arrived on site to inspect insulation poking out of the side of the unit. Upon arrival, I found that the insulation was poking out of the right side of the unit. In the process of pulling the unit out to re-install the insulation, I found that the unit door would not stop opening until it reached the floor. I checked the friction pads and found that the right side friction pad was missing. I installed a new friction pad and tested the door and it functioned properly. I placed the unit in diagnostics after re-installing the insulation and the unit operates as designed. No water leaks observed during service.

arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. I removed and replaced the drain pump and began to remove the drain hose at the unit, but did not need to as it was fine with no obstructions. I removed the drain tube at the food disposal and found it clogged with a black colored debris. I used the customers water hose to blow out the debris and found it to be coffee grinds. I clean the tube and re-installed it and tested the unit. Unit operated as designed. I found a large amount of coffee grinds inside the food disposal and advised the customer that the coffee grinds was the cause of the drain pump burning out. I recommended that the customer throw the coffee in the trash and not in the disposal. No water leaks observed during service. Job completed.

Arrived on site for ice dispenser not working. Customer informed me that before prior repair the ice dispenser was not working. She mentioned that to previous technician. Previous technician installed new control board and the unit began to dispense ice. It dispensed for about one week and hasn’t worked sense. The customer can bang on the door just above the user interface and it will work. This was the case today that if I tapped on the door it would work or would stop working. Remove user interface and tried the same procedure proving there is a door wiring issue. Customer does not wish to invest money to replace the door. All water connections were dry.

I removed the unit from the wall and tested the diode and it was open. The magnetron and capacitor were open as well. arrived on site to inspect dishwasher lower rack wheels falling off. Upon arrival, the customer advised that there are five wheels that have fallen off of the bottom rack. Upon further inspection, I found that the unit will need all four sets of wheels for the bottom rack. I tested the unit by placing it in diagnostics to make sure there were no other issues with the unit. The operated as designed. I quoted the customer for four sets of wheels $160.64 and with tax the total is $173.89. The customer advised that they could install them and advised that they would contact whirlpool and see about getting them at a cheaper cost. I advised the customer of the service/diagnostics fee of $108.24 and she paid in full with a check. The customer opted to no service the unit until she could contact the manufacturer first. No water leaks observed during service.

Found f7e1 error in service diagnostics, found lid lock flashing when tech put in to drain and spin, motor humming but would not spin. Removed front of cabinet to watch motor. Put unit into a wash cycle and found motor is humming on wash cycle, removed belt to verify that nothing was stalling motor. Found motor with voltage but no movement. Faulty new motor, will need to replace motor, capacitor and shift actuator. Customer spoke with company who sold it they are replacing unit. Country mile warehouse- jess. All water connections dry.

arrived on site to inspect dishwasher door gasket/seal catching on the bottom rack. Upon further inspection, I found that the gasket/seal was not seated correctly and was catching on the bottom racks left side as one pulled it forward and pushed it back. I reseated the gasket, but found that the top left corner of the gasket was badly bound up and had a small tear in it. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested and unit operated as designed. Office to order gasket/seal and scheduled return service for 06/25/18 MS. No water leaks observed during service.

WGG555S0BS01 Arrived to inspect gas odor. I discussed the issue with the customer and found they had detected gas odor within close proximity to the unit. It was an isolated incidence and had occurred after cleaning personnel had been within the residence. I tested the all of the burners and found no odor of raw fuel. I used a gas detector and it registered no ppm during a normal burn. I activated the valves without allowing ignition and the detector registered gas present and at anticipated levels. I advised the customer of my findings and to ensure a check of the unit after anyone who is not familiar with the unit and it’s operation has been near. Operational test good, no gas leaks detected during service.

Tested unit and found shorted defrost control causing excessive frost in freezer evap coil. Short occurred due to normal wear and tear. Replaced defrost control and tested unit. Found all is functioning properly at this time.

KFIV29PCMS03 Arrived to inspect ice in fc and ice issues. I found the ice bin level sensor shipping tape in place and removed. The unit had a large amount of surface ice within the fc and there was a 9 inch area or the bottom of the fc door gasket, pulled completely away from the door liner. I was able to correct the gasket and bond it to the door permanently. The drain showed signs of leaking onto the lower unit pan and I found it was completely plugged. I removed the debris and tested. Operational test good, no leaks observed during service.
