front to the container and the customer is aware of the temporary nature of the repair. "Arrived on site for a washing machine that is still leaking. Inspected unit and work area. The customer showed me several photos of paper towels that she was using to clean up the water off of her floor. She advised that it only seems to leak a couple drops to a full cop depending on the low type. She advised that both your loads like sheets and towels seem to leak a lot more than clothes, and that there are certain cycles with clothes that never leak. I tested the unit and manual diagnostics and filled the tub in basket up 3/4 of the way with water. I ran it through manual agitation, drain, and spin. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Rob SR# 7738946778. He advised to run a quick wash with towels, and that if it did not leak, there would be nothing wrong with the unit and an issue with the customer loading. We ran. I said of towels through a quick wash cycle and at the end of the cycle, I found water droplets on the outside of the tub on the front side. it appear to be leaking from the tub ring. I called whirlpool tech line back and spoke to Nate (same SR#). He advised that because the tub ring had already been replaced, he would probably replace both the top ring, and the tub itself. Ordering parts in the office will need to contact the customer about a return date due to an out of stock and PSP item. Please schedule service for two hours.
