arrived on site to inspect noisy dryer. Upon further inspection, I turned the unit on and immediately it began to make a loud rubbing noise. I removed the top and front lower panel to inspect and when I turned the unit on again, I could hear that the noise was coming from the rear rollers area. I removed the door and drum and as I was replacing the rear rollers, I found that the right rear roller was rubbing on the axle causing the friction noise. I removed and replaced the dryer kit and tested. Unit operated as designed with no noise. No lint observed during service, job completed.

He did inform me that the plumber pulled the unit out the wall to turn the water off and they found that the copper tubing behind the fridge was leaking. I informed the Mr. that that would be house related not product related. The Mr. will have his plumber replace the leaking copper pipe.

Arrived on site for both oven not heating and multiple burners not igniting. Both oven igniter’s are defective. The left front burner is defective. However all of the burner head screws are corroded and will break into burner heads. All must be removed to do the repair. So that means two igniters will need to be replaced. All five burners need to be replaced. All burn or screws will need to be replaced. This is an approximate $900 repair and the customer wants to look at new units. $90.92 each. Upon further inspection, I found that the Evap drain tube was clogged and causing the water buildup in the bottom of the freezer. I unclogged the tube and it flowed freely. Also, I found that the ice chute door was broken. I removed and replaced the ice chute door and tested and it operated as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed.

Arrived on site for him proper temperatures. I found that the freezer 10° in the fresh food was at 46°. Upon inspecting unit I found a beautiful frost pattern on the evaporator coil. I found that the condenser coil needed vacuuming very badly. I also found that the fresh food air vent hood products in front of it totally blocking it. I suspect these two things were causing the M proper temperature conditions as both fans and the compressor were working properly. All water connections were dry.

I removed the left rc door and found that the bottom hinge was slightly bent downward. I adjusted the hinge so that it sat level and placed the door back and tested and the door and mullion close properly. Using the leveling legs, I leveled the unit so that the doors close properly as before, they remained open and had to be forcefully closed. Now they close without force. No water leaks observed during service, job completed.

Customer is using sensor dry and not time dry, instructed customer on drying alike clothing to where sensors will be able to evenly read clothing dampness. Also instructed customer if drying unlike clothing to use time dry. Showed customer how to clean sensors due to customer using dryer sheets. Venting is clear as air flow is good. Ducting is going over 25 feet to get to outside- this will reduce new air flow. Verified temperatures on sensor cycles and on time dry. All temps are within specification. Did increase dry time on sensor dry to 15% more time. Unit is not hooked to water but has steam cycle. All operations check good.

arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not buying. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics and checked for error codes and error code 5/1 appeared. I cleared the code and continued with testing. At the end of testing, the unit operated as designed with no error codes. I took a cup of water and poured it on the heating element and it sizzled and steamed so I know it's operating. I recommended some cycles and ways to operate the unit in order to attempt to get the dishes dry. Customer is using appropriate detergent and rinse aid, as well. Arrived on site for no drain. Upon arrival there was a small amount of water in the rear of the basket. I turned the unit on and observed a complete rinse/spin cycle. All operations are normal with no problems and no leaks found. It is possible, since this was clear water that I saw, the water valve my periodically be seeping. This is a Full size stacked washer and dryer and I cannot access anything in the unit. The customer will let me know 24 hours from now if there is any water in the unit and she will not use the unit during that 24 hours. We will know then what to tell American home Shield.

Arrived on site and found the dryer is heating properly, took one picture of temperature at 140° and one picture of element on. Removed vent hose and found airflow out the rear of the dryer is good. Recommended to customer that vent to exterior of home be cleaned by a service. The last time this was done is unknown. No lint build up and dryer at time of service, job complete.

arrived on site to inspect refrigerator not cooling. Upon arrival, the customer advised that the unit was operating and cooling just fine, but the compressor never shuts off. The unit was located outside on the northwest side of the house under a porch. The unit was unplugged at the time of service. I plugged the unit in and waited for it to cool. The unit began to cool immediately. I inspected the condenser coil on the back of the unit and it was very clean and the condenser line was beginning to get hot. The unit was operating as designed, but due to it being outside and the outside temps getting close to or over 100 degrees, the compressor will continue to run to keep everything inside the unit cold. I found nothing wrong with this unit. I quoted the customer RF100. $99.99 for a total including tax of $108.24. The customer paid in full. No water lines connected to the unit. Job completed.

Arrived on site for noisy fan operation. Remove unit from wall and found that the fan was not the problem but the way that the previous servicer reassembled the back of the unit. The back panels were all loose and not in proper place. Corrected and the Mrs. and I now hear the unit working with a normal sound level.
