arrived on site to inspect microwave light not working. Upon further inspection, I found that the customer had already taken the venthood light housing out along with the light bulb and was lying on the countertop. I found that the connectors on the housing were burnt and the white wire to the light connector was burnt as if it had arced. I plugged the connector in ad tested the light and it did not come on. I removed and replaced the main control and tested and the light came on high and low beam. I replaced all screws and light cover. Job completed.

arrived on site to inspect refrigerator freezing in the fresh foods section. Upon arrival, the customer advised that they had some vegetables freeze in the rc section in the crisper drawer. Using my thermalcouple, I tested the temperature in the rc section by placing my lead below the crisper drawer towards the back of the unit. I noticed the customer had the rc temp set at 42 degrees. After approximately 4-5 minutes of testing, my reading was 42.4 degrees in the rc section. Using the same method, I checked temps in the fc section and my reading was 5.2 degrees. The customer advised that the ice cream was hard as were the other items in the fc section. I placed the unit in diagnostics ad tested the damper ad found that it was very loud and was not closing all the way. I removed and replaced the damper control and tested again and it operated as designed. I reset the unit temps for the rc back to factory settings of 38 degrees and the fc temp was already set at 0 degrees. No water leaks

Also found a previous company had crossed wires on thermal cutoff causing cutoff to arc and corrode wiring enough that it has fallen apart on connector. Also found timer not advancing correctly and knob is broken not showing direction. Unit will need new element, thermal cutoff, timer, timer knob, and wiring harness to repair unit.unit is unplugged and broken wiring has been taped. Instructed customer not to plug unit back in, as it is not safe. Harness is a psp part so will need to reschedule for 9/27/18. Unit will need to be delinted upon return as well.

arrived on site to inspect range cooktop ignitors constantly sparking. Upon further inspection, the customer had turned the unit off at the breaker. After he turned it back on, I tested each burner and found that the middle burner constantly sparked even when the middle burner wasn’t being turned on to ignite. I removed and replaced the spark module and tested all burners again and they all operated as designed. Customer provided a copy of the closing date for warranty purposes and I updated in my ticket. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed.

I cleared the code and continued with testing and the unit operated as designed except the dispenser door did not open. I ran the unit through diagnostics again and the unit operated as designed, but again the dispenser door did not open. I noticed that there was soap residue on the inner door under the dispenser which appeared that the detergent was leaking out and not being dispensed correctly. I am ordering the dispenser and the control and scheduled return service for 09/25/18. No water leaks observed during service.

Cycled ice maker and found cube was hung up during ejection. Inspected fill tube and water fill. All functions of ice maker check good. Temperatures on unit check good and no frost buildup found on evaporator or air return. Sealed system repair not needed. arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not working. Upon further inspection, I attempted to place the unit in diagnostics and nothing happened. I checked to make sure the unit was plugged in and it was so I verified voltage at the outlet and got 124 volts. I checked the junction box and the wiring was correct, but the white wire was not fully intact. I reconnected the white wires and tested the unit again and this time it came on for a brief second then turned off. I verified voltage at the junction box and then to the control. After looking this unit over, I checked the junction box again and while the unit was plugged in, I wiggled the ground wire and the unit came on. I unplugged the unit and unscrewed the ground wire and then screwed it back to the chassis and tested the unit and the unit came on. I placed the unit in diagnostics again and tested with no error codes showing. At the end of diagnostics, the unit operated as designed with no error codes. I did find that the customer us

I removed the top of the unit to expose the interior of the unit ad found that the control mount was not secured on one end and was rubbing on the drum causing the noise. I adjusted and remounted the control mount and tested the unit and the noise stopped and the unit operated as designed. I quoted the customer DR100 $108.24 and they paid in full. arrived on site to inspect microwave not heating. Upon further inspection, I found that the unit operates but does not heat. I tested the unit by placing a cup of cold water in the unit and turned it on for a quick 30 second warm up. At the end of testing, the water was still cold. I removed the unit from the wall and removed and replaced the magnetron, diode ad capacitor. Before placing it back in its space, I tested it by using the same cup of cold water on a 30 second warm up. At the end of testing, the water water hot to the touch. I put the unit back together and mounted it back in its space and tested one more time. Unit operated as designed, job completed.

WRX986SIHZ00 Arrived on site to repair unit for delay on lights illuminating, I found light control shorted, replaced the control and lights started working as designed, also found heavy condensation in fresh food, the temps were not set to factory recommendation, I adjusted the temps to factory settings, cleaned up all condensation and enabled the mullion heater to stay on all the time, no water leak present at the time of service

Arrived on site for no operation. The unit actually instantly turns on the drain pump when you first plug the unit in thinking that it is full of water but it has no water in it. When I remove the pressure hose from the control board which should stop the drain pump, the drain pump continues to run indicating it failed control. The drain pump is also noisy. So I am ordering a control and a pop and will need office to reschedule due to availability.

Arrived on site to replace loosefitting evaporator cover. Opened box and the new cover has a black mark with scratches underneath it. The customer rejected this panel and we will need to re-order another one but it is X part. Office will reschedule.
