I found the bake and broil gas mixtures set all the way open, allowing too lean of an air-fuel ratio and causing incomplete burn, causing the characteristic “blowtorch” sound and excessive raw gas odor. I set both air intakes to the correct mixture and tested. I advised the customer to utilize the venting system within the micro-hood and verified correct operations. No gas leaks detected during service.

arrived on site to inspect venthood falling apart. Upon further inspection, the customer provided me with a dismantled venthood filter. I also found that the fan blade was melted which caused the dismantling of the filter. Looking further into the unit, I found that due to extreme heat/high flame, the fan motor connector was slightly melted, but the fan still operates. I advised the customer that I will order a fan motor assembly and scheduled return service for 07/09/18 and advised that the office would contact them to schedule a time frame. I advised the customer to not use the unit until the part was replaced.

arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. I arrived with an oven side panel and two (2) cooktops. I used my floor protector to protect the floor as I pulled the unit away from the wall. I removed and replaced the side panel and I removed the cooktop and as I removed the new cooktop from its box, I found that it was damaged at the back of the part where it fits under the control panel. There was a large chip of paint missing. I opened the other cooktop box and found that the second cooktop was good; therefore, I installed it. I tested the burners on the cooktop and all operated as designed. No gas leaks detected during service. Job completed.

Upon further inspection, I found that the unit was not wired up and the customer was attempting to install a new power cord when the wire nut fell inside the unit. I quoted the customer DR200 $179.99 to clean the unit and install the power cord. The customer agreed to the service and fair fees. I found the wire nut inside the unit under the drum. I retrieved the nut and used my vacuum to clean out the unit. I put the unit back together and installed the power cord and tested and the unit operated as designed. At the end of the cycle, the end-of-cycle beep came on but I could hear a second beeping noise. I pressed the #1 button to turn off the keypad beeps and tested again. Again at the end of the cycle I could hear two beeps almost like an echo. I advised the customer that I am going to replace the control and would return on 07/05/18 to do so. Customer advised that someone would be available that date.

arrived on site to inspect range rubber bumper broken off of grate. Upon arrival, the customer showed me that one of the rubber bumpers was missing/broken off of the left grate. I removed and replaced both grates as the part is a kit of both grates. Tested unit and unit operates as designed. No gas leaks detected during service.

WRF555SDFZ02 (Refrigerator) - Arrived onsite for customer complaint of French door refrigerator it making crushed ice. Removed ice bin and found guide rod not properly inserted between solenoid. Advised customer on how to install ice bin. Customer also concerned about popping noise when door is opened in RG RC door. Removed door and applied petroleum jelly to cam. Reinstalled door. Door now opens/closes with no pop noises. No other issues found. All water connections were dry at time of service.

Model WRB322DMBM00, Arrived on call for ice maker not making ice, found only 84 ac volts to ice maker with freezer light switch closed on freezer, pulled out freezer light switch and it unthawed and reinstalled it and know with switch reinstalled is getting 120 ac volts to ice maker and ice maker cycled but when closing light switch the light flickers for 10 seconds even though light switch is closed and then light goes out, will need to order freezer light switch, will reschedule for 7/4/18, no water leaks at time of call.
