WASHER MAYTAG LSQ9010LW0 "Arrived onsite for the washer that is tearing clothing, is very loud, and when pouring liquid bleach in the dispenser cup it runs out on the floor. I found the porcelain coming off the holes in the lower part of the basket causing clothing to snag and tare due to the age of the unit. I found the transmission knocking and the clutch slipping from worn gears and springs due to the age of the unit. I found the tub ring stopped up with liquid bleach causing it to run over the top and down on the floor. Need to clean out the tub ring, replace the basket and the transmission to complete service. I also explained that the silicone to the counter top would need to be removed by the builder or themselves so the unit could be pulled forward to adjust the valves low flame setting for LP gas. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested on modes 59, 65, 66, 79, 97, and 120 and all tests were good. During test 120, the ice maker harvested correctly. In mode 97, the water tube did not dispense any water. I removed the ice maker and inspected the wiring and found them to be good. I verified ohms to the water tube heater. I disconnected the tube at the left door hinge and tested the water tube again and water dispensed out of the main tube. I reconnected the tubes and tested one more time and this time water dispensed from the water tube. I re-installed the ice maker and tested again, and the water tube dispensed water ad the ice maker began to operate as designed. I advised the customer of my findings. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."
