REFRIGERATOR MAYTAG MFI2570FEZ05 "arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker not dispensing. Upon further inspection, I tested the ice dispenser and it dispensed cubed ice, but not crushed ice. I removed the ice bin and found a large amount of ice in the bin. I held the door switch closed and pressed the ice dispenser pad and the motor would turn and the solenoid would pop. Tested the ice bin auger and it turned as well. Placed the ice bin back in and tested and the motor sounded as if it were bogging down when trying to crush the ice. I removed do and replaced the dispenser motor and tested and the unit began to operate as designed and crushed the ice. I advised the customer of my findings and repair. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

I tested temps in the oven with my multimeter and found that the unit does not heat up. I removed t(e unit from its place and removed the back cover and control cover and tested ohms to the element and other components. All tested good. I inspected the control and found the Bake element relay was melted. I removed and replaced the control and tested and the unit operated as designed. I advised the customer of my findings/repairs. OVEN JENN-AIR JJW3830DS02 "arrived on site to inspect oven lights. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the units interior lights will come on randomly. According to Service Pointer #W11251040A, the UI console is to have an updated software of 14.00.00. I attempted to place the unit in diagnostics and it would not go into diagnostics. I removed and replaced the UI console ad placed it into diagnostics and checked the software version and this part has the old software 13.00.00. I contacted Techline and spoke to Mike who advised that the old version was to be purged and the new version 14.00.00 was to be distributed and installed. Upon further inspection, using a cup I attempted to get the unit to dispense water with no avail. The unit dispensed ice. I checked the water filter and removed it and then reinstalled it and I tried the water dispenser again and it operated as designed. I continued to test the dispenser and it continued to dispense water. I opened the left RC door and pressed on the door switch and tested the dispenser and it operated as designed. I advised the customer of that the unit is operating properly and advised of the tests I performed on it. Unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

After turning the power off at the breaker, I pulled the unit from its space and tested ohms to the fuse ad found it open. Also tested the TOD in the back of the unit and it was good as were the other components.I did not charge for the fuse due to it being replaced in September 2018 and is still within the one year warranty. The customer paid in full and I removed and replaced the fuse and turned the power back on at the breaker box. The unit operated as designed. Job completed."
