Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics to test with no error codes showing. I found that the dispenser door spring was not catching; therefore, not allowing the door to open and detergent to be dispensed. I continued with testing and the unit operated as designed other than the dispenser not functioning properly. I removed and replaced the dispenser and tested the unit again. Upon further inspection, I found that the ice maker actuating arm was not on the ice maker causing it to continuously make ice and dump in the freezer chamber bottom. I attempted to re-install the arm, but found that where the arm seats is broken and the arm just falls off. . The customer agreed to the repair so I removed and replace the ice maker and tested and it operated as designed. I removed the excess ice cubes from the fc section. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the unit was leaking from the vent in the door and I could see water streaks on the front of the door. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested with no error codes at the beginning. The unit operated as designed with no water leaks visible. I removed the inner door and found condensation on the vent possibly due to the heat from the unit and the humidity in the air inside the home. I advised the customer of my findings. I replaced the door gasket and tested the dishwasher. Water started pouring out of the bottom front right corner periodically. I checked the lower spray arm and found the bearing and coarse strainer missing. I found all of the screws in the pump outlet loose causing the majority of the water to spray over the front of the tub. I tightened the pump outlet and most of the leaking stopped. Need to replace the spray arm bearing and coarse strainer to complete service. Ms stated that the unit turns off by itself because one night they ran it and the next morning the pod was laying in the bottom of the tub and the dishes were still dirty. I explained that something could have gotten stuck under the float switch. I ran diagnostics and there were no stored error codes. I tested the unit and all functions worked as designed. I found the grinding noise coming fro the drain pump and I removed a piece of glass from the pump. I went over running the hot water in the sink before starting the machine with ms to cut down cycle times. There were no water leaks present at the time of service. Call complete."

I asked the customer how often they run the machine and ms stated daily. I found the sump with only about a half inch of water in the sump under the filter. I ran diagnostics and found an F7E1. I found one of the element wires had come off causing no heat and the error. I reinstalled the wire and it is working as designed. Mr stated he had a dishwasher cleaner and would run it through the unit to remove the smell.
