"MCWC50DBT Arrived to instal parts. I found the unit is leaking air through the cabinet and creating large masses of ice on the back wall. The back wall of the chamber is integral with the evaporator and fractures within the back wall are very evident. The sealed system appears to be loosing capacity as there was a large mass of ice in the area where the capillary tube enters into the evaporator, but due to the evaporator being permanently foamed in place, cannot be inspected. The compressor developed a loud rattle after several minutes of operation. I cannot guarantee a good repair due to the badly cracked back wall and apparent sealed system partial failure. No water connections present."

"arrived on site to inspect refrigerator not cooling. Upon further inspection, using my multimeter, I placed my temp lead in the fresh foods section under the crisper drawer and waited approximately five minutes. My temp reading was 51.7 degrees. I checked temps in the fc section and my temp reading was 6 degrees. I removed the crisper drawer and found a large amount of ice built up on the bottom of the Evap cover and evaporator. Due to this issue occurring approximately seven months ago, I called Techline and spoke to Liam and explained the situation. He suggested clearing the ice and replacing the Evap cover again and positioning the thermistor and heat exchanger line in the correct positions. He provided file #7723290385. I removed the contents of the rc section along with the shelves and removed the Evap cover to find a large amount of ice on the evaporator. Customer has two pictures that I attached to the service call out when the frost is just beginning inside the freezer. Frost buildup can only be caused by condensation inside the freezer, inspected gasket and did not find any chairs and it appears to be making a good seal. Checked blower fan all checks good remove drum and found excessive glue from the rear seal causing the roller wheels to hit and make bumping noises. Removed excess of glue replaced roller wheels. "Arrived on site for refrigerator not dispensing water. Performed diagnostics and tested water to door and found good water pressure going to door. Found war line frozen inside of door. Gained access to dispenser water tube and found tube heater kit had already been installed. Tested heater and found possible short in heater circuit. Adjusted wire to heater and thawed water line out. Dispensed 2 plus gallons through dispenser because customer changed water filter when failure first occurred. Unit checked good. If water line freezes again, will need to replace heater. No charge for recent failure. All checks good, no water leaks present."

"Arrived on site refrigerator not making ice. Inspected unit and found frost buildup around ice container gasket and ice maker fascia. Measured temperature in ice container at 5°. Inspected RC evaporator, checked good. Inspected ice maker and found dry. Performed diagnostics mode and checked ice maker error codes and found E2 lost position. Ran fill test and checked for water. Ran ice maker motor test and ice maker would not cycle. Tested voltage to ice maker and found within range. Tested ice level, tested good. Tested heater fascia and DC voltage, within range. Found failure is with ice maker.(RF360) . Customer approved estimate. Ran fill test and monitored water connection. Cycled ice maker. All tested good, no water leaks present. Please allow 24 hours for first batch of ice. Paid in full on credit card."
