I advised the customer to switch to a liquid detergent and to use approximately 1 TBSP, as a good starting point, to use rinse agent and to purge cold water from the sink supply, prior to use. MVWB835DW3 Arrived to inspect noise during wash. I found the unit was leaning badly and the installer had added non-mfg-approved stabilizers to the feet of the unit. I removed the stabilizers and correctly centered the rotating mass within the chassis via the leveling legs. During further testing I found debris lodged within the drain pump. I removed the pump and removed the debris and verified pump integrity. I re-calibrated the unit and tested within automatic and manual test modes. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service.

arrived on site for produce drawer frozen and won't open. Upon further inspection, I found that there was a large mass of ice buildup on the rc evaporator and had frozen to the produce drawer. The produce drawer was open approximately one inch which was allowing a large amount of airflow into the cabinet. I defrosted the ice and repositioned the thermistor. Also, I found that the drain tube had an 1/8 inch gap between the tube and the cabinet. I used manufacturer approved silicone and sealed the tube and tested the unit and it tested good. No water leaks detected during service.

Unit passed test with no faults of failures. Contacted techline and was told it could only be the cooling fan or air escaping from oven. Techline said check gasket. While explaing this to mother inlaw was told the husband leaves door open during cool down. This allows the cooling fan to draw only hot air which will blow thermal fuse. Since this happens during cool down the customer doesnt notice the issue until they go to use it the next time leading them to believe the failure happened when mot in use. Instruct customer on not leaving door open during cool down and ensuring gasket is sealing well. Job completed.

Upon further inspection, I found that the feed tube was not properly mounted on the back wall of the unit. Also found that two lock pins, one on each adjuster, were broken. I properly remounted the feed tube and advised customer of proper detergent use as I found a large amount of suds buildup during diagnostics. Office to order 2 adjusters and return service is scheduled for 04/23/18 MS. I will replace both tracks upon return service. No water leaks observed during service.

Replaced timer and tested dryer on timed and auto dry cycles. Tested cycle temperatures to verify airflow. Found internal cycle temps with vent hose attached reaching 248 degrees which is higher thn normal range. With vent hose removed outlet cycle temps were 165 which is normal. Advised customer have exterior venting checked due to long run through ceiling. Timer is advancing and no lint buildup found within exhaust or vent hose. Job complete

Amana washer NTW4516FW1 Arrived to check unit for not starting a cycle. Put unit into diagnostics and started a automatic diagnostics cycle and found it started to fill and the unit stopped and all lights went out except the lid lock and lid lock would not cancel out. Found the main control bad. Installed new control and checked operation, checked good with no water leaks.

arrived on site for dryer not drying. Upon further inspection, I verified ohms at the element, cutoff and thermostat. I verified ohms at the thermistor and it read open. Office to order thermistor and customer will contact the office to schedule return service. No lint observed during service.
