"I arrived on site for a washing machine that is still not washing clothes intermittently. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that since the prior repair the unit has worked a few times but they are having to unplug it and re-plug it back in order to get the unit to actually turn on and work. Otherwise, the unit will go through the sensing portion of the cycle and then say that the wash cycle has completed. Around the unit for diagnostics and found an F0 E7 (clothes detected during the wash cycle) error code. The customer had clothes inside the washer, so I went ahead and went to start a normal wash cycle. Found the unit attempt to spend the agitator, but not the full basket and could not hear the buzz to the clutch to engage the magnet for the slider. I checked the wall for voltage and polarity and found proper voltage and polarity. I checked underneath the washer and found all connections were good and found the slider would slide freely. I unplug the washer and plugged it back in and tested the unit again. Found the washer start to spin and start an actual wash cycle. I called whirlpool Techline and spoke to Ed SR# 7737112474. He had me go through a couple checks and advised that the customer needed to run through a clean, wash cycle and then test it again. I ran the unit through a clean, wash cycle and advise the customer to call me back if the unit was continuing to wash after the clean wash cycle. The customer advised that the unit had finished out the cycle and had gone through 20 minutes of the next wash. I advise the customer to call back if any other issues persist. Call complete."

Arrived on site to test unit for long dry times. Found unit failed ventilation test with vent hose connected and passes with hose disconnected. Checked exterior vents and did not find any air coming from vents. Advised customer to either call contractor or ventilation cleaning service to remove obstruction. After further inspection I found harness to capacitor had broken mid cycle leading to washer thrashing and breaking shield free as well as damaged the belt, cam and actuator. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that they got water from the water dispenser and when they went to dispense ice, the unit UI went blank and the unit stopped cooling, but the interior lights remained on. They advised the unit stayed shut down with lights on for approximately three days then out of nowhere, the unit came on and began to cool again. I tested the ice dispenser and it dispensed ice. I checked the ice bin and it nor the dispenser motor were jammed up. I tested temps in the unit and the FC=6 degrees & RC=39 degrees. Unit is operating as designed. As a precaution, I removed and replaced the UI and HV control and retested. Unit continues to operate as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived onsite for cooktop tripping breaker. On inspection when you plug the unit in the breaker trips, unplugged everything except the module plugged the unit in and the breaker tripped. Replaced the module and retested the unit and the breaker tripped again. I followed the power cable back and found the Neutral was pinched between the cover and the orifice holder and was grounded out. I fixed the issue and tapped up the pinch and retested. It is working now, ordering a new cable to replace the pinched cable. Turn the compressor on and immediately her to his inside of the refrigerator section. Found the evaporator had a major leak where the cap two went into the evaporator. Fix the weld where the cap tube goes into the evaporator and replace the dryer. I vacuumed down to -30 psi and found pressure hold. Went to charge the unit and the charging kit that was sent with me would not grip the R 600 canister to charge the unit. Looked inside the charging head and found that the threads were stripped. Spoke to JC and was advised we would need to reschedule the customer. When I went to push the refrigerator back, I found the refrigerator door, not sealing properly on the side away from the hinge. Looked at the cabinet and found the cabinet worked on the bottom that was affecting the hinge. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Chris SR# 7737106727. He had me take several photos of the Boeing in the cabinet and advised that it was not enough bow to cause an issue. He advised that the unit needed to be leveled in a way to get the door to close because the door was leaning slightly down away from the hinge side. spoke to Casey and was advised we would get the customer rescheduled ASAP. ; O-emld tckt"

Arrived onsite for a washer that is not draining properly. Upon inspection I found F9e1 (slow drain) code stored. I checked the drain pump filter and found that it was restricted I cleaned it and ran the drain pump several times and found that it drained out the water from the unit every time. I found the sensing light just blinking when the unit is powered on but none of the other selections will respond. I found the drain pump showing 20 ohms from the control. They advised that when they cook on that burner, and the burner itself is really hot, that sometimes the unit will ignite again, but they are having to manually light that burner when they use it. Disassembled the unit and found all connections were good. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Andrew SR# 7737094377. He had me go through a couple checks and advised that the issue would be with the spark module. Replaced the spark module and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. "Arrived on site to test unit for popping noise, customer stated that it was arcing out in the terminal block, after he inspected it he found that the power cord was loose, he replaced cord but unit did not power on, inspected all wires and found everything connected properly, but no incoming voltage, checked breaker and found it tripped, reset and tested, unit is now running as designed, job complete"

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer not heating. Upon further inspection, I tested airflow using my vent test kit and found the vents need to be checked/cleaned. I removed the rear panel and inspected the element, cutoffs, fuse and thermostat and found the top cutoff and element open. I removed and replaced both and retested and unit is operated as designed. I recommended the customer have someone check the vents and have them cleaned. No lint observed within the unit during service, job completed."

Arrived onsite for freezer freezing up and frosting. Upon arrival inspected unit. Found frost buildup around ice chute and door area. Found upper part of freezer door gasket not making good contact with cabinet. Used heat gun and Molded gasket to fit to frame. No more air gaps. Unit is now functioning properly. Job complete

Arrived on site for refrigerator needing previously diagnosed harness and rc evap fan asm. Upon arrival reconfirmed failure and installed parts. Informed customer to give unit 24 hrs to stabilize temps. Call complete

Arrived on site to test unit for it draining. Test unit and found bad drain motor and damaged drain hoses. Replaced drain motor and hoses test unit and unit test good job complete.

"Arrived on site for refrigerator not cooling. Upon arrival confirmed failure. Found large ice build up indicating a defrost issue in fc. Replaced evap thermistor, ui control as well as hv control. Informed customer to give unit 24 hrs to stabilize temps after giving unit a 24 hr defrost with doors open call complete"

"I dont say for a refrigerator that is still making noise. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised at the unit has been better, but that it still makes a buzzing sound occasionally in use. The customer showed me a video of what was going on. Checked behind the compressor area and did find one refrigerant line that was touching up against the drip tray. Added sound pads to the refrigerant line as well as the compressor and surrounding areas. Once the compressor did kick on, the customer advised that the compressor sound, he was hearing was the sound That the unit was making but that sometimes it sounded a little louder. I did explain to the customer that the compressor sound was normal. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Robert SR# 7737102484. He advised that based on everything that had been done that there is nothing else we could do to alleviate the sound, and that the compressor noise is normal with these newer units. He advised that he will document file and to make no further repair. Call complete."
