arrived on site to inspect washer door not unlocking. Upon inspection, I found that the unit was in flood mode. I placed the unit in diagnostics and error code F3E1 appeared. I unplugged the unit and removed the top of the unit and manually unlocked the unit door. I placed the unit in diagnostic mode again and tested. Unit operated as designed and no error codes at the end of diagnostics. I advised the customer on proper detergent use and advised not to use the detergent pods as they produce too much suds and will cause the unit to go into flood mode as it did this time. I advised the customer that while testing the unit, I found a large amount of soap suds in the basket even though there was no detergent added to the unit before testing. I instructed the customer on the right amount of detergent and softner to use with each load. No water leaks observed during service.

arrived on site to inspect vent hood fan not working. Upon further inspection, I found that when turning the fan switch on the fan motor sounds as if it is working. I removed the vent filter and found that the fan blade had been melted onto the motor. The customer advised that a large flame had gone up to the filter while she was cooking. I advised the customer that the motor assembly would need to be replaced; however, that part is no longer available and she would need to replace the entire vent good unit. I unplugged the fan from the switch and used electrical tape to seal the connections from shorting out as the customer wants to use the vent hood light until she can replace the vent hood. I advised the customer that they would need to keep the filter clean which is the reason the flame caught the unit on fire due to a large amount of grease residue. Job completed. Took two pics of damaged vent hood.

Arrived on site to inspect oven door handle loose. Upon further inspection, I found that the vent trim was badly damaged and missing two screws. Where the handle screws into the vent trim was broken off and the the that attaches the handle to the vent trim and the screw test attaches the handle/vent trim to the door were missing. Also, the handle was badly damaged, as well. I removed and replaced the vent trim and handle and returned the door to the oven unit. Unit operated as designed.

Tested unit and found wash plate and barrel sections of agitator both damaged due to loose bolt. Also bolt does not appear to of had any Loctite from manufacturing to prevent loosening of the bolt over time. Replaced Washplate, bolt and barrel and tested unit. WED5000DW whirlpool dryer Arrived on site to test unit for no heat. Found element cycling properly with door open. Found about 6 feet of duct crushed into about 4 inches causing poor air flow. arrived on site to inspect dishwasher dispenser not opening. Upon further inspection, I found that the units dispenser components are plastic and due to their age they are worn and are not functioning properly. I tested the unit by taking the inner door liner off and verifying the connection between the cam and the actuator but the teeth on the actuator are worn as are on the cam. The door latch is worn as well. Office to order latch kit, actuator, dispenser, draw bar, spring, dispenser door, door spring, pin dowel, drip cover, and follower/cam. Office to schedule return service. No water leaks observed during service.

Arrived on site for noise in spin, found nut to pulley on gearcase loose, allowing for noise between shift actuator change and spin. Retightened, verified operations. No errors, all water connections dry all parms check correctly. No noise.

Arrived on site and found drain the motor is not moving water, inspected drain and found a piece of glass stopping impeller from spinning. Took one picture. Impeller is damaged and drain pump will need to be replaced. After replacing pump ran a diagnostic cycle and confirmed all operations are correct. Also found drain connection to garbage disposal is shared with reverse osmosis system. This should not be done because reverse osmosis purging could overflow dishwasher. Recommend that customer contact reverse osmosis company to correct this. Drain motor $81.02 DW165 $169.99
