"arrived one site to inspect refrigerator freezer not cooling properly and control flashing. Upon arrival, the customer advised that the previous tech did not find anything wrong with the unit other than the FC door rails dragging and they greased them. The customer advised that the unit was operating fine when the previous tech was last here. The customer advised that the unit control settings were at factory settings of 0/37 degrees. Upon further inspection, using my thermalcouple, I placed my thermal lead at the bottom of the FC section and my reading was 23.2 on a control setting of 30. Using the same method, I tested the RC section by placing my thermal lead under the crisper and my reading was 37.2 on a setting of 44. When I opened the RC door to remove my lead I noticed the control had reset itself to 20 degrees in the FC section. By my readings, it appears/feels like the RC section is cooling properly. "arrived on site to inspect range door hinge locked up. Upon further inspection, I found that the double oven top oven door had been removed and the left hinge was not secured before doing so and it locked up. Being as I was not provided with a hinge for prescreened, using my channel locks and towel (to protect door/countertop) I was able to pull the hinge out far enough to secure the lock on it and re-install the oven door. I tested the unit and it operated as designed. Job completed."

"arrived on site to inspect microwave fan coming on randomly. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the unit fan came on when they weren’t using the range/oven and had not put anything in the microwave. Also, the interior light is flickering when the door opens. I could not get the fan to come on randomly, but when I opened the unit door, the light flickered a lot. I removed and replaced all three switches and both interlocks and tested the unit. The unit operated as designed. Using my multimeter, I verified ohms to the cavity thermistor located behind the main control. I explained to the customer that the fan will come on if they are using the range or if the unit gets too hot. Job completed."

"KFIV29PCMS01 Arrived to inspect ice. I found the fc floor covered with a sheet of ice. The rc floor was filled with water and some ice near the evaporator. On prior service the drain tube was sealed, but I found the drain tube actually had a restriction. I removed the restriction, but due to internal deposits, I replaced the drain tube. I re-sealed it on the rc evap side and tested. I removed all remaining ice and water and re-leveled and squared the chassis. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service."
