Upon further inspection, the customer showed me a picture of her neighbors broiler compared to her broiler and the flames were very different. I turned the broiler on and observed the flames to be about a 1/4 inch in diameter. I adjusted the air shutter to the broiler and increased the flame size to the customers preference. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed.

Upon further inspection, the customer advised that her unit is the second one she’s had and the previous unit had issues with the diffuser which is what’s making loud noises on her new unit. I opened the rc door and immediately, I could hear the diffuser whining while it opened and closed. I removed and replaced the diffuser and tested it and the unit operates as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed.

arrived on site to inspect dryer not working. Upon further inspection, the customer plugged the and opened the dryer door to show me that the heating element comes on when the unit is not turned on and that the unit does not turn on. I unplugged the unit and remove the back panel to inspect the components. Using my thermalcouple, I verified ohms to the cutoffs and element, but found the the thermal fuse was open. I removed the element to find that the element plate was warped and had arced to the heater box. I quoted the customer DR310 $169.99 for diagnosis/labor to replace the element and fuse and $61.75 for the element and $25.40for the fuse for a total including tax of $278.35. The customer agreed to the repair and paid in full. I replaced the element and removed and replaced the fuse and tested the unit. Unit operates as designed, no lint observed during service. Job completed.

arrived on site to inspect microwave making a loud noise. Upon further inspection, I placed a cup of water in the unit and started it on a quick 30 second heat. At the end of the cycle, I never heard any out of the normal noises. The customer advised that the noise occurs when they heat up something for more than a minute and sometimes the noise goes on for the entire heating cycle. I removed the unit from the wall and then removed the cover to expose the inner parts. I continued testing with the cup of water inside and finally the unit began to make the noise the customer was comp,singing about. I found that the top of the cabinet was vibrating against the fan motor housing. Using some sound reducers from my van, I removed the fan motor and placed the sound reducers in between the cabinet and fan hosing and placed the fan back in its spot and retested. I could not duplicate the noise. I advised the customer of my findings and the repair. I placed the unit back on the wall. Job complet

arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not functioning properly. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that they attempted to start the unit in the China wash mode and the unit went straight to rinse mode. I attempted to place the unit in diagnostics and the unit failed. Per tech sheet, if the unit does not start test mode order a control. I removed the inner door from the outer door to look at the control and I found that the door latch was broken. I quoted the customer $151.90 for the control, $51.40 for the turbidity sensor, and DW550 $169.99 for a total including tax of $404.08. The latch is not available in white so I cannot order it. The customer did not agree to the repair and decided to purchase a new dishwasher; therefore, the total cost for today was $108.24 which the customer paid in full. No water leaks observed during service, job completed.

arrived on site to inspect oven making noise. Upon further inspection, I turned the unit on Bake at 350 degrees and hit start two times to start preheat in Standard Preheat mode for multiracks. The iced that the unit makes a whistling noise when the blower comes on. After a few minutes of preheat, the blower/fan came on and began its normal humming noise. I advised the customer that the noise we were hearing was normal. Using my thermalcouple, I tested the heat in the unit by placing the lead in the middle of the center rack and the temps were normal, as well. I recommended that the customer operate the unit in Standard Preheat for multirack mode by pressing Bake and press a Start two times to get a more evenly preheat. Job completed.

W11245251 Switch kit service pointer. SR 7723100107 Talked with techline after repeat symptom and found wiring to be miswired from factory. Was advised to re wire with switch kit according to service pointer. Ordering switch kit to repair. All else checks good.

arrived one ore to inspect dryer not drying. Upon further inspection, using my dryer vent tester kit, I placed the tester inside the drum on the air vent and placed the unit in fluff mode and tested. The card to the kit never fell off on any test (3 times). I turned the heat on to the unit at the console and turned the unit on and felt a little heat. I removed the back panel to expose the wiring , fuse, cutoffs and element. I verified ohms to all of the components. I removed the element to further inspect and found that the e the element assembly was burnt and will crack soon, but the element checked good on ohms. I removed and replaced the element to prevent a future call back. In the process of removing the connections, one of the connectors broke so I had to use the cutoff that was prescreened and I used the wire that was in the cutoff packaging to repair the broken connector. I tested the unit and it operated as designed other then poor airflow. I advised the customer of my finding

GLD4200L00BB (Dishwasher) - Arrived onsite to install new drain pump and cap to dishwasher. Uninstalled dishwasher and removed drain pump assembly. Installed new replacement. Installed rinse aid cap. Reassembled. Tested unit. Unit now fills,washes drain and heats as intended. All water connections were dry at time of service.
